EMDESK platform pros & cons
I like how you can visualize the entire project and have all the information in a single platform and tool.
PROSIt is a software completely aligned with the European programs. It is very versatile for project design and for project management.
CONSIt is difficult to prepare the Gantt and introduce in the software the project resources and all the information when you are preparing a proposal. You have to invest time in it and compared to other tools (i.e., Excel) it is not that simple.
Reason for choosing EMDESK Platform
There are other project management platforms but these are not designed for European projects.
Reasons for switching to EMDESK Platform
The fact that you can have all the info in a single online platform and you can share the info with others. Also, it is designed for European projects. However, all the users have to be familiar with EMDESK to be able to use it.

A good experience with EMDESK
Using EMDES as a project coordinator has allowed me to easily manage projects, ensuring proper compliance with the work plan, continuous verification of work development and correct use of resources. All of this also allows for easy preparation of periodic and final project reports.
PROSIt is very important software for the continuous management of a project, allowing a complete and updated view at any time. In general, it is easy to use and the technical support is efficient and quick to respond.
CONSThe impossibility of editing files of various extensions on the platform, namely Word, Excel, Power Point and others, which greatly limits teamwork.
Reason for choosing EMDESK Platform
I did not find in the market, the first time I used EMDESK, another product with functions equivalent to EMDESK. As the first experience was very good, in the second project, as coordinator, I decided to use EMDESK again.

EMDESK is a great tool to monitor and manage multiple projects
I am a great enthusiast of EMDESK and I recommend it quite often.
PROSThe "one-solution-for-all-needs" mentality, I do appreciate most. This approach will help me now and in the future to use less single tools for different needs. EMDESK can support many project management needs with one single platform.
CONSAn older version of EMDESK was used by us for a number of years. The new EMDESK is much more advanced and I was very positively suprised by the new layout and new functionalities. However, some important tools are still under development, such as the project calendar or also the 'track-changes' option in EMDoc, when working collaboratively in the team on one document. If the development would be a bit faster, I would have more good arguments for our project partners to decide now for EMDESK. Currently some projects, mainly those with very tight budget, prefer the 0€ costs options out there, even if using multiple ones is then needed for having all the features wanted, and even if the safety of their data is then not guaranteed.

EMDESK had more functionalities to offer.

I use EMDESK to manage my tasks in multiple EU projects
EMDESK is best used if you are a project coordinator, however you can effectively manage multiple projects as partner and keep track of all the main deliverables and milestones with a single software
PROSEMDESK is a project management software built for EU projects. The structure of the tool mirrors the format of EU projects and this makes life of an EU project manager easier than other more general software management tools that need to be adapted.
CONSI'd like to see more features designed for managing day- to-day routines and minor tasks that you need to carry out to achieve project milestones. However the regular software updates tend to introduce more and more flexibility and with a bit of creativity you can adapt the activities and events to most of your needs

The EMDESK support team is always available, they genuinely listen to customers advice to improve the platform with regular updates.

Great platform for great value
The interface is very clean and objective. Functionalities are easy to find and configure.
CONSSome missing features are very important on a daily basis for users with multiple projects, such as the possibility to remove/delete a project and include personalized projects templates.

PROSI like workplan with all capabilities. It would be great to have all tasks view, even with smaller icons

a good platform for gathering information together and keep track of deadlines
EMDESK allows to keep track of tasks and deliverables easily. The reporting function on budgets are really useful.
CONSthe user interface is very complex. the Gantt chart printing options are not useful (had to redo it in a different software to make it look ok)

Review of a trial of EMDesk
EMDesk enables the tracking of projects for the daily routines of project management processes.
PROSI wasn't able to fully use the tool and, up to now, all features presented seem to be needed. Nothing in special cought my attention.
CONSThere are no options to create projects from existing projects or templates (including tasks). It is desirable to track projects also considering events (milestones and deliverables).

Brief user Review for EMDESK
The Working Packages organization translating into kanban and gantt diagrams
CONSIt is a little difficult to initiate the project setup from the zero, if the project does not fit into any template.
