UDA ConstructionSuite offered by UDA Technologies provides a comprehensive solution to meet the needs of builders, remodelers, GCs, construction managers and real estate developers.

UDA ConstructionSuite combines construction estimating and project management functionalities into a single solution. The solution offers multiple features including estimating, scheduling, specification, and document management. The software gives users complete control of all the activities involved in a property construction cycle. An intuitive dashboard provides an overview of the entire site operations as well as helps to track business KPIs.

UDA ConstructionSuite can integrate with a number of other software systems including QuickBooks, MS Project, Primavera P3/P6, RSMeans, PlanSwift, and AutoCAD Revit. Users can also access UDA ConstructionSuite on their Android and iOS based mobile devices to access project summary from anywhere.

    Integrates financials. Portals for subs and clients. Web based for portability. Inexpensive compared to others.

    Cons

    I found UDA to be very difficult to learn. The user interface is not put together well, and the amount of options offered almost camouflage the ones you need.

    It gets expensive for smaller companies trying to integrate multiple users. We would love more users in the office to be able to use this software but it gets to expensive

    I like the ease of use, the details and the link to quickbooks. It is extremely important in my day to day work.

    Cons

    There were some bugs but they were fixed by remote helper. I couldn't be more thankful for the chat option.

    It integrates with Quickbooks and provides a great way to track clients, provide estimates, and keep clients informed about the progress of the job.

    Cons

    I don't know of any other than it offers so much customization that you need to really become familiar with all of the various options available to you.

    I like the amount of time it has saved me over the years all while creating good looking estimates and proposals.

    Cons

    It is a bit pricey for a small company but after the initial purchase sting wears off knowing that I will have it to use for years to come makes it worth it. It also might take a first time user a little while to learn how to use depending on what features they are looking for.

    Integration with QB. Ease of use. Easy to change between different options and the program transforms my estimate into a proposal in minutes.

    Cons

    Takes a little time to get to know. It does seem like the projects folder get's cluttered with old estimates . Probably just need to clean the folders up.

    This is a great product that helps save us a lot of time and money. I feel like I have an extra set of hands helping me with estimates and managing products. Worth every penny we spent on it.

    I would really recommend this software to anyone and their support is very efficient.

    Pros

    Its very easy to use especially the scheduling as it can be easily linked with MS Project schedules.Additionally the fact that you can link your estimate with your schedule and resources is a big bonus .

    Cons

    It doesn't have takeoff and its very difficult to do a take off from drawings straight into estimate as it doesn't support as many function and formulas like excel hence one has to do a takeoff in excel then manually input it again on estimate.Maybe in future they can see if there is a way to merge a drawing into the system and do your estimate straight from the drawing on the system

    I mainly use estimating. I very seldom use other features. Support has always been very helpful and quick with a response.

    I think the online version of punch list & to do's could be much better. Do not like that contacts can not be filed by company.

    Pros

    Building of the quotes/estimates and change orders works well. The program keeps updated with cost information nicely.

    Cons

    Transferring estimates to Quickbooks leaves something to be desired. As estimate is updated in UDA, the transferring to Quickbooks is inadequate. In order to get the updated version into Quickbooks, it created and entirely new estimate instead of just updating the curremt estimate.

    Clients love the detail, although I have to export to excel to add columns and formulas to do payment applications so we can mantain the same format as the estimate.

    Detail that I can provide to my clients, sellection of variety of columns, facility to use, multitasking and sharing facilities

    That I can not make payments applications using the same detail, meaning been able to add colums with formulas

    I really enjoy this software.

    Pros

    I use it for just about everything in the office, from estimating, to scheduling, to proposals, and to contract documents. It has such a wide variety of uses and I do not think I have even tapped into any of it. It is very handy and a great tool to use if you are a general contractor.

    Cons

    It can sometimes be slow when opening up documents and it is hard to learn at first, but after you get the hang of it, it is easy to learn new things.

    Integrates well with Quickbooks. I like that everything... estimating, scheduling, proposals and contracts, are easy to use and linked saving precious time. The software support is excellent: all very friendly and knowledgeable staff who provide timely response to issues.

    Well for starters. I think they spent most of the budget on the graphic user interface. very vibrant, user friendly and is very appealing to the eye in general. The fact that its integrate-able with QuickBooks is an OK plus for this application.

    Cons

    Absolutely hated the way it exported the data. I completely hate the fact that the excel spreadsheets export without formulas in the cells. also, the fact that you can't import a PDF into bid notes, even though i thought the main purpose of this application was to try to make it a single repository for all your information and data to be stored.

    This software is efficient. The Support people answers inmediatelly and has a good deal. It is easy to navigate space. Also, It lets to make estimating go very fast.
