Progress and Activity Visualisation Tool - High Rise tower project in Dubai

PROS

Site engineers are daily updating the work status of each activity happening at site whilst using their mobile phones. This is done by simply scanning QR codes applied in each room of the project. Sablono visualizes this then in 2D plans or elevations to show in one quick overview the progress. This helped the project a lot, to quickly understand, live, where we are at any specific moment. We also managed to automatically update our Baseline Program by linking the progress input from Sablono. This generated a huge time, and therefore also staff cost, improvement.

CONS

Flexibility and implementation of practical changes due to site conditions remain challenging. Connectivity to- and from 3th party softwares.

Mount Pleasant Project - great feed back

The Sablono team is very approachable and supportive. They are welcome to your project set up and also are there to propose new ideas and another vision of workflow, exchange with the site teams and subcontractors. I recommend the use of Sablono on project sites to follow project, cost valuations, overall performance review.

PROS

Software is very user friendly , easy to project set up and very powerful. Users and administrators do not need training , it is straight forward. Everybody can be provided access to the platform with the relevant level of access. Perfect tool to ensure Work Inspection are issued on time and as per progress. Software allows for easier and more transparent valuations.

CONS

For residential and flats the tool scheduling and generating look ahead did not really work because of the way we work per floor and not per single flat to launch a trade. Needs more of an automatic approach when trying to generate look ahead

Control y seguimiento

Al momento de certificar avances es mas fácil revisarlos a través de la plataforma. Disminuimos el uso de papel con la aplicacion de listas QA. Podemos tener el historial de tareas con la fecha y hora de lo acontecido, y poder realizar un analisis para tener LECCIONES APRENDIDAS

PROS

Las características mas impactantes fueron mirar las tareas por unidad y no en un global por piso, debido a que es una forma de control totalmente nueva en mi país ( PARAGUAY) la implementación no fue tan fácil inicialmente en nuestro primer edificio de la mano de sablono, pero sabiendo el potencial que podría tener para nosotros, decidimos seguir para otras 3 construcciones, siendo así la 2da. experiencia con la plataforma mucho mas fácil, aprendiendo de las dificultades del primer edificio. La visualización 2D seria una de mis características preferidas para dar una vistazo rápido de como estamos en obra. Los nuevos filtros aplicados por pisos y contratistas son de gran ayuda para verificar los pasos de contratistas.

CONS

Posiblemente algunas características de programación podrían ser mas fáciles, debido a mi costumbre de usar el MICROSOFT PROJECT me dificulta un poco mas el método de programación de dependencias entre tareas.

Easy to use software platform which make the complicated; simple

PROS

The ability to manage time, cost and quality across a projects in a granular way and the integration the platform provides between the 3 objectives. This makes even the most complex projects more manageable. Its incredibly user-friendly meaning anyone can use the platform - something which is often overlooked in technology implementation in the construction industry.

CONS

Would ideally like to see future integrations with other internal software in the future

I've really enjoyed learning to use Sablono, the more you learn the more apparent the power and capability of the app becomes. The customer support is second to none, the Sablono team are alway on hand to offer support and assistance with any operational issues.

PROS

I find the functionality of Sablono amazing. It's easy to use and can be used for every aspect of our contractual work. It allows me to make sure units are ready for my staff before proceeding with decorations, as well as post decoration snagging. It also allows me to easily report any issue before, during or after performing a task, and produce a full plot by plot report for presentation to clients.

CONS

Sometimes lose signal using the mobile app.

Der Anwendungsbereich, Digitalisierung, Transparenz und Ablaufoptimierung am Bau, ist eine deutliche Schwachstelle und braucht innovative Lösungen wie Sablono. Der Aufbau der Plattform ist leicht verständlich und gut nachvollziehbar.

CONS

Die Anwendbarkeit für Sanierungsvorhaben ist auch möglich, jedoch etwas komplizierter im Aufbau der Prozessabläufe.
