Asana is a Good Product
One of the many helpful parts of Asana is the fact that you receive daily alerts that a task needs to be completed. This makes saying you 'forgot' much harder!
CONSMy only wish in this area for Asana is that when I want to assign colors to project tabs I have trouble getting our brand colors saved.

It changed my daily organization for the better and helped us finish our projects on time.
Asana may be a extend administration program that truly permitted us to completely coordinated our work group and make strides the stream of every day exercises. With its straightforward framework and capacities, we were able to carry out the exercises within the stipulated time, we were able to meet our clients on time. You'll way better organize and get ready yourself and your group with this apparatus, Asana makes us more profitable and makes a difference us center on the critical assignments that are basic to our commerce. Asana has made it a every day propensity for me to keep my claim individual extend running so I can continuously appear what, when, how and where I'm working and how much information my bosses may have approximately me.
PROSThis instrument makes a difference you organize, arrange and oversee your team's work, from begin to wrap up, group individuals can communicate their assignments so they know who is doing what, they can too share comments, records and status overhauls. One of the highlights that I just like the most is that it turns an e-mail into a assignment inside project management. Drag and drop may be a modern highlight that I appreciate and it permits us to move speedier with the advance of the assignments. I truly adore how I can have numerous ventures, it's exceptionally natural, I cherish the robotization usefulness and their portable UI is astonishing as well.
CONSAsana isn't accessible when the web is down, I miss the offline mode that permits clients to work at their work areas absent from the web until benefit is reestablished. Your reports can be moved forward a part, we require reports with more points of interest of each activity, the program isn't exceptionally natural at to begin with, which took us a whereas to adjust to it, it has a few covered up functions that don't permit us to induce the complete potential of the program. I would adore to have get to to the reporting/goals highlights as well as being able to have more custom computerization.

Not innovative enough
I worked with Asana for 5.5 years and then transitioned to Monday. The switch to Monday was challenging for me, and I was excited to return to working with Asana. However, I am now disappointed because the product development at Asana is not on par with Monday. It lacks dashboard widgets and sophisticated automations, and the integrations are limited.
PROSIf you want to do simple project and task management with Asana, it will do the job.
CONSVery limited integrations and automations. It pales in comparison to Monday.

Great project management and team collaboration solution.
Makes strides effectiveness in Venture Administration, Errand Administration, Conditions, Needs, Dealing with numerous ventures in one system, You'll include all group individuals and its integration with multiple applications. It makes a difference a parcel to extend the efficiency of colleagues and the productivity of wrapping up a venture by taking after the timeline and connection inside errands and other subtasks. Successful collaboration, errand proprietor possession issues, subtask task, assignment sharing, to-do list, mail cautions, multitasking capabilities, and plans to oversee successfully. Asana permitted us to track breakthroughs over campaigns, we may relegate errands to workers and track their advance, we too track time budgets with the Gather integration. Our generation rate doubled because ready to presently center on the real errands rather than the follow-up that may take until the end of time.
PROSIt is the finest extend administration instrument to oversee errands and relegate them to the particular group individuals without investing a part of time in communicating with group individuals from distinctive divisions. Less demanding to oversee different ventures, best for keeping track of alloted assignments with vital customization alternatives. This gives the client a few choices to add extra data to the task/project within the future. I just like the ease of utilize, adaptability, ventures, sheets, capacity to quickly add numerous errands, subtask administration, cautions on to-dos, security highlights, and collaboration. With Asana, you'll be able effectively oversee your ventures and assignments, with a user-friendly interface and strong highlights, even complex workflows can be effectively overseen. Asana also integrates well with other efficiency devices, making it indeed more effective. In general, Asana could be a incredible choice for anybody trying to find a venture administration or errand administration arrangement.
CONSThe main disadvantage is that you cannot create new tasks from the calendar view; you must return to list view to do so. A better notification system would be very beneficial; I would like to have desktop notifications. I think it's a terrific tool, but it could use additional visualization and word cloud features, as well as chart integration, analysis, and ML skills. I believe the tool should do a better job of limiting the amount of alerts received; I hope there is a feature that allows you to select which projects receive notifications.

