### Most mentioned pros

- I use Encharge with Pabbly, which is another automation system, and I plan to connect it with applications such as Google Forms and our Google administrator account, which contains all our contacts.
- On top of helping me contact folks with ease, Encharge does all the tracking I need and offers A/B testing and more. If I put in the work upfront, it should help me make big leaps in the months and years to come.
- I find Encharge valuable for its email capabilities, allowing us to send mass emails and automate workflows.

### Most mentioned cons

- I am still playing around with Encharge, but as of right now, the only thing that is quite frustrating is the fact that if you archive anything accidentally, you must reach out to customer support to get that archived recovered.
- I'd like to be able to tag a subscriber based on link clicks, but I haven't found that functionality yet.
- Sometimes it takes me a bit to find the exact option I need in the interface.

Overall my experience has been very positive. Encharge helped me centralize my email marketing and reduced the need for multiple tools. I was able to set up automations faster than I expected and the platform feels reliable. It makes my daily work easier and gives me confidence that my emails are reaching people at the right time

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like the most is how easy it is to create automation flows. I managed to connect my website sign-ups to email sequences without needing any technical skills. It really saves me time and keeps everything organized in one place

#### Cons

Sometimes it takes me a bit to find the exact option I need in the interface. It’s not a big problem, but a few menus could be more intuitive

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

Because the automation flows are easier to understand. I felt Encharge gave me more control without being overwhelming, and the price was also reasonable compared to others

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

I switched because ActiveCampaign felt too complex for my needs. Encharge looked simpler to use, with a more visual way to build automations, and I didn’t want to spend so much time figuring things out

### Excellent and intuitive tool for behavior-based email automation

- Overall rating: 5/5

As the founder of a personal development and education center, Encharge helped us automate every step of our 5-week training program. We no longer spend hours manually writing or scheduling emails. Instead, we’ve built an end-to-end system that sends welcome messages, check-ins, reminders, and post-program follow-ups all triggered by user behavior. It has saved us time, increased our engagement, and helped us convert more users into advanced programs. The platform is reliable, the learning curve is reasonable, and support is responsive.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The visual flow builder is easy to use and very flexible. We love how we can segment users by tags and behaviors like clicks, page visits, or email opens. Integrating with Google Sheets and others works smoothly, and the behavioral triggers help us create dynamic and personalized communication. The drag-and-drop design lets even non-technical team members build flows quickly.

#### Cons

Analytics dashboards can sometimes load slowly or lag a bit, especially when dealing with longer flows. Also, the lack of native A/B testing within the flow builder limits direct experimentation unless you create workaround branches. More prebuilt templates for common use cases (welcome sequences, reactivation, etc.) would also be helpful for beginners.

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

Encharge struck the perfect balance between powerful automation, ease of use, and price transparency. The visual flow builder and native behavior triggers were exactly what we needed, without unnecessary features that would slow us down. It just fit.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

We switched from Mailchimp to Encharge because we needed more flexibility, especially around behavior-based automation and user segmentation. Mailchimp is great for newsletters and simple campaigns, but it quickly became limiting for our educational programs — we couldn’t easily trigger emails based on specific user actions or personalize the flow depending on each participant's journey.

### Buggy software, rude support and arrogant [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

Horrible experience, I would not recommend this even to my worse enemy. No integrity from Encharge's team what so ever. All this arrogance just for an average tool that won't survive in an oversaturated market (for sure not with that attitude). No data export after terminating my account without warning or chance to backup data. Still waiting for an export to this day, they sent me a corrupted ZIP file and stopped responding.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

I initially was attracted to this software because they offered free incentives in exchange for reviews. (as many other reviews you will find here). Overall the automation feature is OK.

#### Cons

The company disabled my account and said I broke their terms of service. The true reason they disabled it is because they sold a lifetime deal on Appsumo, so these clients are just causing them additional expenses with no income. Cowards use the terms of service to nuke accounts in a self convenient way.

