An Efficient Tool for monitoring the office

I am satisfied with the software as it enables me to manage the warehouse & logistics 3P people across the country under my leadership in terms of punctuality and project completion. This application really helps. I choose to recommend to other people for efficient monitoring of 3P people which will ensure productivity and bring efficiency into the operation.

PROS

I. Data accuracy. II. Employee/Agents attendance. III. Enables blocking of certain websites & program which ensures productivity. IV. Project monitoring and employee behavior analysis. V. Personalized reports generation.

CONS

I do not have anything to dislike about this software. It works really well for me.

Great Return on Investment

This software has the essential features necessary for monitoring your employees. We've been able to tell who is working hard and who is goofing off. The price is great and for what you get it gives you great ROI. We would have like some additional features and would have been willing to pay more for features like integration with our phone system to know how much phone time and call attempts our employees made but we are happy with the software the way it is and hope these other features will come in the future. Another thing to note is that the reports on the employees' work hours only comes if they log in on the company's VPN. Some of our employees figured out that if they never log in on our VPN we can't monitor them. A nice feature to have would be that the system uploads the data to an internet server then that server sends the data to our server. That would allow us to get the data every time an employee touches the internet instead of depending on the employees loggin in on the VPN.

PROS

Low price. Captures employee work hours. Good return on the dollar.

CONS

It only sends data on employees if they are on a VPN or our company's network. Employees can defeat the data reporting if they don't log in on the VPN. A nice feature to have would be to send the data to our server every time the employee touches the internet whether they log in on the VPN or not. Another nice feature that is missing is a report of who is currently working and who is not (live update).

Worktime Virus

The only problem ive had to solve with WorkTIme was figuring out how to uninstall it off of an end user's machine while the computer is screaming and being slowly engulfed in flames. Thankfully, the client doesn't show up in the programs list! That would be too easy and convenient. Overall this software is a great way to punish any administration with the audacity to try to make sure their employees are being productive by actually destroying the very hardware the employers have sought to protect.

PROS

Ever since i was a little kid i wanted a laptop that could fly. Thanks to worktime, my cpu fan starts to spin so fast to compensate for the hardware requirements of a background app that the laptop ACTUALLY LIFTS OFF THE DESK like a drone!! Why waste thousands on a new drone when you can just install Worktime Cloud monitoring and turn your boring, functioning laptop into a spinning flying death trap!

CONS

It isn't free. Normally a minor nuisance, like stubbing your toe or running out of ice cream, is free. This nuisance comes with a monthly charge.

No-nonsense software

We wanted to find out the usage patterns of our equipment and software licenses, and not so much "worker" productivity as we are a school... we put this onto the computers to track student habits - not interested at all in individuals' behavior but more of anonymous totals. It worked fairly well for this. We switched to Labstats Online later on as they offered more of the usage tracking with much less personal data (schools have to watch out about what data they track about students).

PROS

Easy to set up Has lots of options for various things to track has scheduling and groups to track different things in different spaces doesn't eat up a lot of resources reasonable price, no-nonsense software and support staff

CONS

The generated reports can be difficult to customize for useful data - it is meant as a corporate analysis tool for worker productivity and not necessarily what we used it for - namely to see how many licenses of a software were in use on which computer, for how long by which person. It tracked *all* that info but presenting that data in a meaningful way wasn't very easy to do.

Best monitoring software

At my previous job we first used a different application. But it was inconvenient, too invasive and very hard on system resources. One day we decided to use WT and it was our best decision. In this new workplace I advised it with confidence and my colleagues are happy with that decision.

PROS

The best employee monitoring software I've ever tried. Every option they provide is very good.

CONS

Sometimes we needed a support assist to figure some minor thing out.

Easy to Use / Very Detailed

I am in consulting and need to track my time. This is a lifesaver if I go a few days without recording it. I have been using it for years.

PROS

Really easy to install and once it is working it tracks everything. The reporting is super helpful and I often export to Excel when I need to customize it.

CONS

I wish it was easier to customize the reports. There are a lot of fields I don't need but others which are critical. The filters are great, but need ability to select fields.

