### Most mentioned pros

- Ive had a great experience so far with loomly really saves us alot of time and money being able to post in a one stop shop platform
- It was one of the few social media apps that works with Google business profile.
- Very easy to post on multiple platforms and make adaptations to suit each social media platform.

### Most mentioned cons

- The only thing I don't like about it, is that it opens multiple windows when duplicating posts between calendars.
- Also sometimes it keeps shortening my links when I don't want it to.
- It always bugs me that I can only see 1 month at a time...especially toward the end of the month. And no matter how many times I change the view to "next 4 weeks", it always defaults back to showing me a single month at a time.

- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

This is truly my favorite business tool, ever. It’s super easy to use so I don’t have to worry about level of tech skill - each team member can use it regardless of their comfort with “tech.” The wizard is useful for newer folks but not cumbersome for experienced people. I love That you can duplicate posts within the same calendar or copy them to another calendar at the click of a button. It’s sooooo easy to manage multiple brands and products. I can see them all at once or individually. Oh and one of the best parts? The price! It’s so nicely priced it takes no begging to get management on board. LOVE LOOMLY!!

#### Cons

My only Suggestion for improvement would be letting users hide bits like the target audience tab if you don’t use it. But that’s it. And I know how to jump over it if I don’t want to use it.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

Better experience, easier to use, more flexibility and control

#### Vendor response

Dear Sara, Thank you so much for your review and your very kind words: this is immensely appreciated. It truly means the world to our team to read that you are loving Loomly: we are so grateful to wake up every morning and build the platform for you. I hear you regarding skipping the targeting panel in Post Builder and have shared your feedback with our engineering team already. As always, please let us know if we can assist you with anything. Overall Loomly has been great. All of the features we need at a fraction of the cost of other similar solutions.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Loomly includes all of the features we were looking for. Notably, the post approval workflow/feature is really helpful and something that isn't included with other solutions at a similar price point.

#### Cons

Our team hasn't found many things that we don't like about Loomly. There were a few adjustments that needed to be made to our workflow, but nothing too significant. The only thing I would change is the ability to display one post scheduled for multiple dates/channels separately on the calendar.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

Our company made the switch from Hootsuite when their pricing structure was updated. A post approval process is crucial for our workflow. At one time, post approval was a feature included with a Hootsuite pricing tier that was appropriate for our company. Since then, the feature was moved to a more expensive plan. Fortunately, we found Loomly!

#### Vendor response

Dear Samuel, Thank you very much for your review, this is immensely helpful and appreciated. I am really glad to read that Loomly includes all the features you need. I believe I have great news for you: you can group/ungroup your posts in Calendar View! I have asked our support team to reach out to you to guide you through this recent feature. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.

Seen my companies grow in engagement steadily!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I've used Loomly for 2+ years and for multiple companies, for profit and non-profit. I got in with Loomly when they first launched and have been a very happy user. Their pricing is similar to competitors like Buffer but they have a little bit more of a visual approach in their content builder, which I like. Loomly helps any social media manager make the most of their marketing with a calendar view, analytics, and post builder. My companies have grown their engagement because of the tools Loomly offers.

#### Cons

There's a lot to make your way around on Loomly...maybe too much for the average user. If you're new to the social media game, it could be intimidating. But if you're a veteran, you probably love that Loomly offers so much to you if you click around all the different features and functions.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Loomly has been a very easy to use software to manage our social media output. Creating and scheduling is a breeze with it.

#### Cons

I wish there was a free version of Loomly. I know I know. We can't get everything for free and that's fine, I just don't always get to test a service in the trial period they give you for free. Sometimes I'll get started and it will be months before I get back to what I was doing.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

We were testing lots of different services at the time and have continued to try to find the very best for us. We are not ever set, we just use the best service for us at the moment.

I used Loomly for my side business for over a year, and finally had the chance to utilize it at my day job a few months ago. Our Marketing Manager loves it, and no longer has to go from social media account to account trying to keep up with everything. The calendar view is wonderful. The customer service really gets me — the original onboarding was very friendly, and when I had a question about my most current account, the chat was super fast.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

This is the first social media organizing software whose interface makes sense to me. I'm not fighting it. I actually look forward to using it. There are multiple views, I can connect a variety of social media, and I can customize and schedule each post.

