Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I really like that suppliers can only bill the line items that are set up with their subcontract. This prevents overbillings and it helps keep our job cost accurate.
  • The thing I like most about this software is the ease of utilizing it and its ability to have our subcontractors use it as well. It also integrates really well with our accounting software Vista.
  • Cons

  • Obviously this could take place outside of GCPay, but in my opinion, it should be a one stop shop for pay app management.
  • The cost to pass down on each individual invoice to lower tier subcontractors.

  • The records being detailed with their date and time is also a huge plus as it helps me look, investigate or keep track of what I need to pull up for payments and billing concerns.
  • I love how everything is easy to use, it gives you control over a lot of things that stripe does not.
  • Cons

  • The software was missing some functionalities that I would think would be standard with a billing and payment oriented software. The billing periods/cycles were not easily customizable.
  • I understand the platform is just letting me know I can contact support for any issues and how but for experience users that know how to do this already, it can just be a little annoying.
