Very convenient for checking in guests quickly and user friendly for generating sales reports
Being a front desk employee I frequently had to engage with customers to look up class schedules for them, get them booked into classes they were interested in, and handle payment for classes or massages. The MINDBODY system was always very efficient in these tasks and I feel it is optimized for this type of business (spa, massage, yoga studio, etc.). It was very rare that I had to have customers wait while I tried to figure things out because the interface always felt intuitive and this software seemed to have all the options I could hope for.
PROSThis software makes it very easy to check in guests in a timely manner, apply relevant coupon codes, check existing balances, and quickly add items to a guests order. The interface is very intuitive and I feel that I was able to quickly learn it and teach it to new employees. Price modifications and discounts for employees or other special circumstances were very easy and quick to enter.
CONSI found that a couple times there were multiple entries in this system for the same guest. Sometimes one of these entities had a gift card balance or something else that the guest would want us to know about but if we chose the wrong account to look in this would not be immediately clear to us and could cause confusion. It was typically fairly easy to resolve and we were able to consolidate the accounts into one.

Elevate Your Customer Experience with Mindbody
I have been able to connect with new customers and manage the company more effectively thanks to the platform's extensive set of features. I like that I can easily access my schedule, client data, and bookings all in one place and that the interface is easy to use. In addition, I value the array of wellness and fitness services offered on the platform, which has enabled me to expand our services and acquire new customers. Although I find the pricing to be challenging, I believe that the advantages of using Mindbody have outweighed the costs, and I appreciate the platform's various pricing plans for their adaptability.
PROSIt enables me to connect with new customers and expand the business. When I first started using Mindbody to help run a fitness studio, that was one of my personal experiences that sticks out to me. I noticed an increase in bookings and a significant increase in our customer base after using the platform for just a few weeks. I trait this accomplishment to Mindbody's easy to understand interface, which permitted me to effectively deal with my timetable, offer advancements and limits to clients, and draw in new clients through the stage's pursuit and disclosure highlights. I also appreciated Mindbody's customer service team's level of support; they were always available to answer questions or show me how to get the most out of the platform.
CONSWhen I first started using Mindbody , I found the subscription fees to be quite high, especially when compared to other management platforms that are currently on the market. This is based on my own personal experience. Although I have since discovered that the advantages of using Mindbody outweigh the drawbacks, I believe that the pricing structure could be more adaptable and better suited to the requirements of businesses that are at various stages of growth. Having said that, I appreciate Mindbody's free trial and a variety of pricing options to meet the needs and budgets of different businesses. I still believe that Mindbody is a valuable platform for businesses in the wellness and fitness industry.

New Ownership Destroyed This Product
We have been using this product for over 12 years, and had I written this review six months ago it would have been glowing. However, since ownership changed hands, quality has gone way down. Service outages. Clients unable to log on and register for classes. Old clients that left several years ago whose memberships have been suddenly reactivated.And the most frustrating thing of all is how absolutely tgerrible customer support has been. Every phone call ends with a promise that the customer support person will "look into" the problem. Then, the very next time, you are dealing with a new customer service rep and have to completely explain the problem again. We have been promised the attention of an "upper level" support person, only to have them blow off a planned meeting.We run an extremely professional operation, and the utter incompetence of Mindbody is a truly embarrassing reflection on it.

A Comprehensive Membership Management Solution
Overall, I'm very pleased with Mindbody. It's an easy to use fitness solution that helps me stay on track and reach my goals. I love the convenience of having all my fitness information in one place and being able to book appointments and classes easily. The only downside is that the app can be a bit slow and the search feature is clunky at times.

Not Worth the Expense
Awful. Don't buy this product.
PROSBeing listed among my competitors and found by other users.
CONSThis is the most expensive and clunky application I have ever attempted to use. The back end is just awful. I signed up for three months because Mindbody said it would take that long to see results. At the end I was out $500 and didn't get a single new lead. I am pretty tech savvy when it comes to using online programs and software. This program was such a headache. I didn't need all the bells and whistles they offered. I just wanted to manage my clientele. It was so difficult that I ended up just setting up the basics and, after I received no leads and, they wanted more money for promotion, etc. I cancelled. They continue to call and email me to try to get me to sign up again. I keep asking to be removed from the list. It is awful that Mindbody has such a hold on the market. There are such better products out there that charge less and function better. Don't feel trapped by them. Get out and search for something else if you are unhappy and, especially if, you are losing money.