As a former Kit user, I was a bit skeptical when looking for a new email marketing solution. I wanted a tool that was easy to use, but offered a robust solution. Encharge offers everything I hoped for and more. There's an easy to use tagging system, you can build easy or more complicated flows, depending on your needs. Another worry I had was integrations with other tech tools I was using. You need not to worry, other tools I'm using for my business were possible to connect to Encharge. The interface feels clean and intuitive, and setup was genuinely straightforward.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

As a former Kit user, I was a bit skeptical when looking for a new email marketing solution. I wanted a tool that was easy to use, but offered a robust solution. Another worry I had was integrations with other tech tools I was using. I was happy to discover that all other tools I'm using for my business were possible to connect to Encharge quite easily. The interface feels clean and intuitive, and setup was genuinely straightforward.

#### Cons

The only downside I see is little documentation available on how to set up the software, but I was able to do it fairly easily with the written documentation provided.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

The pricing of ConvertKit became very high for what it offered

Encharge has changed the way I deliver email marketing campaigns to my clients. The automation process, or creating a flow, is very simple, and there's extensive compatibility with many platforms. The good thing is that they have a roadmap for further expansion. Email delivery is very efficient—I'd say much better than other, more well-known systems—it's a very reliable email delivery system. For me, a change from the previous platform I had is the integration with Shopify. It's a very well-designed integration with full compatibility, and it adapts very well to all the actions and triggers my clients need. Encharge is a real discovery, and I'm delighted with the tool. One of the most important things is the human team behind it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

A lot of triggers A lot of integrations with other software Easy creation of automation flows Easy contact management Support team High efficiency in email delivery

#### Cons

I can't point out anything bad, I've only had good experiences and the software has been very efficient in everything.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

It was an experience I didn't enjoy because of the high price and sometimes the email delivery and segmentation weren't entirely satisfactory for me.

### A Must-Have for Small Business Email Automation

- Overall rating: 5/5

- Industry: Arts and Crafts
- Company size: 2-10 employees

My experience with Encharge has been excellent. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and powerful enough to handle advanced automations without the learning curve you get with other platforms. I use it to follow up with customers, onboard new subscribers, and promote products and classes and it’s helped increase my engagement significantly. I also appreciate their fast, friendly support whenever I have a question. It’s a tool I recommend to any fellow business owner or creator looking to build out email marketing automations that feel natural, not spammy.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I love most about Encharge is the visual automation builder it’s incredibly intuitive. As someone who juggles crafting, product sales, and online classes, I appreciate how easy it is to create personalized email flows based on user behavior and tags. The templates, segmentation tools, and integration options have saved me hours. I also like that it's not bloated everything is purposeful and well-designed.

#### Cons

If I had to name something, I’d say the analytics could be a little more detailed. While the basic metrics are all there, I’d love to see more granular reporting, like breakdowns by tag or deeper insights into flow performance without needing to click into individual emails.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

🔄 Why did you make the switch? While Klaviyo had some strong features, it felt overly complex and a bit overwhelming for my needs as a small business owner. I wanted a platform that was more intuitive and less focused on e-commerce stores alone. Encharge offered the perfect balance of ease of use and powerful automation features, especially with its visual flow builder and segmentation tools. Plus, the pricing made a lot more sense for my use case, which includes classes, events, and digital products not just physical product sales.

So, I've been trying out Encharge for my email marketing, and it's a really good bit of software. I moved away from another tool that I had been using for some years (that suddenly stopped working properly) and I'm extremely pleased that I was put onto Encharge. The tagging system is straightforward and makes keeping track of your audience a doddle. Their automation flows are also really well thought out and easy to use. However, the thing that's really impressed me is the behaviour triggers. Being able to group people based on how they interact with your emails – like clicking certain links – is just brilliant for sending really relevant and permission-based marketing. It makes personalisation a cinch. And the fact that it all connects up nicely with my other tools via Pabbly Connect and Zapier is a massive plus – no headaches there! If you're after an email marketing tool that's both powerful and easy to get the hang of, you might want to give Encharge a go.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's tagging system, segmentation and behaviour triggers, for example segmenting based on a link clicked in an email.

#### Cons

It took a while to get used to not having Groups or "Lists" in which subscribers belonged to. But now I'm liking the ease of Segmentation!

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

Stopped functioning and performing for what I needed.

