### Most mentioned pros

- Overall experience really good with adding clients and managing agenda, although the interface can be a lot more user friendly with less irrelevant information
- The scheduling module was easy to navigate, making recurring/group appointments was simple and I liked having the option of deleting the entire group of appointments or on an individual basis.
- Love WebPT for ease of use, great interface, easy scheduling and great note taking capacity.

### Most mentioned cons

- We have issues when webpt does updates, we can't get into webpt, files won't load.
- Worse thing, they charge for patient appointment reminders huge that we end up spending hundreds of dollars each month just to send reminders for patients.
- During that time, we have at least one major outage every quarter, where the system has been down for over a day, impacting my physical therapy clinic.

### WebPT Review by Physical Therapy clinic

- Overall rating: 5/5

I use WebPT daily because I get authorization for the patients that are doing Physical Therapy in our clinic. I review the notes and use the information to submit my authorization requests. We see approximately 20-30 patients a day so I'm looking over a lot of WebPT therapy notes.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

It has very clear templates and it's easy to find information. The records are very easy for even a layperson to understand, but thorough enough that the insurance companies easily provide authorization for services. Even when we need to have a substitute from an agency they are able to plug the information into the note and keep to the format we are used to thanks to WebPT

#### Cons

I don't like that it costs money to integrate each aspect separately, we currently have an account you can't use for billing. I also can't see the calendar view so if the name of a patient is misspelled it's hard to pull up their account.

#### Reasons for switching to WebPT

We still use eclinicalworks for other aspects of our medical practice but it did not have enough capabilities for us for the physical therapy aspect, webpt is much more user friendly and the way it's set up enables us to get more therapy approved and paid for.

Had a positive experience. Often times, WebPT did not have much in the way of technical issues at all, and it did a good job carrying over information from previous note, so there was not much that needed to be added outside of what the day held. Scheduling was very easy and straight forward as well .

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

WebPT was constantly making updates to improve their software. Updates usually were timely and did not occur during work hours, so did not impact my ability to perform work related duties/tasks

#### Cons

I felt like the interface was slightly out dated. Would have liked something more intelligent, and more progressed in terms of options to expedite getting notes done

#### Reasons for switching to WebPT

Company switched from WEBPT to SPRY int eh spring of 2024

### WebPT is good BUT expensive!

Decent experience. Very functional but tedious with time consumption. There are a lot better options available with more inclusive features for less cost.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Easy to understand. Able to create evaluation and treatment templates so that you didn't have to write the same verbiage. Could carry over notes from the time before.

#### Cons

Expensive. Require multiple tabs open for the same patient because the SOAP note and the exercise flowsheet were not on the same page. It took 15-20 minutes to complete a note because of toggling between multiple tabs. Offered a lot of features for exercises and CRM but all extra features were a la carte. The expense for a solo practitioner and then to add users was too expensive. It would have been better to charge per number of visits per month vs. number of users. EMR and billing integration was not as synced as should have bee.

#### Reasons for choosing WebPT

I initially chose WebPT because it seemed like everyone was using it and rated it highly. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations and became a major source of frustration for me and my Administrative Specialist. I changed to PT Practice Pro and was much happier... until I discovered what I am currently using: PowerDiary.

#### Reasons for switching to WebPT

I had a free version with Practice Fusion and I needed something more robust.

It doesn’t work! If you’re ok with a system that crashes and has technical issues every other day to the point that you don’t know your schedule and can’t bill for your services then webPT is for you! I wouldn’t wish this garbage company on my worst enemy! Save yourself and stay away!! You’re also better off paying a termination fee to get rid of them! Don’t say I didn’t warn you about this horrible, dishonest and incompetent company!!!!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 1/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

Nothing, absolutely NOTHING! It crashes more than it functions so good luck catching up on your notes or billing for your services.

#### Cons

Everything!!! It’s the absolute worst documentation and billing software you can possibly use!

#### Reasons for choosing WebPT

Because I was mislead into thinking they were the best but they keep getting worse and worse over time!!

Chaotic. Clunky. Once your signed up, it can feel like you are without a safety net when EMR issues arise.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 2/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 2/5

#### Pros

The EMR pushes work flow during an evaluation.

#### Cons

Customer service is absolutely awful. Slow to respond and issues are rarely addressed in a timely manner. Onboarding a new clinician is far more difficult than it should be. This should be an easy process, but often WebPT makes the process painstaking. Features often do not work. We waited nearly a year to have the waitlist feature fixed which is a critical means to track new referrals. As a result, we had to hand track new clients using a separate technology to ensure we did not lose business. Often unreliable due to outages or downtime. We have adopted "downtime" policies and procedures that we have had to use far more often than ever anticipated. Cost is not worth the overall product value and the cost is increasing per information presented by WebPT over the past month.

#### Reasons for choosing WebPT

Recommended by other clinicians. It was a great product early in our usage, however has declined tremendously in the past couple of years. While I type this, I am currently on hold for the 3rd time today with customer service. The previous two times I "timed out" in the waiting period and had to leave a message. Not an unusual occurrence. Shows you how many people are calling in that need help. That says a lot about the product. On hold for an issue that is 4-5 days old and still not resolved. Just simply trying to add a new clinician to WebPT in order to see clients. That's it. Shouldn't be difficult, but it is.