Is Mindbody Worth the Investment? Our Review Will Surprise You
I have to say that, as an employee who uses Mindbody where I work, the software has been very good overall. We use Mindbody for everything from scheduling appointments, managing client data, processing payments, and running reports. It has become an essential part of our day-to-day operations.I like that Mindbody is flexible; we can customize the software to meet our specific requirements and preferences. We can easily create and modify our class schedule to reflect changes in our programming, for instance, and we can create custom client fields to capture the information that is most important to us.Naturally, there have been difficulties along the way: learning to use the software effectively required some time and training, and there have occasionally been glitches or technical issues that required fixing. Mindbody, on the other hand, has helped us improve our client service while also streamlining our operations, making it a huge asset to our company overall.
PROSAs an employee who uses Mindbody where I work, I have to say that the ease with which it manages our day-to-day operations is what I like best about the software. We are able to manage everything from one platform with Mindbody, including scheduling classes and appointments, processing payments, and tracking client data.One personal occurrence that comes to mind is the time we had to rapidly alter our class schedule as a result of an instructor's last-minute cancellation. We didn't have to spend hours manually updating each client's schedule because Mindbody made it simple for us to update our schedule and send notifications to them. Our customers were pleased with the prompt response, which saved us a great deal of time and effort.In general, Mindbody has revolutionized our business. Instead of getting bogged down in administrative tasks, it has allowed us to concentrate more on providing high-quality services to our customers. We are able to keep our operations organized, stay organized, and ensure that our customers have the best possible experience.
CONSThe learning curve that comes with using Mindbody is something that frustrates me as an employee who uses it where I work. We had to spend a fair amount of time training our staff on how to use it effectively because it took us some time to become familiar with all of the settings and features when we first started using it.When we first started using Mindbody's automated marketing features, one personal experience comes to mind. It took some time to figure out how to use it effectively and ensure that our messaging was effective and on-brand, despite the fact that it is a great tool for communicating promotions and updates to clients.Having said that, I do believe that learning how to use Mindbody is well worth the time spent on it. When you get its hang, a strong and proficient device can assist organizations of all sizes with smoothing out their tasks and offer better support to their clients.

A reliable booking system
It's a multitenant system that hosts different gyms and allows the same login credentials to sign in to different gyms. This makes user onboarding effortless if they are coming from a different gym.
CONSThe mobile UI/UX is bad. The app is buggy, it's difficult to navigate, and does just the bare minimum task ignoring the user experience altogether.

I really enjoy MindBody
I love this app it's very easy to use with a beautiful design, and practical content only things positive about it. It is one of my favorite apps and I can live nowadays with such a beautiful web and technological piece of art.

I like it but..
Mindbody sets a high bar for business software. But unfortunately their quality of customer services does not match the high premium you pay. There are definitely softwares out there that will suit exactly what you are looking for with a support team that is willing to help you in every way at a fraction of the cost.
PROSMindbody is like driving a fully loaded Mercedes Benz. Looks pretty. Has all the features. Very custom and detailed.
CONSCon: way too expensive. customer service plummeted. Not accommodating. Does not matter if you are a long term customer I feel like I am just a number and they could care less if they lose you as a customer or not.

Because Mindbody at the time was an all inclusives software with all the features I was looking for and the price was amazing when I first signed up in 2015.

I outgrew schedulicity and needed more features that they weren't offering at the time.

