We love this system and rarely have problems with it. The money is worth the system. The clinical is hard for new therapists to learn but once they get used to the system it is fast and easy.

Pros

This system ensures compliance, has an easy to use scheduler. The ability to fax through the system and upload documents to charts using quick scan is amazing. The reporting is new and improved and very helpful.

Cons

There are system outages and slow downs after updates (not frequently), Its hard to switch between licenses, When the internet is lost clinical notes can be partially or mostly deleted/lost.

It is appreciated when customer service reaches out to enhance our WebPT experience. It would improve the continued relationship with WebPT if a customer care/service person is designated for a clinic and can help walk each clinic through any and all particular nuance of WebPT.

Pros

For the most part easy to navigate though documentation. Once you have used WebPT for a few months you can develop an efficient system for effective notes. Thus allowing for customization for your specific needs via Smart Text. WebPT allows for detailed documentation which is so important in this day and age. In addition WebPT is follows Medicare guidelines having reminders in place for PRs, etc. Customer service has been good.

Cons

Difficulty in use of the flowsheet as point and click requires quite a bit of scrolling to get to the exercises desired. Developing own exercise flow sheet takes time. Smart texts are not pre-loaded which also takes time to develop own smart text system. Compatibility with Apple systems was limited when we first started with WebPT.

it's easy to use and help save lots of time. We can also fax document to physician from the software

Cons

WebPT gave me the quote and changed the price without notice . Howeve, the price they charged was different as the new rate they sent to me . Even though they adjusted the price for the next month, they charged me even higher for the following month, DOUBLE the rate for one full time and one part time providers.
They are dishonest at all.

With the new price increase I'm unsure if WebPT is still worth the money.

Pros

I love that WebPT has a lot of features integrated into the system and that it takes me a fraction of the time to write notes than it did when I had to write them by hand at a previous clinic.

Cons

WebPT has outdated tests for SLPs, I've had clients who were unable to access their records through the system, and I've had other clinics who didn't receive full Taxes from the system.

They seem to be one of the more affordable systems. Most users that I have spoken with really liked it, so I may be the exception.

Pros

customer service is out of this world. they reply right away, and bend over backward to please you.

Cons

the problem is when they can't help you. They several of our documents over the course of a couple of years. No problem, we re-wrote them (not the best solution). The bad hit the proverbial fan when they lost an entire chart. It was pretty difficult to recreate that from memory. They checked their backup systems and said the documents never existed. What is even more telling is that it was the same chart that they had helped us with the week before, when they moved a document for us.

Web pt is a well constructed piece of software. It is very user friendly, and it can handle all of your EMR, scheduling and billing needs to run a successful therapy rehab facility. The tech support personnel at Web PT are extremely knowledgeable about the product and they typically have any issues I have resolved in a matter of minutes.

Pros

Easy to lean and use. Support staff are very knowledgeable of software program and its web based for ease to finish charting.

Cons

It can be a little expensive if you have a lot of staff employed, but other then that I love Web PT!

They are a great company overall and listen to our concerns and try to make changes to make everyone happy. Its kind of like being a parent with 30000 kids. We are needy and all want different things for our clinic. :)

Pros

What I like most about this program is the versatility with the set up of the templates and the fact that they are always up to date on all of the changes with insurances.

Cons

I do not like that two people can be in a chart at the same time and that there is no wait list. The scheduler is not very user friendly to set up templates.

Overall, this is one of the better documentation software available. It has been around for a while and they seem to know what a PT and its office would need.

Pros

1. It is user friendly
2. It has many levels to it such as scheduling, and billing
3. It double checks all documents which helps especially with certain insurances
4. Options for patient to get reminders and paperwork via the web or text

Cons

It is expensive. Each item such as scheduling and billing is separate and each user is a separate cost as well.

I accepted and signed The price they quoted me before onboarding. Now that I already am onboard and spent/ invested so many hours learning the system, etc, they claim that there's something wrong and that they have to increase my monthly rate! It's infuriating. I WASN'T the one that made the mistake! It's them. I feel like they lied to me to get my business!!!!! and when you're with them, they probably feel like they can just increase your price!!!!

Pros

Accepting the fact that there's not a lot of good EMR SYSTEM for outpatients, this one is ok. Easy to understand.

Enough positive that we've used it since 2012. We have seen several good updates, but as with all updates they change other things in the program. They seem to have amateur IT staff.

After transitioning over to WebPT, we ended up having to go back to Quickbooks. We are now using Clinic Source and it is amazing for ST. We are now very happy after the past 4 months of chaos.

Pros

Representative on Onboarding and on Therabill support are the stars of the team. There is not anything else positive to report

Cons

There is no versatility. Once something is entered there is no way to go back and change it; It requires the purchase of 2 programs to make it work both WebPT and Therabill; The cost is high and there is no coordination between the two programs. WebPT knows nothing about Therabill and vice versa. WebPT just bought out Therabill and they don't know how to run it, it was down for 2 days; They have poor customer service often taking a week or more to respond with help. Overall this program has been an absolute disaster for our company.

Cons

Pros

I love that WebPT allows customization of so many areas so we can make it work best for us - we are not stuck with a one size fits all approach. We select what color / style appointments show up in to reflect what payer type or appointment type is scheduled. We can bulk edit the schedule to make it fit our therapists availability. They have an agreement with Kareo so our billing flows over easily. I also love the reports to keep good tabs on what we are doing and how things are processing.

Cons

I am waiting for them to fine tune a few things to come along side us even more for compliance when we do addendums.

I like that WebPT has informative blogs available and good customer service. It's easy to access patient records and choose exactly what you need to print.

Cons

The faxing mechanism could be improved. The report menu should offer more choices. Also, the insurance entry should have more than (2) insurances that migrate to Kareo. Sometimes we have patients with (3) insurances due to liability or other instances.

Super fast and easy to use

Pros

We did a lot of research prior to switching over to a web based program and WebPT came highly recommended. As a PT it makes my documents fast and easy. They are constantly keeping up-to- date with Medicare/Medicaid requirements and other documenting needs. The average daily note takes 2-3 minutes to complete which is very nice!

Cons

Being a web based program on occasion their server can go down which means we can not document or schedule patients.

I like that WebPT integrates with our billing software Kareo. The setup was easy when we did the integration.

Cons

The one thing I dislike in WebPt is that every time to want to move around the screen and go somewhere else in a patients chart it has a pop-up asking if you want to leave the page. So annoying!

What I like most about WebPT is the overall ease starting this service as a new graduate. Plenty of options to pick from for outcome measure and customization of templets.

Cons

I wish there was more customizable options for the home exercise component. Also having more exercises to pick from. The current list is limited.

I have used the software for one year and have found it to be very user friendly for a beginner like myself.

Cons

Sometimes the integration with Therabill doesn't seem to work as seamlessly as it should but for the most part it works very well.
