A convenient form for the Microsoft Ecosystem
Overall, for our basic needs, MS Forms is perfect for internal polls, surveys, and quizzes.
PROSI like that the forms are easy to use within the Microsoft ecosystem, our team uses MS 365. The forms are intuitive enough and can be customized to fit basic surveys, polls, and even quizzes.
CONSIt does have limits like being unable to capture e-signatures natively (I think there is a separate integration for this).
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
We used to be with Google Workspace, so when we transitioned to MS 365, we switched this one too. We still use Google Forms for our website, because we want to keep MS Forms within our company's use.

Level up your surveys with Microsoft Forms
Overall, Microsoft Forms is one of the best form builders out there. It helps you to create surveys in just a single click. Not to mention, it has an intuitive interface with no complicated settings.
PROSWhat I really like about Microsoft Forms is its easy interface. It's incredibly beginner-friendly that even children couldn't go wrong. Not to mention that it has themes, by which I can change the background in just a click. I also love the preview option to see what it will look like.
CONSAlthough the Microsoft Forms is free, I could not send or share a form without an active business or education subscription.
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Form is much easier to use than Jotform.

Only use if you need a very basic form...
Creating forms was relatively quick and easy, and there aren't too many confusing buttons to choose from.
CONSWhen my team found out that we were potentially switching from Qualtrics to Forms, we tried making the surveys on Forms and found that there weren't too many features that wouldn't add more work to our end. It would be very helpful if there was an email trigger function so that other emails could be sent out upon completion of a survey - we tried coding that ourselves on Power Automate but for some reason we couldn't pull the listed email and required information

Microsoft Forms is a simple way to boost and streamline your teaching effort
Forms has helped my teaching be more efficient, effective and less stressful. Once you have invested the time in setting them up (good news, it is not that hard), your payback is multifold over many years. Bonus - the students love this technology, the instant feedback, and the ability to type their answers. The limit is your imagination.
PROSForms is a relatively simple way of creating tests, surveys and other activities that once set up can be used again and again with little effort to many classes.
CONSIf you are a power user of Forms you can rapidly come up with a limit to how many forms you can use. This needs to increase to make this less of an issue.

Microsoft forms is way far better than any other survey tools
Very happy and satisfied using the forms. We have been using forms for quiz, internal surveys and few new initiative polls
PROSI liked many featured in the forms. However, the scheduling and the background image change was impressive.
CONSWhile running a live quiz, if we had an option to add the timer for each question, that would have been more helpful.
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
The dependency, login limitations, controls and ease of usage made us switch to MS forms

Basic survey/forms tool, with good integration
It's easy to create a form and store the results. The results can also easily be fed into an automatic flow using Microsoft Power Automate.
CONSVery limited ability to customize the look and feel of the form, and to create more advanced flows.
Reason for choosing Microsoft Forms
Cheap (already included in our Microsoft 365 licenses) and well-integrated with other Microsoft products we use.

Conduct a Propper survey with Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Forms creates the environment to conduct a Propper survey.
PROSCustomization of fields and forms and analytical tools are the most impactful features of this application. Security of collected data is a high concern in surveying and Microsoft Forms ensures the security of my data. there have been no issues till now regarding the security of data. Its ability to integrate with other Microsoft applications is an additional advantage when working as a planning engineer. Exporting data of respondents in different file formats, especially to Microsoft Excel is a valuable feature.
CONSI would recommend having a feature that can create a form depending on how the respondent answers the previous questions. Although it integrates with Microsoft products, it is difficult to integrate with other applications.

Easy to use form and survey builder that is powerful when combined with Power Automate
It's very easy to use, setup, and configure. It also connects with Microsoft Power Automate and Zapier which connects this form to tons of automation and integrations.
CONSOut of the box, the functionality is very limited. The documentation for using with Power Automate and Zapier is not the greatest.

