Excellent company and excellent product
Makes things work so much better for us! There are small issues but we work through them. Nothing is perfect and for the price point this is phenomenally the best on the market.
PROSAbsolutely great system and easily adaptable to service companies. They are constantly adding features and functions and I hate to give only 4 stars on that but there are a few things that we would like to have but it doesn't incorporate. They are ALWAYS open to listening and I have actually had some of my ideas incorporated into the program. If I could give 10 stars on the customer service and value for the money I absolutely would. It is a simple program to use once you play with it for a bit. They are always updating which is awesome always new functionality available!
CONSI don't like the fact that Visits and Jobs are treated separately with no way to combine them. I wish that you could set this up and for us, just delete the visit altogether because for us a Job is a Visit. They are always 1 to 1 ratio for us. It makes some of the scheduling frustrating because you can schedule a job but not have a visit scheduled. I can completely see how other companies need the ability for multiple visits on 1 job though. Would like to see compulsory custom fields so you don't forget to fill out important data on quotes or invoices. This is a big one, if you don't use the Stripe Jobber Payments then you cannot post a refund to a clients account. You basically have to do a work around and then post a negative invoice. It is very frustrating for a basic accounting function. We often have customers place deposits or pay in advance and they don't use their full deposit for our service. We have to issue a refund and it is a real pain to do.

Best Software company
What I most like about jobber is the ease of control and the client portal, my clients love being able to go in to their each unique portal and check on reoccurring jobs and upcoming visits.
CONSWhat I most dis like about jobber is the incoiving because i sometimes have to do it twice but this is not that big of a deal as i am automating everything.

It was in budget at the time.

I made the switch a few years ago from yardbook because as my company grows I need to adopt to other software's as my company expands and elaborates into other ventures.

HVAC Business Not Impressed With This Product Or Its Support
Very poor. Not impressed with the program or the support.
PROSThe program overall is very basic and easy to use for non-tech savy folks.
CONSInvoicing and estimates are a mess. The online portal for customers to view and pay invoices and estimates is extremely confusing and will cause a lot of headaches. Purchase order tracking / history records are confusing and was not ideal to our business. We also had problems with caretakers who receive bills for multiple locations / customers that they take care off. When sending invoices or estimates to these property management companies, this system groups invoices together so on multiple occasions, a customer would send us a check for their invoice and others out of confusion. Brought these issues up to the support team of Jobber and asked to cancel and refund, they would not budge one bit. They don't seem to care if you have any issues after you sign up.

A great application overall. It does the job and it is competing in the market.

Such a lifesaver!!
The customer service is the real winner in this company. They will always go above and beyond to get things figured out for you no matter what it is.
PROS1. Having our own number when we were on the grow plan was fantastic. 2. Two way texts and appt confirmations3. Route scheduling4. Being able to design your own work orders and invoices with adding your own fields.
CONSThe fact that we love having all the features of the grow plan but we are a two person company and cannot see paying that much for it. We should be able to add on features.

CONSReports are not great. I would like to see better receivables reports, Bette time keeping reports, and customizations.

For the most part Jobber is a good software and having used other products doing the same thing I still prefer Jobber to others.
PROSWe use jobber because as a scheduler I can map the day of stops for my techs and see what location in the City they are working. I also liked that it integrates with payments.
CONSI found the linking with QuickBooks to not be a very functional feature for us as deposits would double in my QuickBooks once I uploaded the invoice. I no longer sync, also my techs have expressed frustration after a update with the mobile app not functioning as well as it used to for notes added to the file for a client.

Absolutely necessary for any small business in the trades
We highly recommend this service program to everyone that we know in the trades. Not only is it a Canadian based company, the customer support has been superior. When shopping around, Jobbers representatives actually listened to our needs & helped us find a program that fit what we would actually use. Other companies were just show boating & just tried to upsell us to their most expensive packages. We really appreciate the care & dedication Jobbers team takes to ensure their customers are well taken care of, & that the program runs as efficiently as possible.
PROSWe love the ease of use, the convenience of all the features & the customer support from their team can’t be beat!
CONSThe only complaint we face would be the lag in some services, however, it’s such a small inconvenience. The pros definitely outweigh that small annoyance.

