PROS

Personalized service, live support, longevity and accessibility. I also know the team well and consider them to be 100% ethical and honest, which is really a breath of fresh air these days!

CONS

There really aren't any negatives other than cost, which is not to say they are "pricey" but I'm extremely cheap and want everything for free. Obviously, that's not possible where quality of service is required.

Very happy with TextBox

We have been using Textbox in all our offices for several years. We have been very happy with it and the customer support that we get we have questions. The interface is very, very basic but its a good thing. The only thing I would say is it could use a face lift to make it look more sexy but this does not affect the functionality of the program in any way. We did move over from another program and were very pleased with the pricing of Textbox.

CONS

Pretty basic. The overall look could use a facelift. Kind of old school looking.

Decent platform with limitations

PROS

My favorite feature of TextBox is the desktop notifications.

CONS

There is a lack of group messaging and no really intuitive way to send and receive MMS.

Reasons for switching to TextBox

We needed multiple people to be able to use the software and the cost was less with TextBox.

Thanks for the feedback! I have reached out to review the group and MMS capabilities and a few more things. TextBox allows sending messages to multiple recipients but not the kind where all parties see all recipients or respond to all. To our knowledge, only true cell phone numbers can do that. MMS is currently limited to picture (not audio, video, pdf, doc, etc) messages.

Easy to use

They've always been attentive and helpful.

PROS

Makes life so much easier to be able to text back and forth with customers instead of phone calls. No one likes to answer the phone and you have to wait for voice mail, and many times they don't even listen. Everyone texts and makes us more efficient. We use it every day, 20+ a day.

CONS

It doesn't show text history easily. You have to send a text to the person for previous history to show up on older texts. High cost to add picture attachments (which we don't use).

Reason for choosing TextBox

We've been using it for so long, I don't recall who else I looked at. I did use a free trial for testing and liked it, so then signed up.

Hello Beth, There is another way to see previous text history without texting the person. When you search for their conversation, click on the More button toward the top. That button loads older messages in the background. After you click that a few times, you should be able to click on the conversation again and it will populate the old messages. Game Changer

TextBox gives us the ability to communicate with our members how THEY want to communicate. Not only is it convenient and members love it, but it also is excellent for keeping track of conversations and looking back at them when needed. We use TextBox literally every department of the credit union. From lending and collections to credit/debit and Member Service.

PROS

TextBox is easy to use for employees and members absolutely love the ability to text us. I also love the scheduled text ability and the auto-responders.

CONS

It works wonderfully, but if I HAD to say that there's a "Con", I'd say it's not as "pretty" as it could be. Like I said though, it works absolutely great and this one small item does not affect my A+ rating of them. Now that I think of it, maybe it's a good thing it has this simple look - it is incredibly easy to use because of it!

Great Value

being able to reach customers and interact at their convenience. Also the ability to send and receive pictures is extremely helpful for our business.

PROS

I like the ease of use. In today's age most people prefer text over a phone call even in business. So by having the ability to send and receive messages & pictures it allows much faster and more convenient communication with our customers. Also the price is a great value for what it offers and allows my business to do.

CONS

the only thing that is tough is that if too many people in my business have access to the textbox software then sometimes everyone things someone else will respond. it would be nice if the text was distributed to individuals without adding a different #

I recommend Text Box for a starter texting program.

It served a very useful purpose until we needed all new phones. I would highly recommend for businesses getting started with texting clients.

That we were not able to fully integrate texts into our veterinary computer program.

We love TextBox and are always telling everyone about it.

This software helps us save our customers money. It helps us better serve our customers in a timely manner. Saves us and our customers time.

PROS

The ease of use. Times saving. Well I am not liking that this survey is requiring more of my time than I wanted. It will not let me put in a simple answer.

CONS

Sometimes it takes way too long to received the messages. From time sent, to time received, it takes too long.

Thank you Shawn, unfortunately, we're primarily at the mercy of the mobile carriers for delivery timing. 99%+ of the time, the message is inserted into their networks in less than 2 seconds. From there their network controls the rest.

We love TextBox!

It's a wonderful system and we love it!

PROS

I love how easy and efficient it is to use. We can also attach photos, which is nice. It's great for mass texts or individual use. Great product and the support team is awesome! Very responsive to our needs.

CONS

I wish that we could text more than 1 photo at a time & I also wish we could text larger counts. Currently it cuts off a 250 characters.

Happy we have TextBox service.

Customer service has been great. If we have any questions, the textbox staff has been very helpful. We have an answer in minutes and we are back to work.

PROS

I am very happy there is a way our sales staff can text our customers and mill rep from our land. Happy to Not have our sales force using their personal cell phones to communicate for business.

CONS

Classic's Staff all have Apple phones and we will be happy to have the able to text pictures from our phones with needing to upload and then text to a customer. That step is a lot more tedious than I though it would be when we are in the middle of closing a sale or showing a customer a picture of a product or trim needed. We are also struggling with opening pictures in the program. (to view, click, save, then open) Saving to send pictures, now is only one at a time. It just takes a while.

Business Texting Works!

PROS

Textbox allows me to use my current business number as a texting avenue to reach customers. I can send messages as groups, subgroups, or individuals. The program allows instant sending of messages as well as advanced prepared and scheduled messages. Very interactive and efficient

CONS

I have no issues with the program. It is wonderful.

TextBox by Line1 Communications Review

Over all I think it is pretty fair price is decent desktop dashboard works pretty well.

PROS

The fact that you can use your exisiting landline number and turn it into a number that can send and receive text messages.

CONS

The mobile app is seriously lacking. Main thing I would like to see on the mobile app is the "Dashboard" settings so you can be simultaneously logged into all active accounts. This enables a manager to keep track of all accounts easily and make sure they are being handled properly. I would like to see the texts load a bit faster.

Really enjoy Text Box and have already told other business about it.

PROS

The thing that grabbed me most was that I could use my own business phone number to receive texts. Not having to use my personal cell phone number or a cell number I may even change from time to time. Rather I could use my real and permanent business number.

CONS

Nothing really maybe that I can't (at least don't know how) to attach a photo to my customers who are requesting information but I can at least give them a link to my website showing the picture - but that adding a photo would be helpful.

This software provides a platform to text your customers and allows admins and managers to have over site and visualization on how and when your company is interacting via text with potential customers.

CONS

Some of the feature are rudimentary in nature however; Line one is continually improving there product and software.

Easy for our younger clients

Easy to use. Our clients can text our main office number & send documents & photos. Highly recommend this program.

PROS

Many of our younger clients, will not answer the phone when we call them. They don't check their email very often, BUT WHEN WE TEXT THEM USING THIS APP, THEY RESPOND immediately. WORTH IT COST BY 10 FOLD.

CONS

No cons for our agency. Never have to give our clients our personal cell phone number any more.

It's hard to make contact with clients by telephone or email, especially the younger group. Everyone responds to a text message almost immediately. It also allows me to keep telephone time or time responding to an email to a minimum. I don't give my cell number to everyone so it gives me a little more privacy.

PROS

The program is very easy to setup and use. The easy of setting it up on my cell phone and iPad.

CONS

Been a user for one year. Haven't run across any negatives.
