It is initiative and the learning curve was not super steep. It is flexible - It has been able to handle all of the tasks I've thrown at it. It is clever - it is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into this service - it ticks all of the boxes. When I can't figure something out, the support staff are very responsive and helpful. It's incredibly capable and saved me a ton of time with data input. The ability to also instruct the AI is critical in how much I enjoyed using it. I think that's what Parseur has above #### Cons For an individual, the price is a little steep. It would also be nice to be able to buy one-off credits to finish up a project that might be above your monthly page count. #### Reasons for choosing Parseur It was much better and faster than any other product I tried #### Vendor response Thanks Kyndall, and "escape from handwritten data entry" might be our favourite review title yet! I would watch the movie. And thanks for the honest feedback! On price, fair, Parseur is really built for SMBs and teams, so for a solo user it can feel a touch steep, no argument. On finishing a project that spills over your monthly quota: we do not do one-off credits, but there is something that solves the same problem, an early auto-renew option. Switch it on and if you hit your quota before the period ends, Parseur renews the same plan early so you can keep going without interruption. We found it simpler than top ups in practice. It’s really easy to get started. Drop and go. #### Cons A little pricey, it seems on the high end compared to other ones. #### Vendor response Thanks Lee! On the price, that is fair to raise, we are not the cheapest, and we would rather earn the cost than pretend it away. The gap usually comes down to accuracy: time lost fixing wrong extractions from a cheaper tool tends to cost more than the difference in subscription. So far, the 500 record cap is still in place. The document list is paginated and 500 per page is the current ceiling, mostly to keep that screen fast and responsive. Going higher is technically doable but it has not been a priority over performance so far. It is noted though, and feedback like yours is exactly what moves these things up the list. No incentive was offered Having thousands of email orders requiring parsing, unknowingly having slight variation in layouts which causes issues with parsing software, Parseur was able to quickly process the majority then keep me up to date with others that required template variations. Having tried other parsing software prior to this where these apps only indicated failed emails that couldn't be parsed at the end of a run with no further help, making it an expensive subscription, time-consuming and frustrating ordeal. Parseur was the answer from the start and I wish I had discovered it initially. The guys that run the live support desk are the founders and programmers. Their feedback has always been prompt, accurate, concise and offered alternative solutions and ways around the support request. They understand customer support and value their customers. What is nice is that they follow up with the solved issue personally at a later date to see how it has worked out, which is a really nice touch. As far as I am concerned, they provide the template for any application customer support line. Great work guys. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The simple layout of the app with logical steps and instructions. But the most valuable feature is the ability for the app to advise on which emails have failed to be processed, call them out and allow for new templates to be created solving the issue. This is such a time-saving feature that also takes away the frustration when bulk emails are expected to pass but don't due to some minor layout discrepancy that has not been picked up when initially reviewed manually. #### Cons The only very minor point is the lack of instructions on all of the features and functionality past the standard logical use. If like me, you see more potential uses for the app once the basic setup has been completed, there is a lack of explanation of the other advanced checkboxes and required function code examples, etc. The support is excellent so not a problem but it would be nice for an in-depth helpdesk where the difference in timezone feedback is an issue. #### Reasons for switching to Parseur Parserr software functionality was poor and the support, even though was offered, was nonexistent. After weeks of self trialing and errors trying to solve the parsing issues with their support only answering 1 of every 5 support requests and followups (and then that was only partly addressed), I gave up and researched Parseur. #### Vendor response Thoughtful review Phil, thank you for taking the time to write it! Agreed that some of our features were lacking proper documentation at the time: plenty of guidance for the basics, less for the advanced bits once you start pushing the app further. We have doubled down on that since. There is a much deeper documentation library now at https://help.parseur.com, plus a chatbot trained on all of it that can answer minute functionality questions 24/7, no waiting on timezones. The click and drag feature is intuitive and easy to use. The ability to manipulate fields directly in source HTML is even better. I like how I can generate new inboxes in a single click and immediately start forwarding emails/creating templates. I like how Parseur intuits which template will apply to a new document and applies it automatically. And the Parseur Zapier integration is a life-saver for a low-code founder like myself. And the API is absolutely essential for integrating with my database. #### Cons I use the tables feature a lot to extract data from repeating elements, and often times the default cell and row separators generated by Parseur are a little too liberal with their constraints. To work around this, I go into the row and cell separators myself and manually set them. Oftentimes this means scanning through bricks of HTML, but I have been eternally grateful to the Parseur team, who is always willing to answer my questions and help me figure out how to correctly define those separators to get the results I'm looking for. #### Reasons for choosing Parseur Parseur offers an order of magnitude more control and visibility into the parsing process. Their API options, user-friendly interface, and customer support won my business in the end. #### Vendor response Thanks Catherine, this is a brilliantly specific bit of feedback. Wrangling row and cell separators by hand in the HTML was a real chore in text templates, no argument there. Now in 2026, the AI engine takes that off your plate entirely: point it at a document with repeating rows and it extracts the table without you defining a single separator. The HTML spelunking you described is no longer needed. I’ve tried dozens of AI model document parsing programs and so far this is the best one I’ve seen by far. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 3/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros I love how intuitive the AI model is and how well it is understanding what I’m looking to do. It even read handwritten checks and parsed them as line items. #### Cons The document to template to sample to etc process is a bit confusing. You have to upload a doc, process it, then create a template. But then that removes the ability to download the data from that doc which means you have to upload another doc which uses credits. And the AI is different than the template which has to be enabled or disabled if you’re wanting to use the Fields model. Maybe I’m just confused while using it but there are a few too many steps in that process for me. #### Vendor response Thanks James, and being the best of dozens you have tried is high praise! Let me untangle the process a bit, because some of it is smoother than it looked. Using a document as a template sample does not lock you out of its data or mean you have to re upload it and spend another credit, the data stays available. And templates versus AI is not an either or you have to toggle: in a single mailbox Parseur tries to match a document to your existing templates first, then automatically falls back to the AI engine if none fit. So the two work together rather than competing. The website is very polished and allows you to automatically extract data into an excel file which cuts down time. I also liked how the free plan is available to try out the software. #### Cons It seems less trainable than competitior softwares where it relies more on AI than allowing you to make a custom software. However I have not delved too deep into it yet so that feature may be available. #### Vendor response Thanks Michelle! For us, needing no upfront training is a deliberate design choice, not a gap. Plenty of competitors make you upload and annotate piles of documents before you can extract anything, and that is a lot of wasted effort for results our AI gives you out of the box. You still get control through AI instructions to shape exactly what it extracts. If you ever hit a recurring issue that instructions cannot solve, please tell our support team, that is exactly the kind of thing we want to hear and improve on. Zapier parser app does not have the ability to use different templates to keep up with the inconsistent email formats i was receiving. I'm using Zapier to pull the customer information into my CRM and on a google spreadsheet. I'm so happy i found Parseur it allows you to build unlimited template styles to follow every type of email i get. Once these are set i get exactly the correct information i want parsed everytime!!!! Which i am so pumped about because the last app i was using was sending the wrong data almost 80% of the time and i have to manually fix it on my end. On top of all that the Chat box on their site is your best friend, these guys are super helpful to getting me set up.