I recently moved from ActiveCampaign to Encharge and I’m so glad I did. As a coach and small business owner, I was looking for an email platform that could handle advanced advanced automation without overwhelming me and Encharge does that.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The interface is much cleaner and more user-friendly than ActiveCampaign. It feels less cluttered and easier to navigate. I love how easy it is to build and edit Flows, especially being able to set up email templates separately and tweak them without diving back into the Flow itself. Folders are a game-changer for organisation. I can keep my broadcasts and Flows neatly filed away, but still view everything at once if I want to. I also really appreciate being able to send emails based on the reader’s time zone without having to upgrade my plan (something that was frustrating in ActiveCampaign). The reporting is clear and helpful, and the automation triggers and features feel just as powerful as what I was using before. Support is also excellent. [sensitive content hidden] is incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I’ve had, which makes a huge difference when you’re getting set up or troubleshooting.

#### Cons

There is a slight learning curve, but nothing compared to the overwhelm I used to feel in other tools. I’d like to see even more depth in reporting over time, but honestly, it already does a great job. I'd like to be able to tag a subscriber based on link clicks, but I haven't found that functionality yet.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

Cost - there was the potential to pay a lower price with Encharge

My overall experience with Encharge has been fantastic. From the easy setup to the responsive support, everything has felt seamless and well thought out. It’s made automating my business so much easier and more efficient. I feel way more confident in my workflows now, and I actually enjoy checking in on my campaigns! Highly recommend to any business owner looking for an intuitive and reliable email automation platform.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The platform is super easy to use, even for someone who isn’t super techy. I was able to set things up quickly and intuitively. Also, their customer support is AMAZING! Anytime I had a question, they responded fast and were genuinely friendly and helpful.

#### Cons

Honestly, not much to complain about. If I had to pick something, I’d say it took me a little time to explore all the features because there are so many great tools, but that’s not really a con!

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

I switched from ZagoMail because the experience was incredibly frustrating. Their customer service was unresponsive; it often took weeks to hear back, and when they did reply, the support wasn’t helpful at all. I also had issues with my account and ended up losing money due to poor handling and lack of transparency. I needed a platform that actually values its users and provides real support, which is exactly what I found with Encharge.

Encharge has replaced multiple disjointed tools for me. It strikes the perfect balance between power and simplicity, allowing me to run sophisticated campaigns without needing a technical degree. Highly recommended for anyone needing serious automation.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The standout feature for me is the visual flow builder. It makes mapping out complex user journeys incredibly intuitive. I can simply drag and drop triggers and actions to see exactly how a lead moves through my funnel. The segmentation is also top-tier; being able to tag and target users based on specific behaviors (like visiting a pricing page or opening a specific email) has significantly improved my conversion rates. It integrates smoothly with my other tools, effectively acting as the "brain" of my marketing stack.

#### Cons

While the reporting is good, I’d love to see even more granular analytics for individual email performance directly within the flow view. However, the team ships updates fast, so I expect this to improve.

recently started using Encharge for my email marketing, and it’s already proving to be a game-changer! The platform has beautifully designed, visually appealing templates that make it easy to create polished, on-brand emails without needing to hire help (cost savings!!). I especially love the built-in A/B testing feature, which helps me optimize my messaging and subject lines for better engagement. What really sealed the deal for me was how seamlessly Encharge integrates with both ThriveCart and Zapier, which are my primary biz tools. The automations I’ve been able to set up are already saving me hours of manual work. This tool is exactly what I needed to level up my business and streamline my workflows! A must-buy and a great alternative to the competitors out there!

#### Cons

I do wish they had a landing page option for lead magnets. That would make this platform EXCELLENT. Fingers crossed it comes soon.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

We use Encharge to improve our accuracy and efficiency in our marketing communications. We input the data we get from several sources into the system and do segmenting and testing for best results. The numbers are improving and a part of it is because Encharge powerful tools.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

There are two things I really like about Encharge. The first part is their automation sequence builder (aka flow builder) that comes with dozen of useful templates, and the second part is the many ready to use native integrations with market leading platforms such as hubspot, calendly, intercom, typeform, and integrators such as zapier, pabbly, and integrately.