#### Cons

Instagram integration isn't at 100% right now. We have to manually publish some posts. That gets frustrating, though they are working on it.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

The interface and the level of customer service.

#### Vendor response

Easy, reliable and complete for major account management.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Loomly really streamlines the creation and publishing process for social media. It allows for customer review and approval and keeps track of who is doing - or needs to do, what. It has all major indispensable features and social networks and you can bulk edit and fine-tune each content.

#### Cons

Calendar view by month is a little cumbersome because it doesn't give bird's eye view when you are at the end of the month. 4-week view like Google calendar would be better.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

Best features/price ratio and solid approval process for customer's account. Adding more team collaborators on equivalent products was way more expensive. Other products did not have same social networks support.

I get inspired by new things DAILY and my top priority in choosing a social media scheduler was to have a platform that allowed me to easily rearrange posts so that I wouldn't have to put new inspiration at the end of the queue of scheduled posts. I LOVE Loomly because I can drag and drop my posts on my calendar and move an item from one day to another happens in a matter of a second. This capability wasn't possible on other platforms that I explored and it means the most to me! I also love that I can color code and label every single post to stay completely organized and easily see what I've got coming up for scheduled posts!

#### Cons

Loomly makes it really easy to schedule content, then customize it for each channel. The analytics reporting is stellar, too. When onboarding new users, it's easy since it's so user-friendly. Overall, a really good tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

I love the depth and ease of reporting analytics. The ability to simply pull up a screen, apply a filter and see so much detailed data that's easy to digest isn't something I've seen with the other platforms I've used, which includes the usual popular tools.

#### Cons

I'm wishing that the connection between Instagram Stories and Pinterest was as robust as it is for the other channels.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

Better price than some, easier to use than others, best and most efficient analytics reporting

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

Loomly is more user-friendly and the ability to customize and see each post as it would appear on the channel is a bonus.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

We've been very pleased with our experience using Loomly -- our top priorities in a social media management platform were post scheduling across channels, the ability to accurately preview how posts will look, being able to tag other users for review, high-level analytics, and cost. We've had great experiences with Loomly's customer service and appreciate that Loomly is constantly adding new features. We especially appreciate the calendar view in Loomly and the ability to both plan and create content.

#### Cons

The analytics offered by Loomly are good but it would be helpful to have more in-depth options.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

### Best social media planning tool out there

Very very awesome. I recommend Loomly to everyone I meet who asks about social media planning tools, because it's just the best one I've found and used ever.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I have tried various other social media planning tools, and Loomly just ticks all the boxes. This program covers the widest range of social media outlets that I've found, while allowing me to schedule out posts for every single one, and customize to every single outlet all on the same page. The suggested captions/topics are immensely helpful when I'm feeling less than creative, and the UI makes putting together posts really simple and fast.

#### Cons

I still wish I could post to Instagram automatically without having to use a notification to my phone and posting manually.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

I looked at Tailwind, Plann, and some other tools I've heard about, but most were much more limited, focusing on one single social platform (usually Instagram). It's important to me to be able to manage and post to all my social platforms in one place, and Loomly was the only tool that was doing that and doing it with an easy to use UI and suggested topics, recommended posting times, and other super helpful stats.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

Loomly's UI was more intuitive to me, they covered more social accounts that were applicable to me, and they provided automatic suggested topics and trends during the social post building process, which was not something I was getting from Hootsuite at the time.

#### Vendor response

Dear Nadia, Thank you so much for your review and your kind words: this means the world to us. I confirm that we are doing everything in our power to bring Instagram direct publishing to your and I have just asked our support team to reach out to you about our Zapier integration. Loomly has helped us redesign our content management and scheduling process. We are a small team of three and using Loomly has made our work flow efficient. From brainstorming, building social media posts, uploading art/media, to publishing we use Loomly step-by-step. It's publishing tool is reliable, and we are in love with the master calendar view that helps keep our three closely related brands stay organized.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

We love the Master Calendar View. The direct publishing is reliable. Plenty of tools that help keep posts organized by category, publishing stage, and schedule.

#### Cons

It seems like this software could use a little more polishing when it comes to user interaction. The navigation among views and pages is still a little clunky and requires a little extra back and forth. Other amenities would be helpful, as well. We would love to see Instagram direct publishing become available, and the ability to tag Facebook Events would be outstanding.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

Loomly works more similarly to a project management tool than just a calendar or publisher. We appreciate the flexibility of the software, as well as its reliability.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

The master calendar! Buffer seemed to be more bells and whistles than a content management tool. We found many road blocks and a lack of common sense features.