My experience with WebPT has been challenging, particularly due to issues with their customer service. While their product itself is decent, the constant turnover in staff led to a lack of consistency in communication. Over our three years with them, we encountered multiple billing errors that went unresolved, resulting in financial losses for our business. Additionally, there were issues with their billing process. Despite providing our credit card for monthly payments, they failed to charge it for several months without notifying us. When they eventually realized their mistake, they demanded a substantial lump sum payment without offering a reasonable payment plan. It took numerous frustrating calls and hours on hold to finally establish a payment arrangement, only to find that our payments were not being properly credited to our account. Despite ongoing attempts to resolve these issues, including stopping payments while awaiting resolution, we received no notice before they abruptly discontinued their services. Their mistakes and lack of accountability have significantly impacted our business, leading to unnecessary stress and financial strain. Furthermore, their decision to send our account to collections was unwarranted and further exacerbated the situation. Overall, the lack of professionalism and accountability from WebPT has severely affected our trust in their services.

#### Pros

Clinical ease of use, efficient documentation, excellent customer service; owner and company is 100% dedicated to the field of PT and supports the APTA, PPS, PAC which is very important to me; Love the initiation of Rehab Nation to try and get WebPT users engaged and to learn from each other; a very Proactive company, Lots of great online material - blogs, webinars, etc.

#### Cons

Therabill was a complete disaster for us and we had to switch back to Kareo. Was rolled out way to early and was clear that it was not meant for PT (behavior health?) - hopefully over time this may change. The billing is frustrating that everything is a tack on charge. I am concerned that WebPT is growing too fast.

#### Pros

It is nice to look at, visually appealing and seems to have a lot of features that could make for an excellent platform but as a single clinician practice, it has been nothing but headaches since I started about 7 months ago. It was easy to use since I used it at a previous clinic. This would be a review for both webpt and therabill. I think they got to the party early and have excellent marketing, however there have been so many issues and time wasted fixing their errors. Actively looking for other options.

#### Cons

- WebPT recently switched clearing houses from Office Ally to Availity and I was assured it would be a seamless transition. None of my charges were going through due to EDI errors. No one knew what was happening so they had me complete the change over early. I filled out all forms several times because apparently there is no communication in this organization. Constant phone calls/emails stating I needed to complete forms I already completed. Called and after a 45-minute wait no answers, just do the forms again or call the insurance companies. I could not submit charges for one MONTH. That is crushing for a startup practice. Turns out they never sent me the emails with instructions on what to change in their bill on my end. So I got an apology, great - Upon setting up my account Webpt put the incorrect clinic info (phone number and fax) on all outgoing faxes. For 3 months I was wondering why I never got POC returned until a doctor called personally and asked for my fax # because everything was getting kicked back. - More recently entire notes won't load (charges are missing, portions of notes) After submitting a ticket they say it is because 1)my internet is too slow (it's about 5x their recommended speeds) 2) I have too many windows open (apparently the scheduler and a documentation note are too many) and 3) I'm not completing the notes fast enough, so, start from scratch and do an evaluation again. - Support hold wait times, more than an hour at times

I was one of the original 100 members of WEBPT and I could not have advanced my practice without it, what 10 years ago? (not sure how long its been) and surely could not survive without it now. The ongoing onslaught of insurance changes, branches, etc etc., especially Medicare, PQRS, G Codes is challenging enough but would be unsurmountable without WEBPT. I love the webinars for education and the new program Rehab Nation to keep us in touch and involved. I love the store with discounted items in which believe me, I have checked around and there are some good discounts at the WEBPT STORE. I am a critics critic and expect quality and customer service, each of which I have received with WEBPT. Thank You.!

I love the store with discounted items in which believe me, I have checked around and there are some good discounts at the WEBPT STORE. I am a critics critic and expect quality and customer service, each of which I have received with WEBPT. Thank You.!

#### Cons

not enough to mention.

### Utter lack of professionalism

I am an LMT and have a medically focused practice, therefore, most of what I do overlaps with some of what PT's do. Given this fact, I have been searching for a new EMR and RMC system that is all integrated. I just got off of a "sales call" that couldn't have been longer than 3 minutes with [sensitive content hidden] clearly thought that being on a call with me was a waste of his time. I got eye rolls, told maybe I should find someone to jerry-rig a system together for massage therapists since they don't exist even after telling him multiple times that what WebPT offers is what I am looking for. He immediately told me that I would be looking at paying $300-$700 a month and asked if that was something I could afford because he didn't want to waste time, you know giving me a demo like we were supposed to be doing. He told me they charge $150 per month to use their scheduler and scoffed at me when I get all of that functionality for free from another platform. He did everything he could to try to get me off of the phone by throwing what he figured were numbers I couldn't afford. The fact is I can afford that, and I will pay another company that money now, because [sensitive content hidden] you were demeaning and dismissive. This is the third phone call I have set-up with this company's sales department and have all three times been treated terribly.
