ComplyALIGN is a great, versitile, document management system for our organization.

PROS

1. Able to organize documents in different stages of the workflow with ease. 2. Able to keep track of where all documents are in the process. 3. Able to track read acknowledgements and view reports.

CONS

There are a couple bugs I've come across, but ComplyALIGN was quick to fix this issues and updated the software.

Wonderful Vendor Partnership - HospitalPortal

Excellent vendor relationship - -extremely responsive and customer service oriented. I highly recommend HospitalPortal (and have) to my colleagues in health care who are looking for an Intranet portal solution.

PROS

As a non-technical staff member (I'm the Employee Communication Manager -- reporting into HR -- not an I.T. staff member), this software is fairly easy to learn and utilize. With a few quick clicks I can upload documents, build new pages, and edit existing content. The search function is very robust and helps our providers and clinicians quickly locate needed forms, policies, and other documentation required for patient care. The build in document control feature is a key feature for our clinical policies and documents.

CONS

Some of the behind the scenes administrative functions are not intuitive to me, but that is more than likely because I am not used to working in a database environment. Support is always extremely helpful and responsive to me whenever I need assistance.

Hospital Portal Questionnaire

In general, I find the software easy to use once you've had some experience becoming familiar with the design.

PROS

Very capable of showing what you want it to do.

CONS

Would like more flexibility with what the user sees, especially in home page design.

Overall, we really love our new intranet! It is easy to use and navigate.

Increased internal communication Easy access to frequently used documents Streamlined process for policies & procedures Combined all of our contracts into one location Employee engagement through forums & event postings

PROS

I really like that editing and updating pages is easy. We have so many different departments that each have unique needs -- and having each of those departments trained to update their own sections of our intranet is a major component of why we chose HospitalPortal. Everyone has ownership in keeping things current, and no one person has to be the "keeper" of the intranet. The other thing that I really like is how responsive the support folks are! Anytime I have a question or issue -- they have been incredibly helpful and follow up quickly.

CONS

There are a few kinks that can be frustrating (editing text colors & sizes seems to hiccup a lot), and there are some functions that I would like to be added. The on-call schedule took a while for folks to catch onto, and it is generally great, but can be confusing to work with on last-minute changes.

Needed a Refresh

We had have the Intranet product in place for about 5 years. It was working good. We opened a new facility and shortly after refreshed the product and gave it a new look and feel. Scot and the developers were right on top of what we needed and offered many suggestion to make the look and feel of the site easy to navigate. It was a great experience and a very economical investment. Support is great and there is information and educational articles sent from the company on a regular basis.

Great product for internal communication!

The first steps were somewhat daunting. Figuring out who will do what and who is going to take care of the upkeep. Once all of that was figured out though it was pretty easy to get things created and keep the intranet maintained. It's outstanding that Hospital Portal keeps developing new features to improve the quality of life for their portal and they are usually innovative with their features. Few tweaks here and there but nothing substantial. Overall I'm happy with the product we received and they are very good at communication with their customers.

A great company and product!

Easy to implement and support is great

PROS

It is great to be able to let each department control their own pages. The users have really like the on-call feature.

CONS

Some of the workflow development is challenging and forms are limited in the look and customization ability. Sometimes when developing workflows, the test versions clutter up the results.

This has made managing our policies and forms so much easier

PROS

I like the ease of use of this program. It has all of our policies organized in such a way that is extremely efficient for our facility.

CONS

One thing I could recommend for this software would be when I run my policy reports. I either have to choose the entire database of documents and sort through the ones I don't need or download each department's report separately. It would be helpful to be able to choose multiple policy folders to run in one report.

HealthStream Policy Manager is an exceptional software. It effortlessly facilitates page editing and updates, accommodating diverse departmental needs. Moreover, its user-friendly interface and top-notch customer service enhance operational efficiency.

CONS

HealthStream Policy Manager is a reliable software with room for improvement. Consolidating policy reports and fixing HTML editor glitches would enhance user experience. Additionally, addressing text editing hiccups and refining the on-call schedule feature would be beneficial.
