I was sure that the Creative Cloud connection would blow our computer out of the water, but it seemed to hold its own pretty well. #### Cons Finding something related to an old project is almost impossible unless you remember the actual strange ID number associated with the item since the search function just quits searching once you type something into it. Too many buttons are available on this software. Basecamp brings all conversation/documentation related to each project into one central area. Simply assign a task to a team member with a deadline and every other team member will know exactly where they stand. The back-and-forth question process is greatly reduced. No longer do we need multiple applications to complete a task. #### Cons The user interface is quite slow/ugly and frustrating when you're working on a lot of projects at once. Disappointing that you cannot customize the dashboard, nor can you add any advanced filtering capabilities. Great for small/simple tasks; however, if you want to perform any type of complex manipulation of your data, forget about it. My boss occasionally complains about their pricing model changing. Blueprints were somewhat confusing when we first set them up but glad that we don’t have to start from scratch every single time. Before Basecamp we would lose client feedback in slack channels but Basecamp holds everything together. I need to go take my dog for a walk he's chewing the door and barking. It also has this dashboard (I think) that did not crash when we were able to add some outside clients to our workspace. To be honest I thought most likely all of the integrations would fail and we were able to connect outlook and get all of our emails. #### Cons Basecamp sends me way too many emails on new Features that no one has requested, so they fill up my email box. If you want one simple report you will have to pay an additional $30 dollars per month per person. There are tons of problems that were fixed in this release compared to the last one (it used to log you out after 5 minutes), so it's good at least you know, unless it was a really great flow where you'd never be logged out within 5 GO. #### Cons The pricing is somewhat high considering how much functionality you receive. The first thing I used was Trello, but it broke pretty soon at more than a couple of employees and I had to buy Basecamp. This system provides the client with an opportunity to see their own, proof and marketing schedule, taking out a lot of phone calls. I was pleasantly surprised the AI formatted my notes correctly, unlike other programs that create chaos with them. We do all our frontend and QA ticketing thru Basecamp, it is nice that they do not vanish into thin air. They also provide us with an additional view of the board and calendar, which is whatever. #### Cons The most frustrating thing about Basecamp is sometimes it seems like they put to much emphasis on features and I lose track of where things are located, especially finding the CRM section. It was very conducive to what I had going on as far as my internship instead of a studio for years.