Jobber manages and schedules very easily
Jobber has become an indispensable tool for our company. It facilitates route planning and scheduling. It allows all our members to visualize the work to be performed.... with short, medium and long term deadlines, in order to plan accordingly. The scheduling function simplifies the task of entering repetitive jobs quickly and easily. We also rely on reminder e-mails sent by the customer as an important form of communication with our customers.
PROSIt is extremely helpful to look at a customer's history and view upcoming visits along with work performed. The customer email reminders are helpful to our customers as it helps them know when we are coming and is an important touch point. Making my email personal was simple. The recurring work feature was the primary reason we chose Jobber. There is a lot of flexibility in scheduling recurring work. I like that I have the option to select the frequency (monthly, weekly or daily), plus a specific date or day of the week/month.
CONSJobber has links to some third party payment processors, but is not able to enable recurring payments with them. This would be helpful.

Jobber - MY Business OSS
My overall experience with Jobber has been quite positive as it helps me immensely run my business. It is my OSS today. It assigns and tracks all work requests, quotes, jobs and tasks. It also does our invoicing and passes data nicely to Quickbooks for great financial reporting. I just wish I had more robust reporting features with it.
PROSHaving a system that can be quickly and easily implemented and used by small business that incorporates features including integrates that addresses 'quote to cash' work flow was essential. Jobber does the job nicely, quickly, easily and is quite affordable for any small business. It integrates nicely with financial systems such as QuickBooks too.
CONSReporting is weak with the version I currently have. There are some standard reports that provide some fair data qualities but to customize reports using custom fields or job fields is quite weak. Exporting any report to Excel does not work well. I dont get the attachment file when attempting.
Reason for choosing Jobber
Workflow was stronger with Jobber for our business needs to support landscaping, homewatch, pool and storm readiness services on a single converged platform. However, we did keep Quickbooks for financial tracking and reporting.
Reasons for switching to Jobber
QRIDIT did integrate with other systems and processes supporting all of our business products. It was awkward in supporting multiple consumer services. It struggle to offer us a converged business system.

Get you in and keep your money and don't honor trial

PROSThe customer service people were great. The scheduling and time sheet function was quite easy to manage.
CONSI began using the trial then I receive a call from one of there team and we go over the functions of the product. I asked them about the estimating process and if I could have primary headers and then sub categories and he said yes in the description section. The problem is there is no pricing function in the description area for estimating your job. So I call and they customer service says oh it won't do that it will all have to be entered in per line to do it that way. I then ask is there a way to have services cost not show on the final estimate and it does, but if you add any products that would be bought from a store those items also would end up not showing with a price. So your bid would end up as a sub total with everything combined or you have to show everything to get it to show. Now I have just given a free pass to the owners to pass my bid around to see what I charge per line item. I called them to address this 5 days after signing up based on sales persons information and when I call them to get a refund of the $104 I paid. I asked if I could speak to billing and oh guess what billing doesn't have a phone. So I asked for them to speak with them and I get told since I paid the money to get the discount to move out of the trial and have an account I don't qualify for the 14 day guarantee. Also, the job form doesn't go along with the job from day to day. It resets to a new job form for each day. So you have to go back find the job in schedule and review there.

Jobber fits most needs for service/field type scheduling work
Great experience and would recommend it for most companies who utilize field/service type staff that requires trips to properties. Very easy to use for office staff and mostly easy to use for field staff.
PROS- Easy to deploy - Syncs with Quickbooks - Many views to view work with filtering options - Ability to limit worker's capabilities - Ability to allow customers to request work - Ability to send quotes/invoices (though we used QB for this) - Scheduling was a breeze
CONS- Phone app was not as intuitive as I liked from a UX/UI standpoint, but we overcame that hurdle - Recurring jobs can be difficult to delete and when you have many it can cause more harm than good. It is built more for one-off jobs currently in my opinion.

The features fit our needs better and the UX/UI seemed to be better.

Jobber - a must have company working in the field
Jobber is at the heart of the business. Everyone know where to look for information; administration, scheduling, field service, accounts and customers. We have used it for 7 years and would recommend it without fail for any business running field operations.
PROSJob recording is so easy - doing this properly means that the rest of the workflow becomes a breeze. The calendar makes it simple to review and update the workload dynamically. Quotes and Invoicing are no longer a chore! During invoicing, standard charges can be applied via dropdowns to speed up entry. Manual entry is just as easy. And the relevant charges are automatically applied. I then just press the button and it is emailed to my customer! The Client Hub lets the customer look at activity online and saves us time answering customer queries. It also makes us look good - an efficient company, well organised and customer focussed.
CONSWhenever I have been faced with having a feature in the software, either I email the support team or someone has beaten me to it and the feature comes out in one of the releases of software. So, I have no 'cons' for the software. It works perfectly for the way I work rather than me having to adapt my business to work with it!
