There is a metal simulation portion of the software that is very useful for bending and shaping metal components with decent realism.

Ease of use ability to export data for machining.

It is a great product been using it for years. Very functional and powerful.

Alibre Design is reasonable mechanical CAD. Exports to STP, SLT, and IGS have all been good and are easy to generate.

Overall, it is very easy to use, and it works great.

We build custom camera/laser inspection systems for manufacturers to do quality control. It has worked great for our needs so far.

There is no way to duplicate a drawing using a different configuration of the same part/assembly.

I have a limited budget and although the scripts/automation of some operations found in more up scale products are useful and convenient they are also expensive.

CAD is brilliant to use. Very intuitive software.

And my largest gripe are that the user manual is pathetic, and their website is even worse when it comes to understanding featuresbor troubleshooting.

We use it to make 3D models and at times 2D drawings with this tool. We are happy with the tool.

In future  I would like to integrate with CAM software, as well as FEM software in future.

Software bugs cause a lot of frustration but you get what you pay for here.

The perpetual license and not having to license it through the cloud, it just works. It is just a great piece of intuitive CAD software that is easy to use and teach.

From then on, updates and/or revisions of a part for manufacturing are so simple, it is amazing. I literally had a lot of fun learning Alibre Design Professional.

Another awesome feature is the sheet metal parts that can be created with Alibre. Then there is also the paper space mode where I am able to create detailed drawings for ordering or customer requests.

I really like the ability to not only create individual parts, but to have the assembly capabilities.

I used to use it in medical device R&D work, now I use it to design 3D printed art objects. I also like that it is not a subscription.

I have used Alibre Design in its most capable version since the very early 2000's and find it quite adequate for my needs.

Then an update arrived and ruined the experience. I wrote to rep was on my case almost immediately.

It intuitive to use and there are plenty of tutorials and help through the knowledge base to get up the learning curve on features such as sheet metal parts.

With this in mind, Alibre Design was a perfect fit on a tight budget.

I bought this product years ago before it was sold to geomagic. The customer support was always there when needed, which was no often at all due to the softwares excellent functionality.

The new versions seem to be becoming more feature rich allowing me to do more things at an easier and fast rate. The price is wonderful and allowing for more progress through management is important.

The software was inexpensive and was very easy to learn. Granted, there was some ramp-up to gain proficiency, but it took place very quickly.

Easy to use variety of tools for mechanical design and documenting.

Also helpful during this process was Alibre's customer support team. They were easy to get hold of, and were able to work with us when we got stuck along the way.

Modeling errors are often ambiguous. Stability has occasionally been an issue, especially with more complicated geometries.

Ease of use, good learning curve, great support.

A couple of times over the years, I've had to completely scrap a design are restart when the software would crash repeatedly.

What I like most about these Software it user friendly and front ends are easy to interact with it.

I have found it difficult to find the tools I need to use within the program. Probably because there are so many and there is more than one place  where a particular function is located.

It's been very good - have designed hundreds of products with it.

Overall my experience with Alibre Design is excellent. It is an affordable and capable mechanical design tool that I intend to keep using for the foreseeable future.

We are using Pylon to provide our clients with custom solar proposals. The system is easy to use and clients can clearly see how they will benefit from their solar investment.

Information and support readily available and the option to pay per use suits a smaller operator like myself perfectly compared to others.

I struggle with setting up layouts & using the different features of the program.

Its has been very good i think its well priced and great professional easy to deliver proposal to the customer and like there is no ongoing subscirptions.

You can’t delete jobs when they get started by accident.

The only map is not up to date as someplace on the map shows empty land where another similar app shows the property on land.