#### Vendor response

Dear Alex, Thank you very much for your review, this is truly helpful. It's really nice to read that you are enjoying Master Calendar. I confirm that we are doing everything in our power to bring Instagram direct publishing to you as soon as possible. Please let our team know if we can help with anything else. Overall, Loomly has made being an unpaid social media manager something that is manageable. I have implemented a plan so our posts aren't all on top of each other, and have managed to have real social media campaigns. Since we started using Loomly, we were able to grow our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Loomly has really made things less time consuming and more collaborative. It's great.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I "work" for an all volunteer dance company. No one gets paid to do any of the jobs required to market the company or the shows. Loomly lets me streamline my time making and implementing social media marketing campaigns. It also makes it easy for other people to help. I can choose one or 2 nights a week to sit down and get things all done. I love that I can see all the posts on a monthly calendar, whether I scheduled them, or someone else has. With several hands in the pot it keeps us from posting too many things in one day. Loomly is great for collaborating with other users. I can mention someone to get them to check my grammar and spelling, or to bounce ideas off them. We can also work together on a post, I can put a picture in and someone else can write the witty words to go with it. Loomly has helped us to grow our social media presence by making it easy to create and schedule posts. You can also see when people have interacted with your posts right in the Loomly interface, so you can like their responses. You can set up alerts to remind you if posts haven't been scheduled yet, or for when collaborators comment on your posts. There's a lot to love about Loomly. They have post ideas if you can't think of something to write. They have tips for best times of day to post, and reminders if you've done something whacky like put a weird size image in a post. The customer service is fantastic.

#### Cons

There is not much I dislike about Loomly. I wish that the posting videos and multiple pictures to Instagram automatically was already implemented (it's in the works). Right now you have to have a Buffer account connected, and then Loomly sends you an alert and you have to post the video / multiple image Instagram post from your phone. But even that is easy to do. The photo is there and the caption is automatically copied to your clipboard so it's pretty simple to do.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

The price was right, there is a non-profit rate, and the people were willing to talk with me to help me figure out the best way to go.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

We switched because Hootsuite only allowed a single user on any of the plans we could afford. We were using that and google calendar to share when other people would be posting on the various platforms. It was organizationally a pain, and didn't allow the collaborative aspects of working on a post or campaign together.

#### Vendor response

Dear Brigitte, Thank you so much for your incredible review, this is immensely appreciated. It means a lot to read that Loomly helps your organization streamline processes. I confirm that we are doing everything in our power to bring Instagram direct publishing (for photos, slideshows and videos) to you as soon as feasible. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.

This helped us a lot in making many improvements that contributed to increasing our ability to achieve positive results.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

I like the simplicity of the interface in Loomly, which enables us to find all the tools, move between sections, and perform tasks effortlessly. I also like that there are so many powerful features that allow us to sync calendars, set up ads, add links, and post in hashtag templates. Scheduling is excellent in Loomly, as we were able to synchronize publications on various platforms. Also, due to the full integration with all social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram, we have a great ability to manage publishing and follow-up accounts from a central platform in complete harmony. It also helps us to have a box to collect all messages received for ease of filtering and answering them with the participation of the rest of the members according to their specialties. It is also great to have dashboards and reports that explain the analyses in detail and provide us with a lot of statistics that show the levels of participation in our publications, which show us the extent of our success in reaching the target groups.

Using Loomly, we've been able to keep our company's social media accounts free from clutter by scheduling posts on various platforms in advance. The Loomly also allows us to effectively manage our interactions with followers, monitor comments, and use advanced analytics to determine the optimal times for posting.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

With Loomly, scheduling posts on all social media platforms, and monitoring and interacting with followers are all possible on one platform. Customizing posts for each platform is also made easy with Loomly's unique features, which allow for the same content to be changed for different platforms and accounts, creating a single post for all social channels without duplicating them. Loomly also allows for manual posting in cases where automated posting is not possible. The share draft feature is useful, as all members can directly review and approve drafts. I also love the dashboards, as they are easy to set up and offer interesting insights.

