Great Product

Lateral took the time to fully understand our business (providing debt recovery for a number of commercial clients) and wrote a bespoke system around our requirements, suggesting many enhancements that we had not considered. We ended up with an extremely secure system that delivers vastly more than we originally asked for. The Lateral team are great to work with, are friendly and approachable and have a strong 'can do' ethos to anything that we challenge them with.

PROS

I'm impressed that the system is highly intuitive and user friendly so has required minimal staff training. i like that we now have a fully automated debt recovery case management system which is importantly fully PCI DSS compliant so staff do not have to see or take payments and which credits payments to cases in real time. Lateral have password (or date of birth) protected all of our automated communications to help protect us from GDPR breaches and an added benefit of that is that we can see when a debtor has opened either an SMS or email, so no more ‘I didn’t receive that bill, letter etc’ excuses! And it's probably the automation that I like the most about the system as I can not stress enough the time saved and efficiency gained from this automation plus we have seen an immediate increase in debtor engagement from the automated communications and webforms. The automation has meant that painstaking tedious manual processes have been negated allowing staff resource to be concentrated on our more challenging cases.

CONS

I can really only think of 1 extremely minor cosmetic criticism that I don't like on the system which is that the drop down items are not in alphabetical order. Anything else we have not liked or have requested has been altered or developed as the Lateral team is extremely knowledgeable, approachable and always looking at ways to improve their product to enable us to work in a smarter and more efficient manner.

This coupled with an extremely competitive and affordable price had us sold. Lateral took the time to fully understand our business and wrote a bespoke system around our requirements, suggesting many enhancements that we had not considered. We ended up with an extremely secure system that delivers vastly more than we originally asked for.

My experience with Lateral has been great. Since starting to use Lateral it has made a huge impact on the efficiency of our work. I cannot fault the support we have been given around tailoring the system for our needs as well as the ongoing support.

PROS

The thing I like the most about the software is how flexible it is and how quick and easy it is to make changes as our services and processes change.

CONS

I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about the software!

Lateral Debt Recovery Case Management System

Lateral is an excellent case management system. With the automated process's put into place it saves a lot of manual user time working on the cases so can focus more on the debtors that don't pay. Highly flexible, easy to navigate and looks good!

PROS

Lateral is a very easy and flexible system to use and the integration from one system to Lateral was a fairly easy process.

CONS

Flexibility of what it can do is second to none!

Building workflows used to be quite laggy but this was resolved in the recent update
