Review
Mostly automation of customer support centers. We have automated a good part of many of them and saved them a lot of time that would have been wasted on boring tasks.
PROSIt's very easy to start building flows and bots. It's quite intuitive and easy to work with even though it can handle quite some complexity.
CONSThe UX could be better. Building flows takes a lot of time of copy pasting bot dialog names and changing child parent relationships manually. Dragging and dropping would make it a lot easier. The train tab could be better (most common difficulty for clients when they handle a bot themselves and where the bot loses most quality). Analytics
Reasons for switching to Chatlayer
Chatlayer was easier to work with / more intuitive. We have great relationships with the team which makes it eaasier to build & deploy. 2-3 years ago there wasn't much difference in platforms in terms of functionality.

Chatlayer conversational AI platform, a plug & play solution for all sizes and industries
Chatlayer delivers a platform with great ease of use! It's CMS is a truly no code/low code self explanatory environment. Dividing different functionalities; Analytics, NLP, Bot dialogs and further functionalities. And allowing easy connectivity across different output channels and back-end systems.
CONSAlthough many data insights are provided some features could be optimized providing further in-depth actionable insights.

working with chatlayer
Overall our experience with chatlayer is positive as we are successfully collaborating now for more than 3 years. by now we have established a concrete methodology that allow us to involve our business owners in the implementation phase and the hand over process is smooth.
PROS+easy to understand interface that helps non expert people to quickly come on board on chatbots project +helpdesk is responding very fast +robustness of the created chatbots +easy customisation of the created dialogues
CONS- i believe that the integration of many languages should be smoother. - i would expect more automation in the creation of chatbot material (expressions etc)
Reason for choosing Chatlayer
it had a more easy to understand platform interface

Great tool for analysis
The process of creating and updating a chatbot is simple and intuitive. There is a lot of flexibility with no code. It is also flexible and allows us to use code whenever the solution required is too specific and that process is simple to implement too.
CONSThe monitoring and reporting features are close to non existent within Chatlayer. It's impossible to get categories within Chatlayer to unearth not understood messages specifically and to export these to consume in other tools

Where have you been all my life!
My favourite feature is the action recorder. This makes it almost idiot-proof to set up automation. CL will record your behaviour and mimic this! I wish I had started on Cheat Layer sooner, it's brilliant and a massive time saver.
CONSThere is a big learning curve, so I don't see myself using this tool to its full advantage for at least a year.