#### Cons

There's a pretty high learning curve if one has little or no experience in email marketing automations. There are many parts to the puzzle that are required to set up and tweak to get things right. It also takes a lot of work to set up segmentations and sequences, especially when tracking visitors/users behaviors.

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

We engaged every platform with a trial and ended up like the ease of use of Encharge the best. Other UX and UI just aren't easy and modern. Another major point is the learning materials they provided. If you questioned and they have the answer, then it's good enough for real usage.

#### Pros

Wow, I'm impressed by Encharge! I was using Active Campaign for a long time and was mighty impressed by the automation capabilities. Discovered Encharge through a friend's recommendation and oh boy, it didn't disappoint. The flow builder is amazing, simple and powerful UI. Lead scoring feature and direct integration with facebook to create custom audience is amazing. Generally its a high tire and premium feature in most marketing automation tools.

#### Cons

Integration with LeadPages is missing. Hopefully they will increase the native integration Apps. So currently have to manage with third party connectors like Pabbly and Zapier. Only area I'm watching out for is the email deliverability. Active Campaign is known for its email deliverability, so waiting to see how Encharge delivers on this, If Encharge delivers on this expectation then migrating from Active Campaign will be a no brainer.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

Found the feature of "Leadscoring' and creating audience on Facebook based on email list impressive for the price point offered by Encharge. These features are available on Active Campaign but for that we have upgrade to a much expensive tier.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Encharge's strongest feature is the highly cutomizable 'Flows'. This software has let me design very powerful email automation sequences that help me take leads through to customers. Out of the box, Encharge gives a level of flexibility that most other 'autoresponder' software either can't match or only offers on their outrageously expensive premium plans. I was also blown away by the number of built-in integrations, such as adding leads to Facebook audiences based on various logic.

#### Cons

Encharge is a fairly new player in the area, so they are working hard to provide tutorials and how-tos for the software. It is improving rapidly, but it is a challenge to navigate at first.

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

Mailerlite looked good, but lacked some of the sophisticated automation and segmentation options we wanted. Groundhogg seemed a good budget option, but appeared very difficult to set up, and required an unknown number of premium plugins to add features.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

ActiveCampaign was too expensive for our budget and had many features we did not need.

Honestly, Encharge surprised me. I didn’t expect it to be this easy to get started. Most tools like this overwhelm you right away, but here I was, building my first automation within minutes. It just works. I used a form, connected a Google Sheet, added some logic, and somehow it all flowed. No idea how they made it this smooth. The flow editor is... I don’t know how to say it, but kind of fun? Sounds weird, but dragging those steps around and seeing it all come together gave me a weird sense of joy.

#### Cons

There are a few places where more advanced stuff takes a bit of digging. But this is why it is called 'advanced', right? Nothing that stopped me in my tracks, so far.

I’m running several multilingual websites, and Encharge has helped me centralize and automate all my email communication. The tagging and segmentation system is excellent for managing different contact types and languages. Even though there’s a learning curve, the documentation and support make it manageable. It’s a real asset for small business owners who want serious email automation without enterprise costs.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

The visual automation builder is intuitive and powerful. I could easily create personalized flows for welcome emails, follow-ups, and upsells. The lifetime deal made it even more appealing.

#### Cons

Some basic things like file attachments or Gmail-style message previews could be smoother. It’s very close to perfect, but a few UI improvements would help.

I signed up, finished the procedure, logged in and I was welcomed to a first onboarding page with a brief video introduction to walking me through the Encharge with ease-in experience. It is an excellent impression. A lot of SaaS tools skip this part of an educational and good onboarding experience of the product in action which leads to lots of confusion and therefore more load on the support team. The comprehensive walkthrough is quite extensive with all the attributes covered and offers a fair suggestion of the item all at once. Then comes the page to start importing my contact with 2 options and their samples! great. You can either import Excel or CSV data with relevant headers. In addition to that, you have more possibilities while importing the contacts, fields, tags, etc. which makes it very valuable if you have already established a lot of tags for your contacts and listings in your existing CRM solution or any other email marketing automation app. The next step is to connect your contact with so many application "Natively" if you want to use it together with Encharge, it's all about your marketing strategy and how you get used to working or your client used to your marketing style. For me the native integration with MailChimp, Slack as well as HubSpot were the ones I was looking for, however, I was additionally excited with the Webhook's abilities and the availability of a lot of the platforms and tools that I can connect to Encharge.