Great for organizing workflow and managing multiple projects.
I'm utilizing it to keep track of the errands I've wiped out a day, also I'm utilizing it to track the advance of assignments alloted to my team, I'm utilizing it to gather information from different individuals working inside the organization on different divisions, reminds me of pending errands and makes a difference me prioritize my work. We have made a dashboard utilizing custom labels to track the invoices we prepare for our affirmations office so able to visualize our budget. We have too utilized it for overseeing long-term projects that require diverse levels of endorsement. We moreover utilize it for 1:1 gatherings so ready to track advance towards execution objectives and celebrate the delicate objectives we hit.
PROSAsana gives me a sense of calm and center by letting me see my week by week to-dos in one put, keeping me in match up on large-scale ventures, and has gotten to be our team's single trusted source for much of what we do. Asana could be a exceptionally simple app to utilize, but it offers a vigorous set of features and integrative that make it simple to associate with other stages like Slack, Zoom, or Google Workspace. Asana makes a difference our organization to in total work on a extend consistently, we are able make, dole out and oversee errands with the most prominent of ease, it makes a difference us break a huge extend into small assignments and relegate them to numerous group individuals where they can work and upgrade the advance within the depiction box implanted within the assignment menu. Keep in mind errands that are due on a certain date to assist us prioritize our work.
CONSThere are a few highlights that aren't that develop however, such as objectives and KPI following, the desktop moreover needs a few of the online highlights, and it's moreover a bit troublesome to get to extend and assignment IDs in this environment (which are required for a few integrative). In the event that a errand is to be doled out to numerous individuals it won't let you are doing it, other than that on the off chance that you're working on one task from a long list of errands and you have got to move on to the following errand you wish to go back to the past ace errand to move on to the next. It does not deliver you the consolation of moving on to the another errand from the past one, that's exceptionally time expending when we are working beneath weight.

Practical tool for planning and scheduling projects and managing tasks.
The key issue we are addressing is keeping medium and long-term projects organized in one location, especially when numerous people or departments are involved. Being able to establish schedules is also very important for tracking progress. We have also discovered that Asana may be beneficial for tasks that we previously performed in an Excel spreadsheet, such as establishing our yearly budget, whether you are working in a team or managing projects and people on your own, with or without expertise managing resources. In comparison to other systems, tracking project progress, bottlenecks, recovery, and efficiency is not a huge issue when using Asana remotely or in a typical office environment.
PROSI like being able to click "My Tasks" to see what I need to prioritize depending on deadlines, including multi-workflow projects; it helps me remain on top of my work and guarantee I get everything done on time. With Asana, an easy-to-use project management application that is useful even for rookie or inexperienced users, creating, scheduling, and managing operational workflow, development projects, and team performance becomes simple and comfortable.
CONSI dislike it when random people in my workplace assign me jobs in Asana with no context or explanation; I believe there should be an option to refuse assignments or seek extra information before they are automatically placed to their task list. Asana is a straightforward and easy-to-use application, however beginner users may struggle to utilize it when they are unfamiliar with how to use it, for example, for project Gantt charts, plan time tracking, and other comparable project functions. counterpart software.

Great Project Management tool!
I have had a great experience with Asana, I think I've used it for 5 years already and have never been disappointed. I love the way we have so many projects in there, and how we can assign tasks to others to make sure we don't miss anything, with due dates, notes, files, and so on. I also love that since it's so easy to be used, there's no need to give a long training to new team members.
PROSWhat I like the most about Asana is how it's pleasantly visually and also so easy to use! You can have so many projects in there, organized by tasks, due dates, team members, files, notes, etc. It helps the team have everything they need to perform a task in one single place, and also the information is well recorded.
CONSI don't like the price too much, but we have tried some other programs and we always come back to Asana cause at the end, it's better than those other options we have tried.

Fantastic Project Management
Asana is a fantastic project management tool that I have been using for both personal and professional projects.
PROSWhat I like most about Asana is its ability to break down large projects into smaller, manageable tasks. The platform allows me to create custom project templates, set due dates, and assign tasks to team members, which helps me stay on top of my to-do list.
CONSAsana's downside is that it can be overwhelming for some users, especially those who are new to project management tools.

Simple and easy task management
I use this as a quick way to jot down ideas, suggestions and tasks when communicating with clients and then I can come back and expand on the tasks with more details when I have more time. Adding in sections to distinguish priority and time-frames is nice as well.
PROSIt's so easy to setup a project and add in tasks when in a rush. It's extremely easy to invite people to join your organisation and being able to have up to 15 for free is amazing. I find the option of being able to view tasks in both a list and board view very useful.
CONSI use it in a very simple manner just to manage ideas and tasks on different projects so currently there are no cons. A few years ago I did find it to load slowly but they have fixed it and increased the speed.
Reason for choosing Asana
For my use case Asana is a lot simpler and easier to manage.
Reasons for switching to Asana
I preferred the layout and having the list view.