#### Cons

The negatives are somewhat limited; the interface needs more updating, as I find it a bit messy, and work should also be done to simplify the process of publishing longer videos on various platforms.

### Tried every SMM tool and landed on this one

I literally tried every single social media management tool on the market (Hootsuite, buffer, later, Zoho Social, YOU NAME IT). It took months but I couldn't find one that managed BOTH Instagram and Google My Business (in addition to Facebook, and Twitter) and provided a robust analytics platform. Finally I tried Loomly and WOW it has everything I was looking for! All of the social media platforms, the ability to create different calendars for my clients, calendar views which I use for planning, post suggestions, hashtag management, direct publishing to Instagram without having to use a third party like Zapier. It's the dream and I'm happy to pay the price tag for peace of mind.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

You can setup multiple calendars with multiple accounts for each (I use this for client management) and you get to switch between a calendar view and a list view for planning content. They have an ideas section that just lists different ideas for posts which is super useful if you're planning your month and what to see what special days are coming up, etc. They also have a hashtag suggestion feature which is outstanding. Not only can you store groups of hashtags you use frequently, but they actually show the reach of each hashtag you use so you can judge its effectiveness before using it. The best newest feature? YOU CAN PUBLISH DIRECTLY TO INSTAGRAM! (No Zapier integration! YAY!) Total gamechanger.

#### Cons

I wish there was a way to organize media files. Right now you can assign them to categories you create or arrange them by published and not published. But folders would be nice to move evergreen stuff into its own place or filter out content that's time dependent and won't be used again for a year.

#### Vendor response

Hi Jordanna, Thank you so much for your review. It means the world to read that you are enjoying Loomly so far. I hear you regarding organizing assets into folders in Library and I confirm this is something we are looking into. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.

I love the fact that with Loomly we have a clear methodology for posting on social media, and this has helped us expand our engagement with the aim of reaching more potential customers.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

With Loomly, after linking it to our social media pages, we can control a lot of operations and data, as Loomly, through effective scheduling, enables us to organize publishing times or publish at the same time on all platforms. It is also good that we can make several copies of the same publication and format them independently to suit the requirements of different platforms. It's also great that Loomly is able to capture and collect meaningful data about interactions with our posts. It is great that we can assess our ability to achieve the desired effect on social media based on accurate data.

#### Cons

You can't help but love Loomly, and I haven't had any difficulties yet. I would love to find in the upcoming upgrades more additional capabilities to match the current development in social media.

#### Vendor response

Hi there, Maria! I'm so glad to hear that Loomly has helped streamline your social media process and track your marketing goals. We value your feedback, and appreciate you as a Loomly customer! Have a wonderful day.

### Really Handy Overall!

- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I am the main user of Loomly in my office as the social media manager & one of the graphic designers for the organization. I use it just about every day and I find it very useful for planning posts, organizing my time and posting schedule. I like being able to see the calendar I've created in several different views. I also love being able to see what our feed will look like with the posts I've created, even including future posts that I've assigned but not yet published. I also have found their customer service to be really responsive and friendly, and go the extra mile to figure things out for me when I've had an issue, or not understood something within the app/site. Its been really interesting to use this app, and my department has chosen to continue our subscription past the trial because we like even being able to give each other feedback on posts, assign certain topics to specific people, and see the history of posts & images and pull from those for future posts without scrolling way back in our feeds for that info.

#### Cons

There are just a few things I would like to see improved with the use of Loomly. Overall, I find the design of the interface it to be very intuitive and easy to use; however the thing holding it back is posting to Instagram. Loomly is a bit behind on integrating it's system with the new Instagram rules (which now DO allow publishing through third party apps). So as of right now, it is not easy to post to Instagram, and in fact it almost feels like a waste of time to even use Loomly for that because you're just creating posts on Loomly and then having to redo everything through Instagram later, or copy and pasting everything from Loomly which is just an extra unnecessary step. I've also found that that part of the interface (especially from the app) to be counter intuitive and it ends up giving me lower quality images than what I uploaded to copy and past into my post. This is really only one area that I've found to be lacking, but to be honest, the point of an app/website like this is to make less work, not more for a social media manager, so I do think it's important to be on top of it.

Overall, it's a good product and my favourite scheduling app to use, and I've used them all.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The approval workflow is probably the main reason why I suggested Loomly as a scheduling platform. Having post set up and approvals within the same platform not only streamlines, but also makes sure approvals aren't missed.

