The most efficient and valuable client portal I've found

PROS

Invoicing and payments are easy to set up and integrate into your portal's workflow. Branding options are great. The value for what you pay is incredible. The features I mentioned, adding users and delegating tasks, and managing multiple projects is where Kitchen.co really shines.

CONS

There are some limitations when customizing your branding and template files. Most emails are customizable, but some don't allow you to remove Kitchen's branding (if a certain option is checked in the settings). I want to keep this option checked, but customize it for my company, which I'm unable to do without the ability to customize the templates for all emails.Some features could use some more compatibility or styling work. For example, if you add a lot of text to subtasks for example, the text won't wrap. Also, if you copy an email message from a discussion into a task, then it will lose all newlines and other formatting.

The simplicity of Kitchen.co when compared to other products proved to be very effective as it related to my organization. Kitchen has everything I need, and almost nothing I don't.

Kitchen has had a good start but needs to improve and scale as a company, so that our companies can scale with their tool.

It is good but needs a lot of improvement to be a fully scalable option for most companies. If they wont make any big upgrades to the tool I might jump ship to notion in order to scale my business. I cant wait for their team to progress. Since the documocu has launched they havent updated anything on the roadmap for at least 3 months now.

Optimize and streamline project management tasks with Kitchen.co.

PROS

It streamlines our project management tasks by automating them which in turn makes the tasks easy and faster to perform. It brings together our projects and streamlines them promoting collaboration within the organisation which drives insights. Very easy to use because it has a very friendly and easy to use and comprehend interface which keeps on updating itself bringing the latest interface features. We found it to have no application errors therefore it is a software we can rely on.

CONS

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about the software because we find it to be very reliable and helpful in our project management tasks.

Literally the best CRM/Project Management tool for Design Agencies!

This tool has been a cornerstone of our success and growth throughout the last year and I thoroughly enjoy using this on a daily basis.

PROS

I love everything about this software - and the team at Kitchen is really responsive, helpful, and willing to make any improvements that bring value to their platform.

CONS

I didn't really like the carbonara update - however I understand why they did it and I am slowly getting used to it. I think the reason I didn't like it is because I was getting used to the original layout they had, and then it felt like such a big change. But this is just my own opinion, and shouldn't be weighed as a negative.

Keap was very expensive, and we didn't need many of the tools that it had.

Great project management tool with a lot of additional features

Overall I am really impressed of kitchen.co - it is very intuitive, has a great UX design and all tools to handle projects easily; the collaboration within the team and also with clients is great! I would like to emphasize that the support is great; you get a helpful, friendly and competent reaction very soon and you really can "feel" that the team is working hard to improve their product day by day. I have tested a lot (and I really mean: a lot) of PM tools and this is one of the three best (IMO).

PROS

First of all the design is great and especially the options to adapt the design to your own brand design. The app runs quickly and has all needed options to manage small and big projects. Collaboration within the team but also with clients is great and very easy to learn - everything is self explaining, so you don't need time to introduce your team. The idea to work with folders and nested folders (comparable with the "Explorer") males it easy to structure the projects. It would be great to have a dashboard where you can combine the most important files, projects, documents and folders.

CONS

I am currently waiting for the announced features that will we deployed soon - e.g. the integration of google calendar. I also would love to see (in other words: I need it urgently) to have a mobile app. It's possible to access kitchen.co with a mobile, but it's a bit complicated to work with it on a small screen. What I also would like to see: - assign people and deadlines also to subtasks (as I heard, they are working on it)- iOS / mobile app- Desktop App- Scheduling option that allows to drag and drop tasks into a calendar which is synced with the google calendar

Nifty is a great tool too, but it gets confusing when you have many projects. It has many many functionalities, but in some cases it's too much. But to be honest: I love both :)

Great tool for freelancers!

So far I have had a positive experience. I would like a longer free trial to really decide if this is the best tool for me and my business.

PROS

If you are a freelancer, this is a great budget friendly tool for project, client, and task management. And really gives your business/brand a professional polished look. I like portal feature that gives my clients secure access to project documents/files in one place. I also like the folder management that allow me to organize project and control access level. And the Kanban boards are great for task management.

CONS

I would like to have more customization features, more plugins/app integrations, desktop notifications/alerts, and the ability to embed more things like loom videos, weblinks and other apps that I use to run/manage my business. Right now you can only embed short links.

Overall, Kitchen is a real tool that greatly helps in exchanges with the customer, it allows you to bring everyone together in the same interface. I think the tool can become a giant on the market, with an even more user-friendly interface.

