Putting things in writing can do away with any misunderstanding there may be when discussing on the phone with the person handling complaint.

If GovPilot cannot detect the location, the resident is unable to move forward with logging in a complaint.

This software can minimize the amount of foot traffic and offers the convenience to our constituents of applying for a wide number of permits online in the comfort of their own office or home.

As with any new system, the start-up was a bit frustrating working out kinks etc.

Ease of use for both employees and residents using the program. Good communication tool as linked to our website.

Currently use a permitting software that does not have this capability and it's very restrictive. GIS mapping is a huge benefit also.

The staff has been amazing and extremely helpful. They make you feel like you are there only customer and every issue large or small is handled and resolved promptly.

It is very easy to use for both ends, constituents and administrative.

Our current system is incredibly restrictive and difficult or impossible to use certain features without getting our IT department or the software company itself involved.

We have missing addresses/Block and Lots  in the public  map database they use. Missing properties must be added individually, which is tedious.

Sometimes there are system bugs that put roadblocks in the workflow, but customer service is quick to assess and mitigate the problem.

Replacing legacy systems and processes were a breeze thanks to GovPilot's dedicated customer service team.

The customer service has to be the most impressing. From training our staff, to always answering emails with assistance, we have truly appreciated the level of service.

Some areas are difficult to navigate --you have to make some assumptions not mentioned in the instruction manual.

I feel that the user interface and it being web based are the two biggest plusses for the software. I have the ability to work on the files from anywhere which is great.

I like the fact that users can make changes on their own, view their historical data, and use dashboards for analysis while submitting their budget.

Being able to easily extract datasets from Tyler was key to project success.

At first you trust the company. As time goes by you lose faith in the company itself (not reliable and need to do things yourself) I get a feeling I know more of the software than the workers there.

The project team also was careful to explore many of the other compelling features of OpenGov, even if deploying those will come in this year.

In addition,  with their help the City was able to get the 2021 budget done in record time with high user acceptance from department heads.

I know that whenever there is a question or issue, OpenGov will be there to help support and problem-solve.

Worked well for communicating budget information to Finance Commissioners and provides easy access to the public.

The time saved and the overall ease of producing information are major benefits from using OpenGov.