#### Cons

The interface can be a bit clunky sometimes, and occasionally it doesn't load very well for me. Cropping photos in Loomly compresses them a ton, and we lose a lot of the quality of the image. I think this would be the only 'complaint' I have, as I have to crop everything in Photoshop before uploading to Loomly.

### Great app!

Great to be able to schedule content across all my platforms - I spend a few hours a week creating posts which schedule automatically for the whole week. After using Hootsuite for several years I've now replaced it with Loomly/Buffer - and although I'm paying more than double I think it's worth it for the ability to create better looking posts.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Love this app - particularly how it helps you write better content. Ability to adapt the post in full for each platform & the helpful hints & tips and hashtag counts are fantastic. The biggest bonus is the app tells you the prime times and days of the week to post so you dont put content out at a bad time and can really create a bespoke plan for the week. Very little to say that is not a massive positive other than having to use Buffer as well is a bit of a pain and I dont like the calendar.

#### Cons

Cost - it is more than I'd like to pay especially when I also need to pay for Buffer alongside it. I dont like the way the calendar is set up - it's not clear to see what posts are going out every day, I try to mix up the content for each platform across the week and after you've done several schedules and want to go back to check what you did it becomes tough to see what's posting where.

#### Reasons for choosing Loomly

Ease of use with the free trial, user interface is great and very easy to get started. Pricing would be good if it was a bit lower to compete with Hootsuite - I've gone from paying for 1 app to now having to pay for Loomly and Buffer - if you priced about $10-15 a month lower I think you'd get loads more users exponentially because there is lots on offer for businesses with a full media team and big bucks but very little option for smaller businesses like ours who struggle to justify spending $100 a month on a scheduler.

#### Reasons for switching to Loomly

Hootsuite became very buggy and less user friendly, I found I was using it less

#### Vendor response

Hi Nikki, Thank you very much for your review, this is immensely helpful. It means a lot to read that Loomly saves you time and helps you create better posts. As far as seeing your upcoming posts, may I ask if you had a chance to use the "Post Overview" & "On The Radar" widgets on your dashboard, which let you see at a glance the posts that require your attention on the short term? I can confirm that we are doing everything in our power to bring Instagram direct publishing to Loomly as soon as feasible. Please let our team know if we can assist you with anything. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.

Loomly offers quite good services for the management of social profiles. I like the fact that I can work with my team and receive real-time notifications. I also like the content suggestion. It's very useful when you're in need of inspiration. I invite you to try Loomly, you will not be disappointed

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Loomly is an excellent platform for managing social networks. It supports the majority of social networks, especially the most popular. Loomly's board is super simple and intuitive. It's easy enough to learn, even for beginners. The integration of different social profiles is also quite easy. But despite this simplicity, Loomly offers a lot of features that allow us to manage our profiles properly. The platform offers features such as publishing calendars, content suggestions, team collaboration, performance analysis, and comment monitoring. Content suggestion and team collaboration are two assets that are not found in all other competitors. The content suggestion makes it even easier for us, especially when we are in need of inspiration. In short, Loomly is a platform that I strongly recommend

#### Cons

The platform is not free and can be quite expensive, depending on the different features you need

#### Vendor response

Hi Ouattara, Thank you so much for your review! We're so glad to hear you've been enjoying Loomly and all the features it has to offer. Your feedback has been noted with our team. Have a wonderful day!

I have 3 clients who all use the tool to approve messaging and collaborate with me managing there entire online presence. It works really, really well. What else is there to know.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Simple, easy, and designed for the work I do. Not as online salesman like all the others. I manage 5 different small businesses social media. what I need is not to be able to spam people with unless sh** but to craft valuable engaging content and deliver it to hard earned audiences. Love the builder, love the client collaboration, love the calendar, LOVE the library. and most of all I love the way they are constantly developing and innovating, that for me is infinitely more important then any specific feature.

#### Cons

It's new and run by what feels like a very small team. This isn't a block buster summer movie but a tiny little cult classic. Loved deeply by some but not enough. The design is a little rough, the functionality a little finicky. I heard that initially it was designed by a husband for his wife.

#### Vendor response

Hi Sam, thank you very much for your review and your kinds words. A brand-new UI is coming soon, so we can say good bye to this early, a-little-rough interface. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.
