I've been able to create a multi-page pamphlet/brochure for my business with this software. It's just great overall and very easy to use.

I appreciate that Apache has made such a contribution, a simple, easy to use and fully compatible software for free.

Its a large community that uses and supports OpenOffice. I have found solutions for everything I've needed.

I like that this software is free and give the user the ability to create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents and save them in native Windows formats.

I was unable to use this software in the production of my online courses. It does not allow voice-over PowerPoint that I use all the time.

I dislike the border that frames the page while composing Word documents in OpenOffice.

Customer service is a bit lacking but at the worst case Open Office can easily be reloaded. On occasion when sharing with other spreadsheets becomes a bit difficult.

The only think I dislike is the same thing I dislike about all text editors, they're clunky when doing anything other than typing.

It's free but has great community support. I hope they keep doing what they're doing there.

Good if you are thin on budget and want some basic functionality.

If you need to use open source in your organization, then of course this is an excellent solution. This is the only undeniable advantage of this office suite.

What I liked most about this product is cost and ease of use as well as portability with Microsoft office.

It's easy to use and has a lot of features. Overall, I'd say it's probably the best alternative to Microsoft products/suite.

Apache is robust and feature rich. As a user I also enjoyed the open software element of it, knowing that I was part a community of users.

The thing I like best about OpenOffice is that if integrated flawlessly with the more expensive, mainstream software packages.

When I was a student and began my career I was using OpenOffice exclusively. If offers excellent capabilities right out of the box and is available even on Linux (my preferred operating system).

This is the best free office software out there. I use this as an alternative to microsoft office 360.

Apache Open office is a free and powerful alternative to all popular office suites. It offers all basic and advance possibilities which other office suites are offering.

It’s great when working with others as it’s free and anyone can use it without having to buy something just to collaborate with you.

I use it to create the newsletter for a local non-profit organization. Easy integration of graphics, graphs, and even embedded video.

This is by far the best free office software. Being open source, it is built by passionate individuals who all want the same thing.

Numbers replaced with non-numeric characters in latest version 4.1.6. I am unable to figure out how to solve this problem.

It's free so accessible to anybody. It's Word software and spreadsheet software have many features which are good.

I love that it's a robust, free text editor. It does what most full featured word processing software does but for no cost.

I'm an author, but like most upcoming artists, saving money is important to me. I felt I was able to do with this great software.

I'm using Linux temporarily and it fitted like a glove. They are more flexible than workflowy and offer dark mode for free which is life changing.

Before having this software I used TheBrain. I've always loved making creative connections between different ideas in a mindmap style.

I absolutely love everything about this. I love getting my head straight by journaling out my thoughts in this nested format—auto-pasting in screenshots, etc. I love the app, too.

I love how you can zoom in on different points and dig even deeper into it.

It is easy, we have only text ( for some kind of use this is enough -like to do notes). I like a lot the organization inside notes, subnores, folders.

Very good app and customer support is on point. Their roadmap seems pretty impressive too.

First, the missing option to view bookmarked links through Dynalist's web clipper.

Though, I am almost certain developer team in Dynalist will implement this feature in no time.

To be quite honest, it is very hard to find something wrong with Dynalist.

I fell in love with design of app and the fact that is very easy to use:outlining triggers, taking notes and many more.

In fact it makes remenmber me a ios tool calledd Trunk Notes, that I miss very much (the desktop counterpart is a mess, and the lua support is horrible). Missing: an editor for ios.

It can work slow sometimes, which make people crazy.

I don't like that if you add a checkbox to a list point, then you'll see both the point (dot) and the checkbox.

I love that I can easily write my daily schedule and it automatically synchronizes with Google calendar. It's super easy to use (can you write a list?) but it can also be advanced if you want it to.

It's in english, no other languages are available. And no option to change date formatting.

I really like that Dynalist has created a full suite of apps for Apple (Mac, iPad, iPhone) as well as the web app.
