Most Pastors and/or Church leaders are familiar with Planning Center, Tithely, Church Community Builder, Breeze, Rock, etc. We have done extensive research on every platform on the market today and most don't come close to offering what OneChurch Software offers.I understand that different churches have certain preferences based on specific needs and may be "gun-shy" about trying something new. I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. #### Cons OCS is a bit pricey when compared to another leading ChMs that we were using prior to coming over to OCS. OCS pricing goes up based on the number of member profiles that are active in your system. The previous company that we used was a flat $99 monthly fee regardless of how many profiles were in the system. This is pretty much the only knock that I have against them. #### Reasons for choosing One Church Software Functionality, ease of use, Ability to use with other software platforms, customizable, etc. #### Reasons for switching to One Church Software Our preferred ChMs with Tithely was Elvanto which they own. They also recently acquired Breeze and have developed their own internal ChMS called Tithely People. The development and upgrading of Elvanto seems to no longer be a priority to them. No exporting from contributions rearranging data and importing into accounting. Forms are easy to use and some of the fields will add/count in the summary section. Has a printable directory for the folks that like a printed directory. Groups are easy to manage. Each group has their own calendar. Can easily email all members of the group. Service Planning has categories and a multi-grid for easy assigning of volunteers. Automation is wonderful for membership process and visitor process etc. Reports and be auto sent via the query function. The serving area is where the congregation can sign up to serve areas that are needed. Usually have answers to questions in the chat (customer support) in 15-30 minutes during business hours. Merchant account (USIO) does not charge a percent + thirty cents per transaction. Just a percentage. There is a box to allow the giver to cover the fees. We are not large enough to use the facilities scheduling, but it's there if we need it. #### Cons Because it has so much available it takes a bit to learn. We have older saints that have needed some training, and don't see it as very intuitive. But there is a lot of availability with the software so it takes some time to learn when you haven't worked with computer software. Would love an integration with Ministry Safe. Excellent experience with OCS and their support team. I've worked with nearly every ChMS in the market, helping churches select and implement many products. One Church is the most configurable platform without requiring "custom" code or highly technical steps to get most of the functions that churches need. They've done an amazing job of making the user interface clean and powerful. During the early stages of my learning, I was taught that there are a lot of different hammers in knife making, and the trick is, you have to learn which one is right for the job you are doing. I can say without hesitation that One Church is the right tool for the job I am doing. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the data import, but I'm sure if I had communicated better with [sensitive content hidden], things would have gone more smoothly. It works like I, a seasoned church administrator, want a ChMS to work. After the initial training session, I played around with it, made a few mistakes, and was off and running. I was able to have my church online within days of our data import. I really appreciated the price as well! I feel like this is the best bang for the buck I've seen in a ChMS. I've used other church management tools, and One Church is the one I recommend to my peers. #### Cons The data import was a little rough. I didn't realize until it was too late that not all of the important dates were transferred over, such as baptism dates and confirmation dates. The report builder took some time to learn, but once I figured it out, it works well. So far, after 3 months, those are the only two issues. #### Reasons for choosing One Church Software The cost was a huge factor. Also, when we demoed One Church, it seemed to have everything we were looking for. It seemed to be the easiest for the average church member to use. My ministry evaluated over 25 different platforms to handle our donors, events, and members. We choose One Church due to how customizability, support for multiple merchant accounts, and incredible support team! Our team of over 50 plus people was able to learn the platform fairly quickly and are loving it so far. #### Cons No outstanding cons. When there is the occasional bug or issue we run into, the One Church team is constantly on top of it. This one has gotten the best reception by the staff of any I've seen. Most have been happy to give up their old spreadsheets and third-party applications to consolidate our data in one place. The migration from our previous system to OCS went very well. Customer service is very prompt. We wanted database, communication, giving, accounting, and reporting all in one place. The different modules are straight forward and easy to learn. We particularly like the reporting and accounting modules. They help us keep things simple and effective. The monthly fee is reasonable within the industry and for what you get, it is a bargain! On the office side, it's also where we reconcile our finances and it's a great way to keep track of expenses and funds coming in,plus every committee's budget. It's easy to organize or create forms to share within the congregation and keep track of the sign ups. I love that it gives me one platform to navigate all these angles on. #### Cons At times I lose a lot of time figuring out where payments are during reconciliation, only to find out that a glitch has caused the error. The system is very easy to learn and easy to teach to older congregants who may struggle with technology. #### Cons We do not understand why the software should require an additional fee for the ability to customize the mobile app. We have not utilized this feature because of budget reasons and would really like this feature to be included in the product as standard, not an additional tier fee. Online giving (integrated with our website)5. First time guest onboarding through online connect card and automated email. 6. Attendance metrics for all ministries7. Some people can feel overwhelmed at the amount of ways to do different tasks. They are very fast at responding, and they are excellent at bringing the results we need. Concerning the software, it's everything we've needed to run our church smoothly and effectively from any computer or device, anywhere. On the admin side you'll find the following ... Church Directory, Contributions, Groups, Events Calendar, Connections, Reports, Forms, Schedules, Sermons, Campuses, Communications, Metrics and more. On the members side, you'll find a wonderful member's portal, with the member's profile, a Giving Portal for members to easily give and track their donations, a Church Directory, Groups (members can join or request to join), Events Calendar, Forms, Sermons, and more. A great tool for keeping the members connected. And the great thing is, all of this is very customizable and very easy to use. I highly recommend this church software if you're looking for something user-friendly but very powerful. I've tried many Church CRM's, and this one exceeds them all. No incentive was offered Our Church has a small staff team, and so One Church has enabled us to allow a few key volunteers to have access to the system to perform certain tasks, making them an extension of the staff team and removing unnecessary bottlenecks that have delayed key processes in the past. The ability to assign user-level permissions to certain volunteers has made this possible. The automation feature made our volunteer registration process very seamless this year, as people were able to sign up to serve in various departments with no need for data-entry from our staff team. The Events and Check-in features have also been very helpful for both our Children/Youth services and Adult events. We like to use the "Event Invitation" feature with attendance tracking to send out quick invitations and text messages in one simple step. I could go on and on, we really love this tool! We ended up choosing One Church mainly because of the one website platform, but also because of the superb customer service. It's TOP NOTCH. You will not find this type of customer service anywhere else. It's next to none. It's top notch. Also, the platform has so many features but can also be used very simply. It does everything and more that we need it to do and they're always working on putting new things into the program. #### Cons It can be slightly confusing with all of the different options- but that doesn't really matter because you can use the in app chat and get answers and step by step guides to using the platform straight from the developer. The people quick search at the top of any screen can be used to search by entering any part of their name (including nickname), email, and/or phone number.
