Best Estimate Pro is designed for the construction firm that wants to add automation to their business. The software excels at commercial, residential and industrial projects. The system has a unique pricing model to help both large and small construction firms be able to afford their software.
The software is delivered as an online Network version with a desktop client, with access for multiple users anywhere they have a network connection; data can even be accessed from Android phones. The pay-as-you-go option is only around $50 per estimate, which makes Best Estimate Pro an attractive option for firms on a budget. What’s more, the software comes without a contract so buyers can avoid vendor lock-in. Larger organizations have access to unlimited plans with a monthly pricing model or they can pay annually at a discounted rate.
The software is geared toward the residential, commercial and industrial contractor working in the electrical and teledata trades. The estimating application includes a user-friendly interface, a proposal generator and visual assemblies. Change orders and purchase orders are both generated after all of the information has been input into the system. The software also comes complete with thousands of section, assembly and part templates to make the estimating process even simpler. To help with accounting needs, the software integrates with QuickBooks.
We think this software is best suited for companies that are doing between $1 and $20 million per year. The software is a great value for its price and also includes technical support and training.

Database is set up out of the box and can be modified from there. Several package options. Cloud based system doesn't need backup protection.
Not as many features as the "big boys". The takeoff isn't as intuitive as it could be. No option for integration with supplier database.
