  • Pros

  • Very good experience with Mindbody, it helps me stay in shape and I love all dance classes. It always worked very well for me on my pc, for now I did not use it on another device.
  • The product has a gazillion different features and loves to expand its offering into new industries. They give you access to everything via a robust API and good reporting.
  • I think the app is easy to use, clean, and simple. I really like the "favorites" section because it makes the process very easy.
  • Cons

  • This system is a constant source of grief. It double charges clients all the time, they say they are "trying" to get it to stop, meanwhile I get a dozen furious calls a week from clients who complain.
  • It was the worst experience, afther that company, I had hired another that did the programming in 2 days and I was using it in 3 days at the 50% of the cost.
  • Besides the horrible service they have not kept up with technology.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this software. I used another very un-user friendly before finding Studio Director and I couldn't be more thankful.
  • I also love that your customer service takes feedback and requests from me and other studios and is continually improving to better serve our needs.
  • Their customer service is some of the best I, personally, have ever received (Pam is awesome!). They respond quickly to any questions we have and their staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
  • Cons

  • It is too expensive especially when charged extra by the Studio Director.
  • Inability to apply SPLIT payments with Autopay feature. Inability to select ACTIVE, INACTIVE, or PROSPECT for each family/student (which results in paying for inactive students).
  • The only worry with that would be missing someone, and it creates extra work- which was what we were trying to avoid in using TSD.