Empower a manager to take on larger teams and projects
I could not run my business without ASANA. We develop software for a living. It is the SINGLE most important tool that we own. I would go back to coding in notepad. If it would allow us to keep ASANA.
PROSAsana provides a solid interface that empowers me as a manager to manage more team members more efficiently. This software provides time-saving resources by allowing stakeholders to get their own project updates and track the project's progress without interrupting the team executing the project. It provides: - Many ways to plan and manage - A clear view of the task load on each team member - Time planning to keep projects on deadline
CONSAsana provides so many ways of doing things that every person who sets up a project can do so in a unique way. This requires a clear organizational strategy from the start. The issue: - Multiple ways of achieving the same outcome - Confusion on how to work within different project structure approaches Important to note: These cons are primarily a result of poor onboarding. They are not the fault of the software or ASANA directly. My encouragement is for anyone implementing this project to plan and test projects with a very small number of team members. Only once the entire organization can be trained to create and manage projects according to your prescribed workflow should the software be opened up. You must engage with ASANA's guides early. As well as plan and provide training every employee to see the best ASANA experience.
Reason for choosing Asana
The freemium approach made it easy to try. Once we dove into it and built several projects. We saw success. It was a no-brainer to continue forward with the product. We onboarded everyone very quickly (too quickly) and saw immediate gains in productivity and morale. There is much satisfaction to be gained by checking of tasks and seeing how much you accomplished each week.
Reasons for switching to Asana
Our previous software for project management had an extremely limited tool set.

Asana is a great task management tool
I was awarded a small but important project for my department, as it could bring significant benefit to the business in the future if managed in an optimally way. Instead of relying on the many rounds of emails that are exchanged between project managers and other people involved, I decided to simply proceed to create a project on Asana Basic. The first time I used It. This allowed us to keep track of everything that matters, giving us an overview of where we are going. Asana allowed us to monitor the workflows on our teams and see the progress of the work at any time, saving endless updating meetings. Time we all know how crucial it is.
PROS- Asana's interface is extremely well designed, the best possible way for a fun and inviting user experience. I hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed using it. - Asana is an excellent communication tool, it allows you to eliminate a lot of stress from disorganization in communicating with the team. Problems, requests for feedback, clarifications, questions, and suggestions, will all end up in the activities through the appropriate comment function. The only one allowed. - Trying Asana Basic, with a team of up to 15, for free, allowed me to work with three small teams, breaking down projects into manageable tasks and setting deadlines for completion. The ability to share documents between teams has also proved useful. -Asana Basic allowed us to download the app for iOS or Android devices to work and consult updates wherever we are, even offline. We like it.
CONS1. It was not easy to set up a project at the beginning, the learning curve is tough. In Asana, projects are containers that allow you to create one or more tasks within them. This is the furthest away from a Project Manager's concept of a project. 2. I found that having to start over every time I created a project, even when it was repeatable, was like wasting time. 3. In the free plan, you cannot create private projects, meaning that the project is visible and editable by every member of the team. 4. Asana organizes all resources horizontally, flattening their hierarchy. There are no different roles, just people and tasks. 5. The management of risk situations and the consequent negotiation between the resources involved in the project is not envisaged. 6. This is a very serious shortcoming, especially for those who work remotely. It is not possible to assign an hourly or daily cost to resources that are part of the team.
Reasons for switching to Asana
I like to know the greatest number of professional tools that can help in my work.

My Asana Review (Brasilcap)
I am happy with it overall, but then i am a heavy user. I see that other team members take sometime to assimilate its potential and value
PROSOnce you know where to go, it's show great use on promoting transparency and team collaboration
CONSLack of reports Scrum/Kanban likes. A Query engine would be superb. I use these at Jira and helps a lot. Also some constraints vallidation, configuration/confirmation os necessary fields, things like that
Reason for choosing Asana
Jira was our first option, but as we were all begninning our Digital Transformation Journey at the Time. It bacame a concensus that JIRA was way to complex for that moment not to mention it was double the price too. Asana was ease to use right from the start, with little configuration, and it proved so after a while using it

Asana is more lightweight and has better communication tools

An essential tool for our business
As a small business that has both internal staff and contractors Asana helps us break projects into tasks and keep track of where we are. It’s easy to set up and use which means everybody uses it.
PROSAsana makes both managing projects and product development simple. Dare I say it? Perhaps even a pleasure. A pleasure because of some of the funky features it has - unicorns fly when you complete a task, friendly monsters peek at you over cards. But it’s certainly not frivolous. Projects are easy to set up and track. Team members can build a clear view of their work. Admins can report on progress.
CONSIt’s a shame you can’t assign tasks to two people. And that, in calendar view, you can’t rearrange tasks into the order you wish to do them.
Reason for choosing Asana
Pivotal is great for software development. But not as easy to set up and use.
Reasons for switching to Asana
Asana offers better functionality for more complex projects.
