Well, I like,yeah seriously like Codenvy for my JavaScript, PHP,Python projects and its cool, uncluttered UI fascinates me, keeps my head cool-the most important thing for a developer.

The  ease of use is pretty good , but its java editor is not the best especially compared eclipse. OTher wise codenvy is one of my favorites.

It worked on eclipse, and when I copy pasted the code, there was a compile error. I double checked with others, and they got similar errors.

Customer support is great. I like that the free version has an hour meter, but isn't limiting in any other way.

After trying Codenvy I am thoroughly impressed - this shouldn't be possible. I love the way they are taking advantage of containerization, and the UI is very well done.

Debugging Python limited compared to desktop IDE. Some of the pre-generated images lack a bit in description/documentation of what's where.

But what made me choose codenvy was is the great system they have built. It's fast, reliable and, so far, is working very nice to me.

I found and liked that Github was integrated making it easy to clone repos and push files over. Its pretty cool that there's keybinding for vi and emacs.

I started using this after I bought a low budget Chromebook. It really is an awesome cloud IDE and it supports than enough for a student like me.

The pricing is very much fair and you can share the workspaces with team members as well as external clients and members.

It can sometimes lag, or sometimes give me an error here or there, but at least it works.

I started using this to type C++ programs on the go, and it's a super user friendly. This is probably one of the best IDEs I've worked with.

Integration part gets very easy and is accessible from anywhere is a big advantage. No need to carry your laptop, makes more comfortable.

Some flaws of codenvy are its lag, and its occasional delays.

Amazing cloud development with great integrated tools even works with chrome books love it.

One thing that I dislike is that you have to pay for a subscription to have access to premium support.

It helps large groups and teams, the platform is easy to use.

I would definitely recommend Codenvy for a super easy, nice looking and reliable online IDE.

The most amazing with this is how easy you can share all that complex environment with a single click using the Factories.

These delays may not even be attributed to Codenvy itself, but may be a result of network connectivity problems or individual computer problems.

They have provided an ample number of tutorials to use codes, both automatic and source and the best part I love about this application is its customer service.

The best is that you don't need to download a heavy software and the progress is saved on the cloud.

After some adjusting, I have learned to love it. The ability to use it cross platform, on-the-fly via the Chrome Browser has become a Godsend.

Same for their documentations it's amazing I love the categories really helpful and easy to do what you have to do.

Also It's very annoying that virtual machine powers off after several minutes. If I'm writing an application I need to relaunch my code quite often and these poweroffs are really frustrating.

I can say everything is best in this tool. Right from GUI, easy of use, Integration/collaborations with other tools.

It's starting more and more to feel outdated, and there's no decent dark mode that does everything. Upgrading to new versions was always a hassle.

Development with Eclipse is a hiccup free experience and has pretty reliable integration with GIT and contains lots of plugins to extend its features.

Being able to fire up a free yet capable IDE and follow some tutorials allowed me to test my proof of concept fairly quickly.

This has best user interface almost you can use it as ide for java, c/c++, python as because of its versatile operation.

Eclipse is a great software IDE for development in multiple languages. It mainly supports Java, but we can use it for many other purposes by installing the right plugins.

Eclipse is THE Integrated Development Environment you will need to use for any sort of Java software development. I loved that even though it is a complex IDE, it is pretty easy to get started with.

It's still decent, especially if you need something free. But spending the money on another IDE can definitely be worth it.

Setting up of eclipse is a tad tiresome. If you are not used to use this IDE, it will be hard to understand the project explorer.

It has multiple plugins and easy integration with Git. This IDE is developer-friendly and debugging is easier compared to others.

I love the way how it adapts the code formatting and refracting as it's best just define the project language and you are ready to go, simple yet amazing.

Good for project developement and management, it have an excellent debugging capacity which process the code fast.

Nothing to dislike but it not support web development and it takes more memory location.

My experience as a student with eclipse is very good and smooth. I am still using this IDE for developing many major and minor academic projects.

Easy to use tool with large community support.

Supports running JUnit for testing and running Java programming languages. Has integrations of almost all Java libraries and easy to use.

Missing few features which are available in Intellij. Sometimes it takes more time to load and requires reboots.

Overall I like Eclipse and have had a positive experience. It is an inexpensive option that performs at a high level.

Switched to Software With Better User Experience / GUI.

Can be difficult to learn the nitty gritty details of the software for a beginner.

It is a powerful tool and Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the developers / programmers using Java, C and Python. It has a good and modern user interface.

It is memory eater and turns system slow. The absence of debugger for JavaScript is a lack.

I used Eclipse in school and for 5+ years on the job afterwards. It's a great IDE, supports all needs and there's a ton of plugins.

I like that I can integrate 3rd party applications with Eclipse IDE to manage my API to test my back-end. Also, I like that Eclipse IDE provides a range of programming languages for different use.

The best feature about eclipse is its interface which is basic, clean and easy to understand. This IDE is very lightweight in terms of consuming processors.

I really enjoyed the fact that I could even open netbeans based projects (with the exception of the GUI builder in Java swing). It made life a lot easier and on a budget it works very well.

It has cool integration with git and makes the code check in process simpler.

Unfortunate eclipse has slowly been getting heavier and heavier and has become as overweight as netbeans.

I loved the fact that most of the tools to do any Java-based or even pyton-based development are free in this IDE. It gives a good introduction to new developers especially in the startup context.

Overall experience has been great and have been using this software for 12 years now.

The Auto Doc Features, Inbuilt Console, Now the Dark Mode made eclipse a good Ide to work on. I recommend to fellows for working on it and the Best Part It's Free.

The fact that you can get Eclipse IDE without a monthly subscription makes the lack of shortcuts seem like a frivolous complaint.

It offers a variety of editors, and the night mode in more recent versions makes coding easier for developers. The community support there is outstanding for learners.

Most suitable for java and spring boot development. It has multiple plugins and easy integration with Git.

I would actually recommend working with community version of IDEA rather than Eclipse.
