Excellent customer service. Enthusiastic team and a great vision.
PROSOur customers can now search for information across multiple doc sets, which facilitates a single solution. As admins, we can see both general and focused metrics about the way our customers use our docs, and can tune our content to make it easier and quicker for customers to reach the information they're looking for.
CONSThe dashboard is very high level, and sometimes I'd like more info at the first glance.

Good overall search engine
Good company to work with. They want it to work. Integrated with SalesForce quite well.
PROSSearchUnify is focused on great customer service. Once setup, it is quite stable.
CONSThe gauranteed price increase every year is difficult.Indexing has to be done in a very specific way and if it is not done that way, the index can be left unusable. Have not had any indexing issues for about a year now.

Great search platform with excellent support
I've been involved with all aspects of using SearchUnify, from the initial purchase to on-going usage and administration. There are quite a few areas that I really like. I think the team has been amazing to work with, they have been responsive and really go above and beyond to try to help us solve problems. They have been open to suggestions and since the beginning, I've seen continuous improvements in the product and what's offered.
PROSThe entire concept of the tool is cool. I love how we can connect to multiple sources to pull relevant content back into one search results page, reducing MTTK. I also love the analytics and being able to see the journey and identifying gaps.
CONSThat we haven't been able to embed it into Confluence however this is apparently something they can do now and we are working to address this.

I did look at alternative products. My top two choices were pretty close in price however SearchUnify stood out in the level of service they provided which was the main deciding factor.

Everything You'll Want in Your Search Solution
I'm extremely happy and look forward to their latest releases. They really understand their stakeholder's needs and always deliver.
PROSAs the Senior Community Strategist at Zuora, what sold me on SearchUnify was their analytics dashboard. It provided every detail one could possibly want from a user's search and provided information that one could take immediate action to improve results.
CONSI would like to see in-app information dialog boxes that explained what results were and for what timeframe. However, whenever I ask their support team any questions, they are quick to respond - and respond with detailed explanations.

While we were aware of other products, their promptness and attentiveness to detail is above and beyond. We are very happy with SearchUnify and Grazitti.
Reasons for switching to SearchUnify
At the time, our out-of-the-box search solution was inadequate where nearly 98% of our visitors used Google instead of our search. We knew we had to make a change and we discovered SearchUnify.

Saves times, easy to implement and excellent Support
Implementation is easy but requires a bit of planning. However, the return of investment can be measured by a reduction in time to resolution and less support volume. SearchUnify's engineering team is incredibly fast and empathetic to customers.
PROSSearchUnify is helping us to fetch the relevant information to the Support engineers while resolving customer issues. It has been easy to implement, and it covers the sources that are of interest to us. We mainly search for similar support cases, Jira, Confluence, Helpnet, Lithium community, and StackOverflow. Showing matching results from different sources on the case page itself, helps us save time to search for information at various locations. SearchUnify's engineering and implementation team was very responsive and resolved the initial implementation issues very quickly. I must say that I was impressed by their speed of response.
CONSIt should support more sources. The Salesforce windows where the search results are displayed is very small. However, it is not a fault of SearchUnify rather Salesforce is quite inflexible.

Growing with SU
SU allowed us to employ federated search across applications, which has been a major help for us. It is flexible enough to accommodate a lot of different use cases.
PROSCustomer support has been excellent as we learn more about how to optimize for our needs.
CONSThere has been a pretty steep learning curve (for us), so feel we have a ways to go to really make it sing.

Amazing customer service
Tracking usage metrics and enable customers to search across multiple doc sets. It's been a game changer.
PROSSearchUnify has one of the best customer service experiences in the industry. Very responsive!
CONSSometimes the solution can be a little buggy, but the SLA to fix makes it much less painful

SU Client Success and Support Experience
I was brought in mid-game to the SearchUnify Implementation with our company Knowledgebase, and the SU team was amazing at getting me up to speed on the integration. I had a direct pipeline to engineering to answer questions, made aware of upcoming releases, and given documented install procedures. Easy to work with and accommodating. The immediate acknowledgment from their support staff was superb, and they were able to help me with specific search tuning with little explanation needed from my end. Definitely looking forward to expanding our install.
CONSI am still hoping to explore more API connectors in conjunction with my other content sources to have the most real-time search indexes, without necessitating too many API calls.
