It the pick of the lot
Easy to learn to use and teach staff.
PROSI found it all very user friendly and easy to learn how to use. Customer support has been excellent.
CONSI would have preferred if it had forms also so we could do service agreements in here.

Brevity was way too clunky - I did like that it has service agreements in it, but otherwise it was way harder to use then shiftcare.

Best decision we made!
After having headache after headache with our last software, I finally found Shiftcare and it was the answer to all of our problems! Shiftcare and it's team, were everything that we needed, from customer service excellence to software proficiency! Sometimes we all dread change but this was by far the best change we have had yet! Thank you to the team for making the transition smooth and effortless!
PROSShiftcare was by far, the best decision we made! It not only cut my costs to a fraction of the last company but the customer service is amazing and the software is seamless!
CONSI really have no complaints, and any requests for features I would like, are being worked on by the team! They have been very attentive and understanding!

Reasons for switching to ShiftCare
The other company had less than average customer service. The other company erroneously charged me plus required me to provide them with a card to charge monthly though never providing me with a detailed invoice ahead of time. They would provide one if I asked. The other company charged me per client which became very expensive and when I asked for a lower price, they gave a very small discount per client which did not amount to a reasonable deal. When I discussed all of my concerns the customer satisfaction specialist raised his voice and attempted to argue with me. Honestly, it was a very stressful situation that I am glad to have behind me. Shiftcare is 100% different and better because of it.

A Great App
Once set up, it eases - scheduling and invoicing.
CONSNot enough automation, with profile - where plan is half NDIA and half plan manage.Making set up very long process.When open, the calendar is not current week.When adding staff important documents, document can't be open up to view to ease check up & input of expiry date.There are still some errors in scheduling repeat shifts.2 weeks bulk invoice is not good - should be 4 weeks.I thought I will safe alot of time when I use shift care, but it's still require alot of man power due to the lack of automation.

RECOMMEND IT 100%!!! Its the best system Ive used and suits our business perfectly!
PROSThe price made it affordable for us and we are now able to manage compliance easily. Scheduling the team is super easy and has made communicating change of shifts a breeze.
CONSNothing to report on this, myself and the team love it!
Reasons for switching to ShiftCare
Metcare (Umantec) was super expensive, had zero support, and the platform itself was really unreliable and time consuming to use. Would not recommend it to anyone. The people running it do not care about you at all just want your money.

Scheduling and Billing simplicity
So far since I have missed the switch to Shift Care , I couldn’t be happier. It is so user-friendly for my staff and myself, and has been a huge time saver support staff, if any questions arise, right there to promptly answer any questions. Glad I made the move!

CONSI do not have anything i don’t like with shift care at this time. I am satisfied.

ShiftCare is an easy to use and intuitive process.
Overall, it is a great product. A short learning time with great support and the regular online educational session in Zoom meetings make that an easy process. Continued improvements as they listen to what we need.
PROSWhen we were setting up the desktop with ShiftCare, I was quite surprised at how easy and intuitive it was to get it set up. Took a bit of time but the bulk document upload option made it so much easier.
CONSIt gets a bit frustrating to need to 'refresh' the screen after changes being made in some of the screens..
Reasons for switching to ShiftCare
They cancelled the product midway through our first contract year.

Very happy!
Very positive. I believe it will save us a lot of time as a team.
PROSThe scheduler and level of detail able to be added to ShiftCare for both clients and staff is fantastic. Love the price book too!
CONSWhen using on a volume scale, it becomes costly quickly. I'd also love to see a chat function integrated dow the track, to allow staff to communicate in team chats about clients etc.

Recommended for small to med size businesses
Overall it’s a great product
PROSShiftcare has helped take my small sole trader business and turn it into a medium sized company. It’s easy to use format helps keep me, my team, and our participants / participant representatives organized.
CONSI wouldn’t recommend for larger businesses. There are certain features lacking from the software, but nothing that interferes with what it’s meant to do. The additional features would just help streamline certain thingsFor example, notifications and email reminders around expiring documentation.Being able to have individual shift specific messages pop up for support team.

