The interface is not user friendly which was made worse by the implementation of 3.4.

I have had the privilege of being a part using Calyx team for an impressive span of 21 years.

I've used several of the biggest name products (Encompass, Genesis, LendingQB) and Point offers some of the best feature/price balance available. It does NOT try to be all things - it's an LOS.

It is awesome that i can separate their profile to different folders i wish to have as long as it is connected with my computer's jungle disc.

Combined with a hosted server, it's very secure, easy to navigate, and integrates with all the major players in the space.

Horrible, this company should not be in business. I will be looking for new software.

I shopped for better value (price and feature) systems, and didn't find any.

It is not designed with common sense. Only an idiot that has never done a single loan designed this.

It's 2018 and this is a dos program that is not web based. Their thing about security is lame and pathetic.

Again, there is NO communication that the issue has been corrected. Almost every update they send out introduces a new problem that then requires another update.

You send an email and they direct you to call. Very frustrated with the service.

I used this daily and loved the format and all the functions for mortgage origination.

There are a lot of things that require customization and template-setting at the beginning. This is extremely time-consuming and costly.

Why would you release something with errors throughout.

They have updated software now but Calyx will always be my favorite.

Furthermore, what truly sets Calyx apart is the genuine compassion and dedication exhibited by its staff, who consistently prioritize the needs and satisfaction of their customers.

I am comfortable with it since I have used it for 18 years.

The easy to understand screens and the ease of tabbing to the next field.

I have integrated stand alone and hosted systems on many occasions. I love the completeness of this application.

Relatively easy set-up, lots of customizable options and interfaces with other vendors.

Calyx Point is an outstanding program and I highly recommend it to the mortgage industry.

It served the purpose of creating 3.2 files. En the 3.4 file was rolled out, it was completely botched by Calyx and forced us to move to another LOS.

Horrible product and worse support. It is sooooo bad that Desktop Underwriter has a section dedicated to Calyx (Not Byte or Encompass) to channel all those calls and tell you to call Calyx.

Product does exactly as it says and quickly. Variety of new products always come available which are competitive.

What I like the most with this software is that it keeps records from my clients and help me organize my files.

I liked that the screen and user interface are similar to the loan originator form.

Customer service is great and very helpful and informative.

I loved this software for originating mortgage loans. It's ease of use and step by step through the application process was the best for origination software in my opinion.

It is a bit difficult to navigate on this software if you are not very much familiar. It took me weeks to familiarize myself.

WARNING: Potential for expensive software failure ... unresolved.

I think that the software is not very intuitive and is a little tough to maneuver. It gets a little frustrating.

I have a current critical issue with the software and its been almost a week and no one has even bothered to call about the ticket that was created.

Calyx Point us  still not cloud-based. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Setting up rules could be troublesome and small changes had large ripple effects.

Always a favorite over other programs. Use it in contract processing.

You cannot import a 3.4 which is very frustrating if you use a processor as most of us do. When changing figures the DTI calculation is incorrect most of the time.

No effort on Calyx part to correct problems that plague their software. Phone support is aware that major exist with the same issues for months but Calyx does nothing to correct the issue.

Calyx Point is a waste of money that I am stuck with for at least another 6 months.

Was extremely happy with the product after switching from encompass.

My experience was hard the first time working on it.

The software is very easy and simple to use. It doesn't matter if you are a new user or a long time user the training to use the program is very minimal.

Overall, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this program to anyone who carries and services notes. Excellent product and well worth the money.

With only 25 loans in our portfolio we were thrilled to find this cost effective solution.

We use the custom fields extensively, but find it difficult to report on those fields.

The software provides the necessary tools to service our loans. The customer service department is excellent and has always done a superior job making sure that our needs are met.

Ease of use, ability to store & organize attached files, multi user capability. The integration with Quick Books for exporting payment transactions is smooth.

This software is the best in such a way that it very complete and easy to use. It saves time and completely does the work for you.

The reporting is wonderful, there are more bells and whistles than I can name and all of this is out of the box. The statements, letters and reports are very professional and look great.

I don't like that there is a separate fee for the amortization feature.

We used to spend many hours monitoring all activity and then hours getting them to correct mistakes. The mistakes became so painful that we decided to take the chance to do it ourselves.

It has a great user interface and customization features depending on users. Overall would recommend for any small business that needs an affordable options.

It is excellent software that completely meets our needs and is very affordable. It has features that are light-years ahead of the software that we had been using previously.

Its very user friendly and again the tech support is fantastic. This program for our company has been a great assist in growing our company.

We have just implemented The Loan Office software and are very happy with it's ease of use and reporting capabilities. The knowledgeable  and pleasant support staff have been a pleasure to work with.

Loan Office is really helpful for servicing and management that offers integration with QuickBooks and is really easy to integrate with existing reports.

It also provide all the reports quickly and in an easy format.

As it turns out, it takes no more time for us to enter the data ourselves into The Loan Office than it took to monitor and correct the outside service.

While we'd recommend that you do your homework to understand the features of The Loan Office, we're confident that The Loan Office will successfully do what it says it will do - what more can we ask.
