It requires manual setup for GNU compiler. It also doesn't have dark-theme which is unacceptable.

I can say for shore that I am pleased with Code::Blocks and all functions it has to offer.

Code::Blocks looks out dated and a new interface would be refreshing. Code::Blocks does not have an up-to-date linter to highlight wrong code and suggest most relevant code.

It's an excellent tool for programmers at both the novice and advanced levels thanks to its straightforward design, support for numerous programming languages, and potent features.

One of the best things with this IDE is that it does not require PC or Laptop with high specification, it can basically run on anything these days.

A very easy to use IdE with a free access makes it the best choice for c/c++ programmers and provide great features that makes the user experience very smooth.

As a student pursuing a degree in CS at the college level, I found Code::Blocks to be a useful and user-friendly IDE for my programming projects. It had a good interface and was easy to navigate.

The software itself its so  good for people that are new to a program language and how to code, I like it so much when I first started coding, it offers so much tools and its very simple.

C::B is comparatively old to others and thus lacks some features which are mainstream in its counterparts. It also faces some problems in terms of spell checker and profile template.

The product does the basic job yeah You can have color themes on different code syntaxes, compilation is there and the other fundamental things, like a debug/output window.

Spyder is an excellent tool for the development and debugging of short sections of code. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, especially as it is free.

This is a very dynamic software for Python - specially great for beginners.

A year later, I am comfortable writing Python. I like that you can select from several different layouts and that there is the ability to run code in chunks, which makes debugging easier.

I just stopped using it because I switched to another language.

There is a lot of lag at points. Compared to IDE's which use your browser to run, Spyder lags a lot sometimes.

One of the biggest drawbacks of Spyder is that it limited to Python programming language only.

Sometimes it gets slow when there are too many variables in the workspace. Also sometimes I get unexplainable error messages when I run it from command line.

It lags sometimes, perhaps because of different environments. Other than that no major problems.

You can write any python language you want. Especially when you write variable windows and code, it's nice that the help window opens and prints the documentation of the function.

Spyder makes Python coding fun and easy. It helps me write code better and lets me see how my code changes things.

Its pre-installed scientific libraries and data analysis tools are one of its greatest benefits, making it a popular option for data scientists and analysts.

I like how the user interface is set up and the ease of use. I just started learned python, coming from the R language and using Rstudio so I like the fact that is somewhat similar.

It is a great help to develop apps and create new ways to analize your data.

I think the beautiful thing about Spyder is its UI and that it comes integrated with the Kite autocomplete.

There is some annoying stuff, like Kite got installed with it and then kept bugging me each time Spyder started up.

In combination with Anaconda it's the greatest Python IDE on Windows.

Spyder only works with Python, which is a bummer. Also, it can be slow when working with a lot of data or starting up.

I would say my overall experience with IDE has been pleasant I enjoyed it and wrote a lot of software through the help of this IDE.