Great way to get feedback from employees
I LOVE these forms. I've used these for several years for a variety of purposes. I use this as the RSVP form for employee events and to gain feedback after events or for voting on an activity prior to planning an event. Employees seem to experience little difficulty in using these forms. I've put this out for the public to vote on how they'd like to receive communications from us so we can identify weak points where we're "missing the market". I already recommend this to anyone that comes to me since I'm kind of the keeper of the forms.
PROSAbility to get feedback internally and externally Possibilities of use are endless!
CONSA couple times I've experienced issues if I edit a form after responses are already coming in, but that's pretty minimal and it's only caused issues with viewing the result diagrams. Actual answers weren't bothered.

Decent online survey, quiz, poll created software
Intuitive user-friendly interface. It's web-based and cross-platform (Windows, MacOS and others) making it flexible and you can create surveys, monitor them or manage them anywhere on any device. Being a part of Microsoft Office 365 gives it another advantage such as integration with Microsoft excel, which is a powerful data management and analysis tool enabling easy response analysis. Integration with Microsoft office is number one advantage over the competition as it's a business-focused. Microsoft forms distinguishes itself by enabling sending different questions to survey respondents based on their answers. It gives more options to create quizzes, tests, polls and surveys
CONSMicrosoft forms lack diverse questions formats like Google forms which gives linear, scale, dropdown and multiple choice questions formats

An easy and accessible survey and quiz creator
It has been a great tool to use with both staff and students - its ease of use and accessibility has made it a regular in most teacher's Microsoft toolbag.
PROSIt can be used to create surveys, as well as quizzes, which means I can use it to collect data on student feedback, but also use it to create tests and quizzes to use to check for learning. Also - it easily embeds in Microsoft Teams, OneNote and PowerPoint.
CONSOverall it is difficult to pinpoint something I like 'least' - however, the Likert scale is not as customizable as I would like.

Forms, great for polling, not the best for grading higher level thinking problems
Overall, I think it is a great product for formative assessments and surveying. I use it in my high school classroom often.
PROSThe real-time graphs and pie charts are great for polling and surveys for my students. Having a QR code makes completing the Form very easy.
CONSI often give students question where they have to show equations, work, or write in sentences. Other online assessment tools allow me to grade those types of answers on wifi, in real time. Forms makes you download an excel, take up space on your device, and then it isn't in real time. I would also suggest that you allow us to customize the link right on your platform. Your links are absurdly long and I have to use an outside website to shorten it.

Very powerful form builder
It's integrated with other Microsoft products, so users can easily use it to collect and analyze the data. I strongly recommend it to anyone seeking a powerful form builder.
PROSMicrosoft Forms is a fantastic tool for easily creating forms within minutes. All departments in my company primarily use MS Forms to collect process data by creating and utilizing the forms. I like that I can export my responses to Excel for further analysis.
CONSThere could be more ways to share surveys. Another thing that I don't like is that there is no way to customize the appearance of the forms very much.

Excellent for Surveys and Polls
It is easy and quick to set up a survey and polls using Microsoft Forms. We can easily gather votes from the staff before we make any decisions, this is also great when we do surveys for employees' satisfaction.
CONSI feel like Microsoft can improve this by adding more templates, and also the designs and details on the generated reports, however for now it is free, so it is worth it.

Microsoft Forms for your Surveys
If you need to create a questionnaire for your survey, poll for your research, this is one of a best tool available. Just like google forms you can create questions, selective answers, dropdown menus etc. As a feedback, it's possible to get the collected data as a spreadsheet and analyze.
CONSDoes not see such a difference with google sheets but since almost everyone has a google account google forms is more popular in Sri Lanka.

Microsoft Forms
I have used Microsoft forms in myriad ways. I've used it to build surveys and gather data/ideas about key takeaways. I've used it to gather feedback on meetings and turned those into actionable insights.
PROSIt's pretty easy and integrates well with the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite
CONSIt's a little bit of trial and error. At times, the form was capturing data I didn't ask for - but that eventually worked itself out through some hidden toggles.