Does exactly what the description says!

PROS

It just works and is very easy to configure. From tracking time spent on various projects, it makes it easy for attorneys to bill their time effectively.

CONS

We had trouble with the license various times, and the support for the product does not seem to be very high. If you can configure it yourself, great. If not, don't bother.

Awesome!!!

Our goal was: increase productivity in each department in our company. With WorkTime software we identified problems spots and ways for workflow optimization.

This is my second job where we use WorkTime. And all my experience is totally positive. I can advise it to everyone.

PROS

I like we can evaluate the employee attendance from different sides without any intrude. Nobody is offended.

CONS

I'd like that it doesn't log out all the time.

WorkTime Love it!

I have a previous version of Worktime that I really like for its simplicity. I tried the newer version, but I realized I didn't need more, I just needed to use it! I have used this program for years, and I wouldn't dream of using anything else, since it has proven its ROI.

PROS

Simplicity; Project and Activity Flexibility; Stealth capability because it tracks me when I don't realize it! It increases my productivity, since I can review a week or month, and see how many hours I am logging in the computer.

CONS

I would really like a printed invoice directly from the software that I could send to clients, without having to download it to Excel or attach it to another invoice. I would ilke to set up defaults for printing reports, because I have to reset the parameters every time.

Very good tool to self-tracking of the time spent on various activities

Best activity monitoring tool

PROS

Great reporting and charts. Helps me to be proactive in managing my staff. And, they have free version up to 3 employees so you can try before getting the licensed version which includes over 70 reports.

CONS

So far, I have not seen anything that I don't like about this product.

Excelent Product but shortfall is the manual intervention required each time client changes

I would prefer to focus on the software file used to identify the client (i.e. which spreadsheet link etc) which identifies the client clearly. Unfortunately this does not always work on items like Outlook which are used on all clients. Overall a good products as a starting point for reviewing time spent.

Worktime Corporate

Worktime provides very detailed data on user activity. You can track down anything you need by running a report. All of the information you would ever need is in there. The user interface for creating groups could use some improvement and the reports take a long time to run sometimes. Other than that we are happy with the product.

PROS

I like the level of detail that it captures. There is nothing it doesn't provide.

CONS

Sometimes a bit slow and the grouping feature could be a bit better in the user interface design.

Pretty good software for it's price. It exceeded my expectations

Developer claims of encryption system were true. Very useful to our architectural firm

CONS

The server crashes sometimes , but the developer fixes the problems quickly.

Works well but has some glitches

I have this software installed on 7 computers that I manage. I use it strictly for monitoring windows login/logout events. I really like that it is able to run in the background so general users do not have to see it. It is easy to export reports in a number of different formats. I have been using the program for years and feel it is the best value out there for what it does. I have run into a few glitches, some of which Nestersoft has been slow to fix. I ended up writing a simple macro in excel to get the data in the format that I need it. Better documentation defining how the calculations are performed for each available report metric would help, the metrics are not always what they seem. I definitely intend to keep using it.

Worktime is able to record my users' activities and allow me to export the report.

Study of user behaviour in terminal servers. Able to see software use and computer use. Monitor user activities in server.

PROS

To record our users behaviours when they access to system. I can export details log and use in excel. The reports are able to highlight users' access to terminal server.

CONS

A limitation to schedule export to email to Administrator. Unable to provide immediate alert to Administrator for illegal activities in terminal server. Cannot drill down to further details of user behaviour.

Just Fantastic

Previous agents were too heavy for our company's server, so it was important for us to find a program with minimal resource consumption. Thankfully, we discovered the best software for our needs. Highly recommend.

PROS

Silent agent, very light on system resources.

CONS

No options for language changing

WorkTime review

Good price and support. Implementation took us only a couple of hours for a 1000 users

PROS

Cheap and very useful. There have never been any errors in data collection.

CONS

Sometimes, the chart does not display the axis value at the bottom, but this can be fixed by simply reloading the page.

Needed to track usage. Software shows history is a quick report. AS the user logs in, I see when, how much he/she is working and were monies are going.
