### Secondary ratings

- Ease of use: 4.3/5
- Customer support: 4.4/5
- Value for money: 4.3/5
- Functionality: 4.3/5

### Rating distribution

- 5 stars: 370 reviews (63%)
- 4 stars: 181 reviews (31%)
- 3 stars: 25 reviews (4%)
- 2 stars: 1 reviews (0%)
- 1 star: 8 reviews (1%)

### Most mentioned pros

- Great functionality in that it allows for more complex mail signatures that are platform agnostic and allow mobile computing to remain invisible to the receiver.
- I also like the reseller program and the fact that I can also manage my clients email signatures from one online dashboard.
- This enabled the business to focus on marketing and the IT team to focus on creating custom signatures.

### Most mentioned cons

- not as easy to copy signature templates easily, and presented issues when managing multiple signatures for a branch/brand, making it challenging to manage.
- The lack of mobile-responsive and dark mode testing
- The only item I found to be inconvenient was waiting for the policy to replicate across the company.

#### Pros

The software is easy to implement. The customer journey is a WOW every time help is required. For an SME trying to compete with larger organisations the signature conveys a professional company is communicating with you 'from the get go'. Awesome brand awareness and information share capability is built in.

#### Cons

Would be good if it could drive lead generation using AI moving forwards.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Customer experience is the best.

### Professional signatures, very versatile

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Dev L.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management
- Company size: 201-500 employees
- Product usage: Used monthly for less than 2 years
- Reviewed: March 2023
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The features I most use are the signature tester and troubleshooters, which can help you to determine what signature a particular user will get when sending to certain recipients. You can have separate internal and external signatures or even change your signature details by recipient domain, so if you have a partner organisation that you're happy to share your mobile number with, but wouldn't give that out to the public, you can do that. The signature setup is very versatile and there are some simple but effective things that you can't do with e.g. Exchange mail flow rules - conditional separators, for example, which will only appear when the attributes are non-blank. This stops the stray commas or dashes which we had in our old rules.

#### Cons

I still find it a little hard to know if I have the correct group setup for which emails get sent via Exclaimer, as we don't have all our users on it yet. I think I had a little bit of trouble also with the sync group for whose attributes to sync so I ended up just getting it to sync them all. That does mean you can trial what signatures would look like for people who aren't yet using Exclaimer.I also find it hard when you have a lot of different signatures, to know if you've arranged it correctly, as you can have folders (which have their own criteria for which users to apply to) and then signatures within those - it's therefore possible to assign a signature to a user but not assign that user to that folder, or vice versa, and not have the signatures applying that you think you do. I'm not sure there's a better way to do it though, and that's why you have to set it up in a way that makes most sense to you and also use the troubleshooter/sig tester to check that you have done what you think you have.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

I think one factor was just that our IT partner org was reselling Exclaimer, although in hindsight we didn't get much of a discount after all :-) They did both look like they'd do the job quite well.

#### Pros

Once it was set up it worked as promised.

#### Cons

The billing department is terrible and the customer service is even worse. They have been charging me for almost a year and not providing the service. Repeated attempts to contact support and the credit department go unanswered. I have an open case on this issues that is 6 weeks old. No update in 3 weeks despite repeated attempts to contact support. The last update I received was they were trying to get in touch with their own Credit department, which is a strange response.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

1. Easy to use and configure 2. Does not conflicts with inhouse digital security setup in outlook. 3. With the Server/Client Side setup its automatically applies signatures if we sending email from ipads/tablets/mobile phones.

#### Cons

Sometimes its takes time to search for white papers on the exclaimer website incase of any issue.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

1. Very quick response from the Sales team. 2. We had inhouse security solution which Exclaimer is able to manage itself.

Configuration went without any problems and once implemented users had no issues anymore as they had with the previous solution.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

The ease of creating signatures. The drag and drop solution works really wel. When users have been assigned multiple signatures, they can very easy switch between them.

#### Cons

When adding groups to a signature, the group must be mail enabled. Also the user signatures are not visible when sending from a shared mailbox.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Same company and the drag and drop feature works really well for us. Other then that both solutions deliver about the same signature solution.

#### Reasons for switching to Exclaimer

It was an on-premise solution that didn't work well anymore with Office 365.

It's been ok. We almost pulled the plug due to the amount of time spent trying to get it up and running in the Client-Side configuration. We opted to not use the server side because we did not feel comfortable having all our emails routed through a random server (They could spend some more time explaining their server hosting, uptime and security a little better) for the purpose of a signature.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's very easy to get consistency across your entire team with their tool. It's also going to be fantastic for advertising and event marketing.

