Great Clinical Trials Study Management Platform

A highly bespoke product for a clinical trials management platform that met our needs which no other company provides on the market. Very client focused, and always improving their services.

PROS

I like the ease of use, very intuative, similar to Google Drive layout. I like that there is a robust audit trial for every action taken on the platform The AQ team are very responsive to emails/ concerns and work around the individual's needs making a very bespoke product for the service user.

CONS

There was not much that I did not like from the AQ Platform.

I liked how they offered a bespoke service to us, and were very engaged towards our needs in which other companies could not offer. They were also very responsive to emails and worked around our schedule.

Absolutely essential for clinical research trials!

AQ has been an piece of essential software for our busy team. Previously we have used outlook to track appointments and our clinical staff spent hours calling and arranging appointments with our trial participants. AQ has saved us so much time and enabled our team to run more efficiently. In the labs we can plan our week by visually checking the busy and quiet days, we can prepare reagents etc for these events. Each day we print off a list to monitor our sample flow and confirm sample receipt in the labs which is super helpful for sample tracking. I don't know how we would function without this now!

PROS

It's so easy to use for resource planning as it highlights busy and quiet times in a simple visual way. You can plan yours and yours team day/week as all appointments are organizsed in study, time and date order. The filter option is great for those who only need to see what they are working on.

CONS

As a user, I can't access a search bar to quickly search for an event so I have to scroll back and fourth until I find what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your review. Our customer satisfaction and experience is paramount to us. We have very strict SLA's as part of our support and commitment from a technical perspective. Also our account managers have regular meeting and we sent our surveys and participate in user forums to see how AQ can be improved. As everyday users champions of the platform recommend new features and improvements and the AQ product team add this to the develpment plan. In fact over 60% of development come from our customers requiring new features. We are excited to work with them. thank you !

AQ is amazing

This has revolutionised the way we work and improved efficiencies and study compliance reducing admin time spent sending reminders.

PROS

I love the ability to see all appointments that are booked, colour coded by study for ease and speed. Moving appointments is easy, checking against protocol windows. The AQ app is amazing to improve study compliance and reduce admin time contacting participants to remind them. Sending texts and emails in bulk to participants is fantastic as this has allowed us to invite participants to be studies and ensures that we fill spaces fast. The system is really easy to use and makes us look really professional and current.

CONS

Filters can stick on long windows therefore the system can crash when searching how many appointments within a set window. If using on your mobile, the appointments can be moved too easily in error.

AQ:daily use

Very good

PROS

Easy to see with clear and concise viewing of the content .It updates very quickly and is useful to note any changes when samples arrive and when a cohort cancels their appointment

CONS

remembering the password as it has six relating to access and i have to write them down with the order of numbers constantly changing .Could be shorter and there needs to be a clearer way to set up your own passwords

In terms of the Password and access, this is a security requirement based on sensitivity of the data and to ensure the platform is secure, It times out when there is no interaction with the system. We are restricted by the hardware as otherwise we could implement facial recognition just as mobile phones do.

Very positive, easy to trian new staff to use.

PROS

AQ is a very user friendly system, we have been using it in our department for over 2 years now. The booking system with calendar views makes it easy to manage our very busy research clinic. The automated emails and text appointment reminders have improved compliance.

CONS

Great system - nothing that is a major issue.

Easy to navigate and to check the daily data introduced by clinical team

I can't export data by filtring two different variables (Study and visit time points), instead of only one variable.

Thanks Dima, We are improving the insights and reporting and will be including dashboards in our next major release. We will also look at adding further filters to download the data. The reason we have not done this, as many of our users like to get a large data set to connect with other data sources and run further analysis. Thanks for your feedback.

The Log in is a bit annoying, have to log in multiple times throughout the day

Thank you for your review. As the AQ platform needs to be governed by highest security standards it a requirement that we log out users after a certain time of inactivity. I understand it can be annoying, however we need to ensure that no unauthorised access is allowed.
