Jumpstock in Medical Field

We have greatly reduced overstock in our facility and in turn have been able to save the organization money. As new departments opened up they were all set up with jumpstock to maximize the amount of space with proper par levels.

Pros

Par maintenance is the most valuable feature in the healthcare industry. Jumpstock definitely allows us to track and adjust product par levels by usage. The application is easy to use and minimizes time spent daily attempting to place orders.

Cons

The internal software used at the facility interfaced with Jumpstock to make order procurement possible. There could have been better communication between both softwares in order to curb missing items on orders due to small differences in product/information input on Jump.

I HOPE SOON YOU CAN DEVELOPE AN OPTION THAT WILL ALLOW FOR MULTIPLE PACKAGES FOR ONE PO. SOMETIME THE ENTIRE ORDER DOES ARRIVE ON THE SAME DAY AND ONCE A PO IS CLOSED THE APP DOES NOT ALLOW FOR US TO CHANGE IT. SOMETIMES A PACKAGE CAN BE MISDELIVERED, THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT AS WELL.

Jumpstock is NOT an inventory system for healthcare, it is a charge system-does not meet needs.

Pros

Par levels function works well. The first time I tried to submit this reveiw, it would not submit because the "pro list is too short". There are not a lot of pros, besides the Par level counts being tracked well in Jumpstock, so I am writing this here to increase the count.

Cons

Reports don't work, Jumpstock support is non-existing : 6 cases filed in the last month - 5 of the 6 have not been addressed and the one that was has been sent "up the ladder for further review" by Jumpstock. Lag time issue has been a problem since going live - has not been fixed or addressed by Jumpstock. Wastes approximately 2-3 hours per day, for one department, waiting for modules to load in the Jumpstock browser/webpage. We were told to purchase scanners, ipads, ipods, etc. (from Jumpstock of course) and only 4 are able to be used with this system. Purchased a total of 2 ipads, 7 ipods, 1 keyfob, and a scanner for each device, at Jumpstock's recommendation......time and money waste. Expiration tracking does not work . The wasted amounts are not subtracted from the correct lots through the system, so you have to constantly adjust the inventory in every lot that is loaded with an expiration date. Not many of the features that Jumpstock is advertising, work as needed, for Healthcare facilities.

This customer is using JumpStock through a partner and is not a direct customer of Jump Technologies. Support is provided by the partner. Many of the issues being reported show a lack of proper implementation and training done by the partner involved. The real issue reported here was lag time was an issue and has since been addressed.