#### Cons

Setup was not as smooth as expected, and the support team seems pretty scattered. I got there eventually, but the constant emails from Zendesk checking in on my case after I considered them to be closed were quite annoying.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Price point was a big factor. It's a small amount of money, but we also weren't in desperate need for this sort of solution, so keeping costs down was a big factor.

We have always like Exclaimer products for our customers, that have always been easy to us and implement without any heavy costs incurred. It is a big labour saving product.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

Very easy to impletement, with no downtime for the customer. We only use it for O365 and have used for years with on prem Exhcange enviroments. Support has always been good and is very inexpensive to run. Design enviroment is good and for a web environment is easy to use after a bit of playing.

#### Cons

Some of the design features in the editor like changing fonts and sizes can be a bit confusing. Just formatting setting in general, can be a bit trial and error. No autosave function and no HTML coding function.

### Auto organisational signatures, bye bye messy signatures

Overall, we are very happy with Exclaimer Cloud.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The Exclaimer software was very straight forward to integrate with our Office 365 system. If you have not used Office 365 connectors before don’t worry. Exclaimer provide comprehensive but easy to follow instructions. Using the Exclaimer editor is fairly straight forward, once you get the hang of the template editor you realise how powerful email signatures can be.

#### Cons

We did have a couple of teething issues but I think this was more part of the learning curve rather than a problem with the software. Also, when we have new members of staff the auto sync runs every evening. The manual sync is a bit slow.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

The integration with Office 365 is excellent. The template editor lets you have different signatures for different users, departments or groups. You can change the email signatures templates for individual members, groups or the entire organisation. The changes take effect immediately. Using Exclaimer means that staff no longer need to worry about setting up individual signatures. Our email signature brand identity 'font type, logo, hyperlinks, info, disclaimers etc, is now centrally managed and automated. Staff can email from any of their devices and be confident their signature will be added securely and automatically with Exclaimer in the Office 365 environment. We are very happy with Exclaimer and would highly recommend it.

Exclaimer Cloud was a very easy to set up and implement program. With the easy step by step implementation process to the very easy to use templates and design environment making our signatures was a breeze. The Signature manager allowed us to easily organize which signature gets applied to each employee whether it is by department or location.

#### Cons

I feel like the cost is pretty high compared to the Local Exchange version of Exclaimer that we normally used. That is the only gripe I have with it.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Because of the seamless integration and ease of use. The trial helped me get a feel for both

### Exclaimer Cloud is Great for SMB and Startups

#### Ratings breakdown

- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The first thing about the software that I was most drawn to was the price, which was on par with comparable signature tools. What ultimately sold it was their willingness to sign a BAA with us due to our work with patient data. We are simultaneously working to build an organization that complies with all of the US's regulations on healthcare data and almost no signature tools out there were willing or even sure what that involves. Additionally, the product just works. In the past, I've used other tools that were sold to me and my companies as amazing applications, but they never executed well. Exclaimer has worked for us since we were able to get everything operational on our end. Their support staff is amazing and incredibly helpful in troubleshooting all the various problems we ran into while integrating our Google Workspace.

#### Cons

The user interface tends to have some glitches here and there. Sometimes elements will not update when styles and text are changed in the signature editor. Usually this requires a refresh of the application and repeating some of that work. Other times, it will not save the changes after working on a signature and the edits will revert when returning to the signature selection screen. All of these leave improvements to be desired, but don't impact the overall effectiveness of the application in deploying and triaging signatures at scale.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Ultimately, it came down to which vendors were willing to sign a BAA with us to comply with securing healthcare data.

The problems we are solving is brand recognition and consistency in emails. Also comprehensive information consistency for each associate. It's convenient and helpful.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Integration and set-up took the longest just getting all our employee info into the fields. But once set-up, it was fairly easy to use and manage. We love the ability to have different signatures for each of our divisions.

#### Cons

Not being able to turn off signatures on replies - you can, but it turns it off on all replies, including replying for the FIRST time to a customer or vendor. If a customer reaches out to you first and you've turned off signatures for replies, the reply you make to that customer and essentially emailing them for the first time, won't include your signature. We just wanted to be able to turn it off after you've replied or emailed someone for the first time within the same thread so there wouldn't be so many graphics in one thread. But right now, if you turn off the signatures on replies, it turns it off for every reply regardless if it's the 1st, 2nd, etc. There are also some problems with iOS where the images in the signature each turn into attachments to the email upon replies on mobile email. There is a work around but we are still having a few problems.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Exclaimer had more options and functionalities for the signatures, was more user friendly, and easier to integrate.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5

#### Pros

How easy it is to add new users to the portal, and assign them permissions to edit signatures. This allows the IT department to offload this task to Marketing, and IT are only responsible for implimentation/issues.

