The Mobile App is great for staff members who have cards. The ease of uploading and then approving so accounting doesn't have to manually add is GREAT! Switching over from one software to another wasn't bad at all either! I love that I can add images and notes on the same line as well. The knowledge base is very helpful for any questions I may have and the feedback from both customers and Premier Staff on those issues is very helpful. Project Management side, the Job Dashboard is a GREAT FEATURE!!! It gives me the reports that I need and are so much easier to find through the project, no need to filter through dates and trades, nor projects. Premier allows us to open and close projects within a timely manner. We shopped around for software that could meet our needs for all staff and offered GREAT value. Definitely less expensive than other software companies that had less features to offer in my opinion. #### Cons There is a few cons to Premier, It tends to lag and log us out without auto saving our data. For accounting, It's a good and bad. Bad for me, error prone fast paced person. As I have to go back and revise many times for errors, as well on the reports it does show my errors. Also for Bills, it would be great to have the ability to pay from Posted invoice, not just when entering and posting an invoice. As well as ability to upload receipt on a payment run. I also would like to add that when running a payment run, it would be great to be able to adjust date if needed after searching vendors, not having to cancel/delete payment run and start over. Also for workflow management, It would be a GREAT feature to have for Delegated Approvers to have alerts set up when invoices are in URGENT need of approval and moving closer to due dates. #### Reasons for choosing Premier Construction Software Pricing as well as the functionality of what we needed in Accounting, Project Management, and billing. #### Reasons for switching to Premier Construction Software Accounting and Project Management. Onboarding and implementation was quick and smooth thanks to the team at Premier. Ease of use has been a big plus for our team. It’s helped us implement clear approval processes and gain real-time insights that impact the whole company. From an accounting perspective, Premier is fantastic. It allows us to properly align invoices with estimates, so costs hit the right buckets without relying on accounting to make judgment calls. The PO process tied to job estimates is one of my favorite features, it’s helped reduce errors and improve cost tracking across jobs. The look-up features are so handy, and I found myself navigating the software much faster than other systems We previously used Sage, and it was so cumbersome. Even finding or generating reports was difficult. With Premier, it's much easier - the search functionality makes it simple to look up reports. We’ve been using Premier for almost five years, and we’re still discovering new features—it's amazing how much it can do! Job costing is particularly important to me. Since we set up each house as a separate job, I’m constantly in there reviewing job costs, as are our project managers. One of my favorite features is how easily I can drill down into details—if I need to check an invoice, I just click, and it takes me right to it. The journal audits are another great tool for tracking where something went, and they’ve been incredibly helpful. At the end of the day, Premier really is the backbone of our business. During this transition, we’ve been pleased with the multi-company environment that allows you to easily switch from any screen and run consolidated financial statements by company. The software provides full job costing with multiple levels of detail, such as budget reports and tools, seamless integration between job cost and GL financials. It easily allows you to request and track approvals for invoices, contracts, PO’s and provides electronic signature as an additional benefit. Premier Excel permits you to pull live accounting data for endless custom report possibilities and allows you to attach files for all types of transactions to store in a folder system that’s easy to use. #### Cons It’s a learning curve on how everything works with some inconsistency between modules in terms of functionality and layout, however, the team provides outstanding customer service and support when it’s needed. Full service software Jonas is a full service software that includes original estimates, subcontract creation, change orders, progress billing, T&M billing, RFIs, data management, and much more. Everything is included under one roof so instead of having to bounce back and forth between multiple programs we can access almost everything we need in one place. 2. 6 weeks of amazing training! The training and implementation aspect of this software was excellent. The team is friendly, professional, helpful, and always willing to answer questions (and I asked a TON of questions) and help us figure out how to make Jonas work for our company. I really appreciated that they helped train us in best practices and showed us ways to improve upon our current processes. We loved having people to hold our hands and guide us through the process. 3. Organization I really love the flow of the software and how well it organizes our jobs in an easy to use system. It's quite robust and takes time to learn, but once we're up and running I know we will be so grateful to be able to perform so many operations with the click of a button. No more hunting down important info in emails, printed documents, or computer files. We'll be able to access so much information in a short amount of time. #### Cons Learning anything new takes time and effort. There was definitely a lot to learn but Jonas emails us all of the training videos so we can access them at any time and there's a ton of support once we Go Live. We're a small team, so it felt like a lot of work, but that's normal with any new software implementation. If you have a small amount of employees, you'll really need to manage your work hours well so you can continue running your business and handle all of the training and implementation. Most of it I haven't begun to use yet but slowly I am learning more of it. The Premier help team is critically important in helping me learn the skills I want and need when I want them. I also really like how Premier won't allow information to be entered without all the required information. Makes it very easy to not miss critical details. #### Cons I found the learning curve steep, especially with respect to how the program "thinks". It's intuitive and flexible which makes day to day tasks much easier. We reviewed multiple options, but Jonas was the one best suited to our needs. #### Cons Reports. The boxed reports are great, but don't always provide what we need so we build a lot of custom reports with the Excel-Add-In. The issue with that is that not all the fields in the database are available in the data downloads which often results in having to link several sheets in order to get the information we require. #### Reasons for choosing Premier Construction Software From the 3-4 options that we evaluated, Jonas was the option that provided what we needed within our budget. Other packages had a lot of features we didn't need, but there wasn't an option to purchase without them. When work/construction was scarce for our company, you took the time to help us come up with a payment plan. The reporting is amazing! You have made a lot of changes in regards to being “user friendly” AKA the ability to delete. Keep this going! Pending AP Invoice Report is also a great addition. I am grateful for your monthly webinars followed by the taped session to refer back to. Dashboard is fresh…love it! #### Cons On reporting such as the financial statement report we see -#’s different then we are accustom to. When the number is negative it shows in positive and when positive it shows in negative (with bracket). Can that be reversed? Since the new update I have posted some items and they don’t show up on other tabs unless I logout and back in (even after refresh) this has happened 3 times. When a change order is rejected its unable to be modified.
