Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I like the ease of use, the reports, and the ability to export information to Excel or Primavera. I especially like the ability to export to and from DOT bidding software like Expedite Bid.
  • The are talented individuals that have come together for the common good. I am very proud to use this great product all along knowing I have such great support.
  • Cons

  • This is especially frustrating on bids with child and grandchild bid items requiring reorganization. In resource setup registers, there is no way to sort.
  • There are no real complaints on my end. If there are ever any complaints, HCSS will listen and modify their software.

  • It is easy to start using the kickserv system, especially since they have such a phenomenal support staff.
  • The help desk is super responsive. The software is really quite intuitive, and the time to get it up and running with the help desk's help is only a few days.
  • Cons

  • Doing invoices, when you forget to select the purpose of the job (Labor, material, etc) you end up losing the information and then you have to go back to notes to put it back in.
  • Once a contact is in, I can't edit the contact information, which is a pain when we have multiple customers from the same overall client company.