#### Cons

The signature designer screen can sometimes get very finnicky. You end up with containers within containers within containers, and in amongst that there will be a setting you're trying to find somewhere.

#### Pros

Great editor to manage the design of signatures and an easy way to apply certain signatures to certain staff members.

#### Cons

Specifically, we were disappointed that no support to handle outlook dark mode has been added yet. This is very common now and our signatures do not look great in dark mode due to the lack of ability to lock background colours. We were also disappointed not to see the ability to have a border radius on box's. Something supported by CSS for years but not by exclaimer.

I would describe my experience of using Exclaimer as a positive one so far

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

My review title explains most of the benefits. For a SME with a very minimal IT support Team. This helps us keep a consistent look to all our users email Templates. We area Micrsoft 365 users, but we are Hybrid for users and computers. I really like the fact that user info entered AD can be queried by Exclaimer and used to personalise the email signatures even URLS. Telephone Support was super helpful too on the few occasions I needed this.

#### Cons

Although I don't know the exact cost to our company, I do understand some companies may find this product a bit pricey. However, for us, the flexibility of this product out weighs this.

Overall it is a great product that consistently delivers. No issues with service or reliability. Customer Support is very responsive.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The ability to have all the signatures uniformed is powerful as users typically start modifying their signature away from the corporate standard. Exclaimer maintains consistency with signatures which is great and even syncs the users with Azure. Another powerful feature is to be able to create different types of signatures for different teams or departments within the organization which keeps it well managed.

#### Cons

There is a steep learning curve to master all the features and capabilities of Exclaimer. It would be nice if there was some guides or videos to help new Admins get started. Lastly, trying to edit a template or existing signature (e.g. add a new field such as for Microsoft Bookings) is an arduous task to say the least as all the formatting gets moved around. Difficult to modify after the fact.

#### Pros

Since the update, the product is much easier to use. Creating signatures very straight forward. I know the product well enough to udpate or create new signtures quickly. The testing feature works great.

#### Cons

Sometimes we have a user that the last character in a line is chopped off. It is very random and have not been able to resolve - happens in Outlook (internal and external), but not to other mail programs. Not all features have been updated and switching back and forth between new and classic is a pain. No easy sign out button in the updated version

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

#### Pros

It is very easy to deploy and implement in M365.It is also easy to configure complex systems with mutliple different signatures.

#### Cons

Some functionalities are currently missing for the outlook implementation. For example the fragmentation of signatures into multiple blocks that get combined to a single signature. It works well in the server side implementation, but in the outlook version you get seperate blocks that you can't combine. It would be very helpful for campaign banners and the likes.

#### Reasons for choosing Exclaimer

Not sure, as I did not make the decision

Local exclaimer is not supported anymore. Also we combined a lot of sub-companies into one solution.

I haven't dealt with support for a number of years now, mostly because the platform is pretty stable. When I dealt with them directly, I was frustrated by the offboarding process when a customer cancelled. Exclaimer at that time made it difficult and tried implying a long-term contract was in force. Now it's through CSP the process is much simpler.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

I like Exclaimer because it provides a unified experience across all devices. I know that my corporate branding, and that of my customers, will always be present on every email. And you can have different signatures for replies, other departments etc.

#### Cons

I'd like to see a media library to be able to re-use images. Currently you have to upload an image each time. Plus I had to move away from being a partner due to not selling enough new seats annually. Happily buying through CSP works out a little cheaper overall.

#### Pros

If you need central signature management, it works great.

#### Cons

Other than a new UI to the editor/management interface, there hasn't really been any "new" killer features for signatures or ease of use in many years - recently, they seem to try to flog other products and over complicate the plans now by launching different tiers.I also feel support has been terrible over the years when it comes to anything from dealing with an outage to knowledge on their own product.

#### Pros

The ability to create signatures in a matter of minutes makes Exclaimer a delight to use. Drag and Drop features is very nice, making creation of complex signatures easy for all technical abilities, no need to know html You can also tailor certain area's of the signature to be visible dependant on AD criteria, something we utilise regularly.

#### Cons

Would be nice to have a wild card place holder for images. For example if you had your corp sign off and then banner followed by some other information and then a T & C, rather than have to split the signature into 4 sections that flow on to each other you could incorporate the first 3 things (corp sign off , Banner, Other) together and then have a pool of images for the banner that can be inserted due to filter criteria and then and the T & C

#### Pros

After getting enrolled within the Office365 tenant, the deployment of Exclaimer was pretty easy. Managing the signatures was straight forward. Support was prompt. Easy to use.

#### Cons

There were a couple issues that came up after deployment: some distribution lists stopped working and had to apply a fix via powershell to resolve. Some customization fields could be added.