Frustrating software that causes no end of issues and no one to help!! (that was our experience)
Unprofessional, inept and impossible. We have been tirelessly attempting to deal with Mindbody to help us with our new company and have had so many problems on the way. The "Sad Robot" has to be the most frustrating logos that inform the user that "Something's not working right" has been the most common experience of us as company owners and worst of all, our clients/patients. The first 6 days we couldn't log on to our £300+/month (half price as a special enticement) and no one could help me. Finally we were logged on and as a gesture of goodwill the Mindbody team agreed to waive the first months fee...this was the one and only positive, as sadly things went from bad to worse. Our "onboarder" was [SENSITIVE CONTENT], who was very nice but due to the 8 hour time difference was unable to offer us training before 5pm UK time, when we have our young kids to contend with! So we were provided with a [SENSITIVE CONTENT], who frustratingly wasn't helpful and at times, rather rude. Attempts to ask questions and raise concerns were cut short by her repeatedly interrupting, so much so I actually struggled to attend our training due to her poor attitude and unprofessional approach. We asked her "why don't our clients get confirmation emails when they book online?". She replied "there's a bug". We asked "What's been done and when is it being fixed" to which she replied "You've been added to the list but I don't know when it will be fixed". How can we tell clients that? Proble after problem
PROSThe name is good. The software looks so good when you see it on YouTube, but our experience didn't live up to the promises
CONSThe problems just got worse and worse.... 1. Clients who booked online had their payments rejected. 2. Some were charged twice. 3. Some were booked and then cancelled, then when they tried again, the class was fully booked. 4. Then a whole days worth of payments were then voided, over £600 on our 2nd day of trading....gone! But, all the clients had the payment taken out of their accounts, so we had to ask them to show evidence as our Mindbody software was showing that the payment was voided. It made us look so amateur and clueless. 5. The widgets on the App don't work and the calendar disappears, then the link doesn't work. All the time I am paying my website designer to try to figure this out and no one in technical team is available to talk to him. Despite cries for help and emails to Ross. 6. Our card machine (£199) didn't work. We spent over four hours the day before our launch attempting to talk to a technical team that eventually got it working...for 2 hours and then the next day it didn't work again. So clients can't pay online as it doesn't work, and they can't may at our health hub... as the card machine doesn't work....so they have to pay by cash....who pays by cash and what kind of modern day company demands cash as their online software doesn't work and their card machine doesn't work?.....it makes us....sorry, Mindbody made us look like an absolute joke. 7. Instructors haven't been able to log on 8. We haven't had our payments through to our bank

It is OKAY
I think until recently we were thinking of switching to something else that is more reasonably priced. I stayed on and am now using the new marketing software. We will see if it helps automate our business more.
PROSI like that it has an app and that our clients can easily sign up. Also, the billing makes it easy for a small business like ours.
CONSWe have been using MINDBODY for the last 3 years. I just think it is okay and think there are so many other products out there that have come out that might be better. My biggest gripe is the cost. I wish it scaled more with how big our fitness business is. We have a small business and don't do a lot of volume but in order to get the marketing features we have to pay a huge premium. I also was bothered that that they just increase costs by a lot after we used it for a year and never gave any training about the new features that we HAD to pay for. I don't like that their actual internal network and app don't help get new clients. DON'T ever pay for that feature as it takes a percentage from the sale. You are much better off doing your own sales and marketing.

Mindbody Online transformed my business
I tried to leave Mindbody once to go to Booker (now a MBO owned company) and that was a huge fail. They didn't offer the preferences that worked for my boutique, small studio. MBO has stellar customer service. Also, BOLD is beyond a doubt, the most exciting part of MBO and helping owners stay motivated, inspired and educated.
PROSMindbody offers exemplary customer service. I have been with them for more than 10 years of the 15 years that I have been in business. It's user friendly, innovative and helps business owners to automate their work.
CONSThe price for MBO keeps getting more expensive. Also, the partner companies can add up too.
Reason for choosing Mindbody
Booker could not deliver. I would rather pay a little more (rates weren't too high back then) than pay for scheduling system that didn't function as easy as MBO.
Reasons for switching to Mindbody
Years ago, Booker offered me a free Ipad to switch to their company. They also promised cheaper monthly rates including merchant services processing fees.
