Ourboffice and university has many paper method processes and systems. Laserfiche has made it prossible for those forms that require approvals and reviews quick, efficient, and easier to process. Gone are the days of physically submittkng a form or emailing a form. I like that workflows can be created, notification can be enabled, and history of form approval can be tracked. Our office uses laserfiche to submitnrequests for events and for our workers to report what they accomplished at work. Other forms that have been created allow for file uploading. We have a form that requires submittors to attach a program and or a map of their event. #### Cons I would say that in the creation of our forms i learned that laserfiche is limted on the appearance of the form. I like that it is very user friendly and has a useful search function that allows me to search by either the title of the document or the fields within the document. I can also add notes to each page of documents and specify which security level indicated gets to view them. #### Cons When I move a PDF into a Laserfiche file, I cannot combine it with another electronic file. I would have to manually print it out and scan it into the desired file in order for them to be a part of the same document. I like that they are focusing on a cloud solution that makes the application reachable to businesses of all sizes. The continued research and development along with the support make it a product that changes and supports with the times. #### Cons The cloud needs storage in Canada, ability to apply sequential numbers to documents that would act like a register. I'm not sure how many other places use it for record management, but it's a constant where I work, and I really don't have any complaints. I'm able to transfer files with minimal effort. The separate window that pops up allows me to enter information about the file, that will allow me to search documents without having to go through all of the files. We have been using Laserfiche for the last five years and simply love the product and the company. The product because it does all we ask of it (and can do more). It is secure, easy to use and highly configurable for almost any business. The company because they are so engaged with their customers. I foresee a long engagement (and expensive wedding). Seriously though, we love how Laserfiche and our VAR (Ricoh Canada) keep us up to date, informed and educated on all the many features of this product. I plan to spend the remainder of my career (15+ years until retirement) getting more and more proficient with all the things it can to to keep our valuable documents, safe, searchable, available and more. What's that...? It is so basic that it is almost gives you the feeling that you are opening a mere folder from Windows 99 #### Cons It does not support big documents. It gives error constantly while editing and logs you off. It is a terrible product for e discovery. The only function We need is to be able to see the documents.
