Users can list available appointment slots, and customers can then look for salon facilities nearby and book appointments through Vagaro’s website or the Vagaro app. VagaroPro, the business app, is available for Android and iOS smartphones.

Users can create customizable promotional web pages to showcase upcoming events and special offers through Vagaro’s website or connect with their customers through email and social media platforms. Customers can also create personalized profiles with their contact information, booking history and feedback. Users can keep records of their customer service histories and generate customizable reports with graphs and charts to track business performance, customer retention and more.

It works well

Some customer service agents should practice asking someone who knows more info when they are not sure about the questions being asked. Also, I can tell when I frustrate a representative. Some training around the tone of one's voice and the emotions that are being revealed during conversation can make or break your customer interactions.

Pros

All of the features. Having everything on one platform to run my small practice is amazing and having one bill is great.

Cons

Gift certificate graphics, fonts need more of an upscale look. I removed this feature from my site because I wasn't attracted to the layout and colors on my site. Email marketing layout needs more of an upscale look. I don't like the clip art and watercolors look not my style.

Great program that does it all!

This is so easy to use as an end user. I get my receipts electronically and my next appointment shows up in an email which I immediately click on to put it in my calendar. I get reminders by email or text, my choice, and am also expected to click to confirm the appointment when the date is close. I love this program!

Pros

Not only does this program schedule appointments, it sends electronic receipts, reminders and confirmation reminders when your appointment is near.

Cons

I can’t really think of any drawbacks.

Vagaro has been a total asset to my business.

Pros

I love that it has all the features to track my business. Easy booking, detailed reports and all for a reasonable price.

Cons

I wish that you could go back and edit a checkout more easily. Sometimes people just make a mistake and it needs to be corrected. I also wish that I could sell products even if the inventory says zero. Sometimes we just haven't had time to add the products we bought. I also wish that when you go to check out and add products they would stay if you have to exit and and do something else before you finish.

Customer support when signing up with Vagaro. They are awesome and will walk you step by step.
Tutorials are great as well
Been with Mindbody for 9 years, it's ridiculously expensive and they have grown sarcastically!!!!!
As a small business owner we need the same courtesies we offer our own clients. No one is exempt!!!!
Vagaro has been great to work with, they help as much as needed, as often as needed,... please don't change.

Cons

Vagaro is customer friendly and user friendly so far not one deficiency at all
I've tried another company for 9 years, it became continuously expensive and the support was not here without some sarcastic attitude on the other end. !!!

Pros

Vagaro continues to improve and will give feedback with or without asking. If you every have the slightest question about something, they will only a phone call or email away! And response time is like no other!

Cons

Ugh! As I do love Vagaro, I have been waiting on them to tell me I can use my own merchant and I will be complete. P.S. Vagaro merchants services are third party so I still know its not my Vagaro I had a minor problem with....it was one of the merchant services that was outsourced to another company.

Pros

I love that it does not have a maximum clients, and that new clients can book their own appointments. I like that it has an app and where you can book/cancel etc. It is a great and easy to use app.

Cons

I wish they had online shop for Canada. Currently my clients cannot purchase packages or products online, but it is not a must for my business right now.

Fantastic!!

Pros

This program is perfect it frees up my time to focus on other areas of my business. I can always count on my clients getting their reminders for their appointments and I don't have to remember to do it!

Cons

I have not yet found a way to merge to clients at check out. I would really like to have this option when I have say a mother daughter come in and the mother wants to pay for both together. Maybe this is already an option and I just have not found it.

Super convenient and very user friendly

Pros

I love the different features they offer. Marketing emails, waitlists, the reports and transactions.
The fact that all of my clients can schedule online and I don't have to answer the phone any more!

there are so many great things!

Cons

The one thing I can not figure out is how to get my clients to schedule right after the person ahead of them. So this leaves me with sometimes 15min gaps or 30 min gaps and it is very frustrating because some days I will have 2-3 15min gaps. And I could probably have taken another 1-2 clients.

The easier the better and everything is fairly easy

Easy to use for stylist and customers. easy to direct my customers to a simple link and they book it :)

Cons

log out sometimes for no reason while using it.. a bit annoying. and when you are checking out with the system there is some flows. it doest close the previous client properly so when you charge the next client you have to exit a few time to actually see the amount and finish the transaction.

Vagaro is an easy and user friendly program. It allows many options for numerous applications and I would recommend it

would love to be able to print bar codes for products that don't have them. find it difficult to use vagaro to do inventory: making purchase orders and checking in orders. IOU's are difficult to remove as an individual process.

I use to pay $400 a mo for Booker!

It does more than booker with all the bells and whistles. My clients love booking online, it makes it very easdy for them but the bottom line is the money I am saving

I cant check anyone out if i am using another credit card other than Vagaro. THats a big problem . so to keep track i have to use cash as the ck out with everyone.

User Friendly For The Non-Techies

This is a really great app and especially great for those who aren't extremely tech savvy.

Pros

This app is so comprehensive and easy to use. Sends notifications to clients at no extra charge that are easily modified or switched off, changeable color settings, multiple date/time/ calendar settings, Saves client info such as formulas, products or any notes. Ability to create "pop up" reminders that can be tailored for each client. Can be accessed via desk top in case you lose your device.

Cons

It's not free but other than that there isn't much that I don't like. It might be nice if the font/type could be enlarged.
