It has NEVER gone down once since we've been using it in over 2 years, and the support is just fantastic...not that you'll need it much, since it's so darn easy to use and manage! #### Cons Their monthly pricing is a bit/lot higher than it should be, and the fact that you cannot select or manage your credit card provider means that you don't even have the option to shop around for the best deal in processing rates. SiteLink has to be installed on a single PC that stores everything, and the mobile/cloud version is complete garbage! It's hard to use, hard to learn, and looks like something from the early 90's. Oh, and it's CRAZY expensive with LOUSY support! I'd never use SiteLink again, nor do I recommend it to anyone. The price and simplicity for smaller properties is seriously #1! I took on the management of 2 separate self-storage businesses, only because of Easy Storage Solutions. The owners couldn't afford & didn't need the large & pricey systems out there for self-storage, and their only alternative was Quickbooks, which does not fit self-storage. They were frustrated, and I was able to step in and organize their properties easily and set up auto-billing & auto-pay on top of it, with simple flat-rate card fees. But for the 2 smaller self-storages I manage, with 150 and 33 units respectively, it was too expensive and more than needed. ESS was the perfect fit and the price is right. #### Reasons for switching to Easy Storage Solutions I spent a day looking at Quickbooks and could NOT get my head wrapped around it. I told the owner "I'm so sorry but I'll need to take a class in Quickbooks before I can take on your property, it's harder than I thought." The owner replied, "Well, use whatever software you want, then." Bingo -- I'd known about Easy Self-Storage and immediately transferred everything to it. The customers that don't pay are discovered quickly (I always have a few, but it is amazing how many pay and pay on time. Once I purchased the software and was up and running, life became easier and more profitable. My customers like it (most of them). They can monitor their account and pay online. I still receive cash payments (very few) and checks. By far most payments are online. My goal is to make every unit pay every month. I think that I'm currently doing that. #### Cons I think the only thing that I can think of is the daily charge. Support is helpful when I call them if they are able to help #### Cons The main feature that I have called over and over again , their software does not have a auto fee that if customer uses credit/debit card that they are charged a fee automatically to cover our cost as a company. Our clients don't use their cards every month and with 500 clients it is extra work to go in monthly and change fees when a auto draft on software could help especially now with more fees being added from the company. You are making now .25 per transaction and I still have to do all the work . I have made request for the last year every time I have called and have not gotten any feedback from anyone. I should be able to move Prorating options when renting. We use the 3rd option and my part time help can't seem to remember to use third option on drop down. I wish I could move that option to top of drop down. There's voodoo in the vibes with the top leadership. Sr. Mgmt hides behind the customer facing teams and refuses to ever engage. It's an obvious cultural and philosophical design of operations. So if you do need to escalate a serious issue, it's virtually impossible to do so. I am actually in this industry (Business software technology) and intimately know the challenges of maintaining a quality Support organization, response and resolution time. The renting customer-facing call center is good, the marketing team is good, the software is good, but the user-facing Support org is off-the-charts exemplary. #### Cons Enhancements are unicorns. Help with problems and set was quick and efficent. #### Cons Not a Canadian company. No choice of payment card system.