Very happy customer who is loving using Kitchen

Quite simply, excellent!

PROS

Very simple to use, both for me as a freelancer and also for my clients. In very little time I've been able to set myself up with a nice, fast way to organice my projects and my communication with clients. I often struggle to keep on top of task management and emails, and this has made both of those extremely easy. Clients have also given very positive feedback. The team at Kitchen are also very responsive to my questions and requests :)

CONS

I would like a little more flexibility in customising the dashboard, but to be honest from my initial dealings with the platform and the team, I have every confidence it will continue to grow in ways that improve everything I am looking for. Also tasks could be improved by adding repeating tasks, but I believe that this is on the roadmap, so again I am more than happy to wait for this

you'll make a strong impression to your customers

Great experience, very reactive team, all my questions were answered very quickly. they take the time to assist you and again, the tool is very impressive.

PROS

Setting up a client portal that looks professional and allows you to communicate, share files and organize your projects is very easy with Kitchen. It will help you save time since you won't have to send tons of emails anymore. The design is great, intuitive and quick, and it's also affordable. Your clients will be reassured by the credibility you'll show them thanks to this solution.

CONS

The only thing that could be improved is the fact that some translations in french are not always 100% accurate but for me it's a detail (on the website is stated that the translation to french is still in Beta).

Freedom of creation of folder for clients. Freedom in terms of a communication with client. Great balance when it comes to pricing - I'm gonna to buy lifetime license once I will complete my first project

CONS

They should put a roadmap somewhere - maybe I'm missing that one? and try to include me as being their customer ready to be interview frequently.

It got pricing model and feels like freedom - the freedom in the way that got a good free tier - good quality - and because of that I will give them lifetime license - It will be not good if they will start to mess with their pricing model as it has got great balance right now.

Simplest yet the most complete Client Portal ever

Very easy onboarding. 10/10!

PROS

I have tried multiple platforms and tool to create the easiest possible to use Client Portal. Clients do not like complex stuff, but we still need a place where we can keep files, manage projects and tasks, communicate and keep all the invoices in a collaborative way. It's not about what tools is the most stuffed with features, but what tool adapts to your and your clients needs. Kitchen.co is 100% a tool that adapts to our needs.

CONS

Max files size is currently 1gb. And there are still some tiny bits that are a bit basic, but enough to operate with clients.

It's easier for our clients. We do not mind using any tool internally but we had to choose one that our clients would use too.

Even though we previously used ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana and the last one Trello in search of ease of use to collaborate with our clients, there always has been some friction or missing features.

Game changer!

Kitchen has been an absolute game changer for how I run my project based business. I’m able to easily manage all of my projects, provide updates, share information all without having to depend so heavily on email. My clients love it and it helps to set and enforce boundaries!

PROS

Kitchen is ready to use immediately! You don’t have to spend a bunch of time setting up the tool which is great. It’s also very easy for my clients to jump right in and navigate so it eliminates the need of me spending so much time explaining the tool to them.

Kitchen is Fantastic! Highly Rated Client Portal Management Tool

My clients now have an all-in-one solution for keeping track of all their work, future requests and ongoing jobs. The feedback from clients has been overwhelmingly positive.

PROS

Kitchen is by far the best and most intuitive platform I have found to help run my Design Subscription business. The merge from a competitor was easy and simple, the onboarding for clients is simple and clear, managing projects and tasks was easy, and communication and asset sharing as well. Everything is perfect!

CONS

The only things I have found were small tweaks to features I have used in other management tools, nothing has been bad or not working. The team explained everything perfectly and has taken on all feedback with improvements to the platform added to their internal roadmap.

The best client portal for agencies. Its flexibility makes it powerful.

I am transferring all my clients to the platform. I aim to organize it in the most effective way, but so far, I have not encountered any limitations in adapting it to my company. My overall experience has been very positive. I highly recommend it for those who want to establish structure in their agency, with a centralized and collaborative space for the team and clients.

PROS

This tool is awesome because it’s super flexible and easy to use. You can learn it in no time and start using it right away. Plus, the design and usability are top-notch, leaving a great impression on clients. They’re always updating it too. I’ve tried a bunch of tools and customer portals, but this one is the best.

CONS

Actually, I’m very happy. However, as suggestions for minor improvements, I would like there to be more options in the tasks. The ability to track time in-app is crucial for a service agency. Also, the client view seems a bit basic to me. It would be very useful to have more information, such as the projects each client is involved in, for example.