Great Softwear and product.
My overall experience with shiftcare has been a positive one, where all the work and time is done through this software, I have been able to get back Time to do other important duties in my role in the business. Shiftcare has definitely been a product that has taken a lot of the stress away from day to day duties and would highly recommend this product to all my friends, which I am current doing anyway.
PROSWhen training staff how to use this software I liked the fact that I was able to show them on You tube how this product is used where our supports workers can easily clock in and out of shifts, especially having to input various tasks that they needed to complete in order to clock out. the ease of reporting their current movements and care for the client and being able to share any concerns via the shift care app. One other area that was easy was approving our workers time sheets, and adding areas like KM to their travel.
CONSThere is an area that will need improvement and it would be in the incident report, where it just needs NDIS requirements e.g. What happened before the incident? during incident and after incident , and was there anyway they could avoid this incident in the future... Even adding triggers that may have caused this incident.

Makes book work and scheduling easier
Scheduling is easier invoicing is great and it integrates well with other software such as xero.
PROSWhat I like most is keeping track of schedules to make it easier for staff to login. If there are shifts needed to be covered there's an option for staff to respond to and makes it easier then contacting staff individually. I especially like the note writing, at the end of shifts a lot easier for staff to write progress notes at the end of each shift allowing them to do before going home.
CONSSometimes, it doesn't allow change of addresses.

AP Supports U Shiftcare review.
took a while to get used to all options, which I still am not up to speed with every aspect of Shiftcare, but it is a very useful business tool for all the team.
PROSAccess for Carers and Management and ability to monitor Carers shifts and supports providing, easy access for all.
CONSfor my own use, I would find it too time consuming to enter what I am currently using in my Calendar on a daily basis, to enter notes / meetings / documents this would take too long in Shiftcare for me to utilise at this stage on a daily basis. Brilliant for Carers not for Support Coordinator / Director.

Easy to use software for our private homecare business
We have only needed to use the online technical assistance to help us understand the software. So far everything has met our needs. Any time that I have emailed a ShiftCare representative, their response has always been efficient, friendly and professional.
PROSWe have found ShiftCare very easy to get started and affordable for start-up businesses like ours. We like the clock-in and out feature for staff members to use and the scheduler is very effective ensuring our client service times don't overlap. The document hub for staff certifications tells us as soon as any staff documents are out of date and we need to follow up. So far we haven't hit any major snags but if we do, I know that the back up customer support is available and efficient. There is plenty of information on the app (What's New on ShiftCare section to keep you informed but also know you can get in contact with the ShiftCare staff anytime and they can help you.
CONSNothing yet, still learning all the features and tailoring the software to meet our small business needs.

Simple and easy to use shift management software
ShiftCare has streamlined our scheduling and management of supports. ShiftCare has also simplified our approach to client and staff management of their information and documents.
PROSIts ease of use with minimal training or direction required is advantageous. Allows users to easily record shift times, progress notes and expenses. Notifications are a helpful feature for admins when managing/reviewing shifts.
CONSMobile app could be improved to include more features present on the web version. Reminders for staff to complete case notes for completed shifts would be useful.

Very impresssed! Made my job 1000 times easier.
PROSNot only is the seat out great, there is everything you need on the app. I like how you can change the setting of the app depending if you’re admin or an employee so you should just ab able to see your own clients/shifts.
CONSSometimes it will glitch after restarting mutilple times and not show shifts.

Easy to understand
I'm relieved that I found ShiftCare; rostering staff can be tricky, however, ShiftCare makes it simple. My staff all enjoy using ShiftCare as it organises tasks and progress notes.
PROSIt's super easy to navigate and understand for both our administration and support workers.

I love it and have used it with previous companies. That’s why I wanted to use it when I started my own company
PROSEasy to use, everything you need is on shift care.
CONSI haven’t experienced anything bad yet. If I could suggest something to add on to make it even better, maybe a place employees can chat with one another.