#### Pros

Plenty of ready-made templates to start with, for me it was very easy to begin utilizing "Capture Leads with Lead Magnet and send out Support Sequence" one, but I was under the impression that the Encharge team created the templates just to give me the first step and then the limit is the sky, I believe Encharge users will feel the same too. Great stuff all around this platform with unlimited emails!, this is insane!, Encharge not only created a magnificent product but they also impressed with the "guiding our customers" mentality while working in the UI/UX. This is a big certainly a big motivation to avoid unnecessary huge monthly bills from similar product with less features!. I was pleased when I received the email from Appsumo that Encharge is there with an amazing and affordable price, which definitely will cut down my monthly bills with alternative tools I am using

#### Cons

Encharge is still new and users will need to wait a bit for more integration to come.

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

They're simply closing a big gap which other tools are not for a long time, they're also solving many problems I am facing and opening a big room for improving my business. I reviewed the product accurately and found it the best solution I need for my business to grow. I am pleased with this product.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

I see a large potential in this product, I see young enthusiasts with passion and would love to see them growing and developing an alternative to other email advertising and marketing apps. Moreover, they're currently offering a lifetime deal in Appsumo

### Powerful, delightful to use, next generation email & marketing automation tool

TRUE email and marketing automation through advanced flows, tagging, segmentation. It's a huge relief from using dated tools like Mailchimp. Visual FLOW builder allows me to really visualize and understand the whole flow. And it's all in one, instead of using a 3rd party flowchart tool to draw, and map out the flow through some obscure process like in other tools, this is truly the 1 tool that I need.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

1) Powerful "Flows" - very customizable flows which allows one to have multiple conditions, parallel pathways, allow multiple or single sends. 2) Powerful integrations - this is the secret sauce of Encharge, and why it's the next generation tool in my mind. It integrates with external tools like Hubspot CRM, Facebook Custom Audiences. It becomes your marketing automation stack, which is what I really dreamt of. While more integrations are coming on that are on my wish list, this is really what I want to invest in. 3) Advanced Segmentation & easy Tagging: As part of flows, it's easier to tag users, recognizing which form or opt in they came from, which campaign they are tied to, what downloads they did, what pages they landed on. Combined with segments, one can send out tailored messages. 4) Onboarding: I'm impressed by the onboarding emails received to really get one up to speed. This is an advanced tool, and it's really important to get users acquainted with the features. That being said, the user experience is really easy once you know what to look for. I'll advise users to think about their marketing flow, before creating them in Encharge.

#### Cons

Much to like. Below are my wishlist for improvements: 1. Google sheets integration: Not only just to add users, but adding of attributes to existing users in Encharge. For example, I may have many subscribers, but I maintain a list of "paid customers" in Google Sheets, with different products bought, subscription period. I'll like to just update Google Sheets, and have this updated in google sheets. 2. Hubspot 2 way sync: on a similar thread, to have Encharge recognize all attributes from Hubspot, and not just email address, on a live refresh basis. If this is already available I apologize, but this will be a winner! 3. Other CRM integrations like SalesFlare 4. Opt In forms: HTML forms are on the way, but I'll like direct integration from various common tools like Thrive Leads for Wordpress, Brizy Cloud. Yes this is dependent on these 3rd party providers, but getting subscribers INTO Encharge is a key success criteria.

