Very user friendly and the the technical support is very good and quick.

There are no benefits, only disadvantages. Axia, which we used previously, was a very old system but was better than Quill.

The reporting could be a lot better and would be good to have drill down features.

This is the worst case management system I have ever had to use. It is slow, cumbersome and unreliable.

It is a system that works fine till it comes across it’s occasional hiccup.

It all feels tailored to us and our needs rather than using software designed for someone else that doesn't quite fit. The support team are great too.

Easy control for the admin to monitor and authorise all transactions. Good initial training provided by the provider.

The product is simple and effective at a basic level and for a small outfit, ideal.

I cannot rate Quill and their team highly enough. I have worked in large international law firms for 20+ years and this is the most user-friendly, effective, reliable system I have ever used.

We also use the cashier service and our nominated contact does an amazing job to keep us on track and on time with our postings and reconciliations.

Best Practice and Document Management System and Support in 25 Years.

The system is user friendly with a dedicated accounts manager always available to deal with any queries. We strongly recommend it to other practices.

The main benefit to us as been making the transition to going paperless not just a possibility, but a success that has led to other efficiencies.

The fields can be limited and not always relevant to the case.

Pulling reports off is hard to find maybe a user issue.

Easy to use, good customer service. Been using ir for a very long time now and everyone is used to the features on quill.

There's the odd quirk from time to time but Quill work quickly to sort these out.

Still waiting for features to be set up as you cannot move to next step until step one is complete. Very rigid software and no flexibility as compared to cloud based softwires.

Accounting and document management are very easy to use, to train out to staff and the reporting makes practice management straightforward.

Unable to unlink from a case without linking to another case. Heading in E-chits will show a case even when the transaction has no link to the case.

Customer Support sometimes doesn't know how to fix problem, so it's a try this, try that scenario which is time consuming and annoying. Sometimes it fixes the problem, sometimes it doesn't.

Billing descriptors are limited so you have to generalize to find what fits.

Love how it auto populates my documents and keeps my matters all in one place.

Users should not have to subscribe to eBilling to accommodate these invoicing requirements. Very disappointed and on the  cusp of changing software providers.

There is clearly problem with leadership which causes a strict adherence to an ineffective set of policies. Off-shore outsourcing of Professional Services.

Too many to list:  tiny font, each additional feature is an upgrade in cost, limited reporting, customer service is a nightmare.

We remain with ProLaw because it is highly customizable and offers the best value for a firm our size.

Our billing is still not working correctly, randomly assigning incorrect rates to matters. Customer service is lousy and doesn't care.

It is very slow and can sometimes freeze. This happens when I have too many cases open, which is understandable, but it can get annoying.

Navigation, utility, lack of compatibility / comparability restrictions, numerous bugs / errors that have yet to be addressed.

It was server based - so nobody could login remotely without VPN- that is a silly inconvenience at this point in 2020.

Setting up the document generators is difficult and not always easy to edit. It also times out a lot and loses connection.

Coming from large corporations it was amazing to me to find that there are companies  utilizing multiple non-integrated platforms to run their business.

Overall software is an utter shambles of committee designed modules that integrate poorly,  bugs and errors are numerous and fixes take forever.

They will likely sell you the wrong version initially, etc. If you are a new user, a migrating user, just expect to have lots of headaches in the beginning.

Great vision for a converged legal platform, but clearly under-resourced.

Easy to use and functionality is superb. The interface is easy to read, making it easy to use.

This program is so much better than our prior software. We are capturing more hours and collecting more money.

I have nothing against West generally. I just have over 20 years of first-hand knowledge of how West negatively affecting this otherwise amazing product.

The best thing about prolaw was the ability to link client files on one main server that can be accessed by multiple users.

It did not play well with others like Word, Excell and Outlook. I had a very difficult time transferring the files over to a new system and the customer service was very poor.

There is a real problem with policy over practice at ProLaw. Any deviation from Standard Operating Procedure is a nightmare.

I have used Prolaw for over 20 years. In the beginning (pre-West), it was the most amazing product on the market with the most amazing customer service, for small to mid-sized firms.

The front office functionality is so robust I wouldn't even know where to start. You own it the software license which is a huge advantage to monthly subscriptions.

I like that the addresses and CMS were easily used to mail merge and to do newsletters. The invoicing was also super easy to use and you are able to capture billable time easily.
