  • Pros

  • It makes it so easy to set up volunteering events in the system and organize fun volunteering events for employee engagement.
  • We love that our donors are able to use Benevity as their third-party funds processing platform. It is easy to log into and pull reports.
  • Cons

  • I am not even sure if they are the only company in there industry, but they need some competition. I wouldn't be shocked if someone is going to prison from Benevity at some point.
  • It was extremely difficult to set up and customer service was lacking.

  • Plus, Submittable was by far the most affordable solution and offered the best value for money in our opinion.
  • This software is easy to understand, easy to deploy, and intuitive for guest users who help us to evaluate the submissions that we receive.
  • Cons

  • I only fear is when requesting assistance and I receive a auto reply email stating it will take about 1 or 2 days for a response turn around that is entirely too long so I call for service.
  • I use a pen name myself, and the absence of this feature has caused me some trouble.
