Great value!
We’ve used Myskillcamp for a while now and like the service alot. Our company has people who speak other languages so need courses in different languages too. Myskillcamp has lots of language options for each topic so we can train everyone in a new skill at the same time. Also the courses offered are high quality and give analytics on the courses and our employees.
PROSPros: The multi-language courses and the amount of courses available.
CONSCons: Took us a bit of time to get used to the new system when we first switched but the customer success team helped alot

MySkillCamp
MySkillCamp est souple et facile à utiliser. Il permet donc de répondre aux problématiques de formation et d'intégration. Les contenus sont centralisés et on peut en plus travailler avec une communauté !

CONSComme tous les LMS il peut y avoir des difficultés au moment de la prise en main avec la particularité des camps, elles disparaissent rapidement

We were sold a system that would be inclusive, engaging and that would give our learners and our community a winning experience. We were promised world class CPD courses from an incredible provider too. Combined, we were told that we were going into a 'new, premier league' of CPD experience for our students and community. We paid [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] Euros for content and paid for a guided onboarding. Ten months later we feel that you sold us a slow, outdated system that cannot handle our requirements and does not lend itself to the promised service. The paid for content is low quality, courses are overly long and poorly put together, the courses crash often and have all sorts of issues and our learners and clients are complaining to us. We feel that MSK took on an un-proven content provider and made us their gunnie-pig. Training Express seem far away from the 'world class' CPD provider, instead they seem to offer bargain basement products at knock off prices with little emphasis upon the learner experience or outcome. We continue to suffer issues and poor user reviews and support for urgent matters is slow. We took the system on in February 2022 and still don't have a product that meets our agreed ambitions.
PROSThe range of courses available seem high value and a great catch. We spent [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] Euros on content from Training Express and the content is really poor. Overly long courses delivered in the most monotonous and unengaging ways. We hoped to compete with high quality online learning providers but between the drab, low value and overly long content and the technical issues we have managed to turn more people off than on.
CONSIt is too basic and complicated for daily use by us or our community. The student experience is confusing, with little personality or engagement opportunities outside of coaching messages. The dated publishing tools that don't allow for solid looking and feeling learner journeys when publishing are a shame, as is the lack of encouragement and low production values. The low value courses that we purchased that don't run properly and prevent engagement have turned people off. The lack of any personality or user engagement on the system makes it difficult to sell. Lack of a decent help function or live help for learners is causing frustration. Especially when the system crashes or certs are not available. The systems lack of user focus.
Reason for choosing myskillcamp
We were promised a better learner experience with social aspect, live updates, super high quality CPD courses, and an opportunity to develop a genuine 'virtual learner campus' for our community with all aspects covered. We were told we could incorporate all aspects of our learners journey, from CPD courses to learner support services and wellbeing. Short announcement videos for new joiners, introductory content for first time users, and a host of options for engagement with our community. We were told we could monetise the system with immediate 'subscription' sales opportunities for the system for our community of employers, we later found out this also is not possible - but only having spent £6,000 on a new website to support this function.We were told that the system would store CPD certs automatically so that our clients could renew mandatory staff CPD automatically as needed with an early warning system to tell managers if a cert was due to expire. This is not possible. We were promised that all learning would remain within the system so that students would be able to complete courses and store their results and share with their manager. This is not possible and learners are taken out of the system to complete courses. They are then offered training express content. This is not closed loop and does not allow us to retain control and branding.We were told that the system was white label, however this also is not the case. Branding is shared with MSK and TE.

We were promised a far superior product and learner experience for us and our community.

Un très complet, avec des fonctionnalités capitales qui restent à développer...
Le produit m'a fait gagner autant de temps qu'il m'en à fait perdre, donc mon avis est un peu mitigé. Je trouve personnellement qu'il est convenable pour des organisation qui souhaitent simplement administrer des cours, ou bien créer des cours en partant de zéro. En tant que formateur, c'est à dire une personne qui construit des formations (et c'est mon cas) je ne peut pas recommander ce produit. Vous mettrez moins de temps à administrer directement des cours déjà créer. On dirait qu'une partie des utilisateurs du produit à été omise du processus créatif produit. Heureusement que le support est à peu près réactif et conciliant.
PROSLe produit possède de nombreuses fonctionnalités intéressantes en terme de gestion de l'apprentissage et des apprenants. Il est customisable à souhait, ce qui permet de proposer son propre espace d'apprentissage, de manière indépendante. Beaucoup de possibilités en ce qui concerne la création de cours, de nombreuses activités disponibles. Beaucoup de contrôle possible également sur l'administration des cours envers les apprenants.
CONSVous perdrez énormément de temps avec cet outil si vous commencez à vouloir recomposer des cours à votre manière à partir de différents contenus. Ce qui s'avère être une ligne pédagogique pour certains deviendra rapidement un enfer avec cet outil, tant il est rigide et manque de fonctionnalités essentielles de qualité de vie. Le process de création et d'édition de cours et à ce jour extrêmement lourd et déconnecté des standards du marché en terme de data management. Pour un espace de création qui se veut s'inspirer d'une solution cloud (e.g Google Drive), on y est pas du tout. Par exemple, il est impossible de trier les cours crées par ordre alphabétique... De manière générale, cela manque globalement de filtres, barres de recherches, raccourcis claviers. Résultat : des tâches enfantines comme copier/coller un cours sont démultipliées et vous font perdre un temps précieux.