### A solid choice for intuitive email building and automation

I’m really pleased I found Encharge. I have used quite a few email marketing apps with various levels of automation, from the popular inexpensive choices to a few enterprise solutions. All have pluses and minuses. From my use of Encharge so far I would say it compares well to any of those I have used. Overall I find Encharge to be an amazing value and a great choice for what I intend to use it for: automating low volume email campaigns and integrating with other apps for marketing automation, fulfillment and tracking. I think it’s a great choice already, and the roadmap indicates it will keep getting better.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The email building options are great, with a choice of approaches available. There’s a clean and simple editor and a well thought out drag and drop builder. I usually use templates I’ve developed separately and adapt them to the ESP I’m using, which is also easy to do with Encharge. The automation flows are very nicely implemented. It’s very fluid and intuitive to build, and far more straightforward than some of the tools I have used. Segmentation and triggering capabilities are at least as good as any of them. There are almost unlimited ways to integrate campaigns with other apps, either through integration services like Zapier, through direct hookups with a list of specific apps, and through an API. Deliverability is a key concern. I gave up on a self hosted email application because it was just too much work to police deliverability issues on my own server. One or two of the services I’ve used were not that great for deliverability, though the enterprise oriented products are excellent – they have to be. Encharge is set up to be excellent in the deliverability area, and they make it clear they will not allow the service to be degraded by poor reputation senders, so I expect it to stay that way.

#### Cons

So far I have found a few small quirks, like the editor not working in the older version of Safari I have on one machine (Chrome is fine though), and a strange organization of some settings under the cryptic account section, rather in the settings section where you might actually look for them. Minor issues compared to the overall functionality.

Overall, I love Encharge and what they offer for this pricing. It's a great and powerful tool for anyone looking to automate their emails to their students, subscribers, users.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

1. Encharge integrates really well with its existing partners (I use Swipe Pages) and Zapier. This is powerful, in my opinion, to keep automation live. 2. They use Sendgrid and AWS for email deliverability. This is robust infrastructure talking. My emails got delivered really well in my usage and it's lightning-fast! 3. Their pricing is quite competitive as well. For 2000 subscribers they offer $49 plan. For the powerful automation + unlimited emails + unlimited broadcasts + unlimited flows + free email verification and validation, this is a steal. 4. A separate toast for the free email verification that they throw in for any level and plan. 5. Tags can be used to segment and create lists of subscribers. This has been easy to set up and powerful in using within automation flows. I created a flow within an hour that had 5-day drip content as a mini-course - fully automated to anyone who downloads my lead magnet. Talk about ease of use and time savings!

#### Cons

Emails can be reused in different flows but quite naively (like me) if you alter anything within any of such emails, it affects all the flows. Makes sense, but I learned it the hard way. This might improve in the future.

#### Reasons for choosing Encharge

For its pricing and scalable design.

#### Reasons for switching to Encharge

Powerful automation with visual flows.

#### Pros

Encharge is one of the first viable alternatives to ActiveCampaign that I’ve come across. If you’re looking to automate your emails into long and complex flows, then you’ve found it with Encharge. I’ve been using ActiveCampaign, exclusively, for years. There are 3 things I love about it: the ability to tag, segment, and blast emails based on behaviour; their simple-to-use drag-and-drop builder; and their deliverability rates. Encharge definitely checks two of 2 of these 3 boxes. They have a great drag-and-drop builder with everything you need to customize the exact look of your emails. Plus, they have a flow builder that has more integrations and just as many (if not more) possibilities as ActiveCampaign’s automation builder. Using the app is intuitive and easy to learn. It looks great too!

#### Cons

There are some things I hope they’ll add to stay on par with—and one day surpass—ActiveCampaign. Adding the ability to copy multiple steps of a flow would be great, and it sounds like they’re working on it already. Being able to move users stuck at a step into another step manually would be very helpful. Finally, SMS is a must to truly compete with ActiveCampaing. So far, their pricing is only slightly less than ActiveCampaign’s—I hope it’s enough to sway current AC users to try something new.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

For email marketing and automation, Encharge can honestly do just about anything I can think of. We haven't used ActiveCampaign, but it has far more functionality than Mailchimp, plus much, much more intuitive. It also is laid out a lot better... the audience is managed logically and can be filtered extremely easily. Flows are also very well thought out - very logical and you can select almost any filters you'd like, and the builder is great. The integrations are also really good - amazing to be able to cross link across apps without importing and exporting all the time. We are looking forward to finally setting up properly customized email flows and really pushing our marketing forward!

#### Cons

Ecommerce missing so far, but they are considering integrating it.
