The software itself was very easy to use. We had a slightly different need when we started and the staff at IMS was great to respond to our needs.

Very user friendly and helps us with distributions, K-1s, tracking communications.

I like that there is an email functionality embedded and that investors are generally able to retrieve their documents on the portal seamlessly.

The only complaint is setting up some of the more complicated calculations for distributions when there are waterfall calculations.

The K-1 matching engine and the ease with which we can communicate with our clients and get them the up to date information they need.

It also helps us to be more process oriented and in control of our touch points with investors. The software is constantly being improved and bugs are quickly fixed.

There is no financial reporting capabilities integrated into the software.

The budget tracking along with the invoice, contract, and COI tracking is excellent. The system is intuitive to use and generates helpful data and graphs.

It has streamlined the approval process for our project invoices and allowed for clean and consistent tracking of project budgets and expenses.

I love that it allows for a quick review of financial data with backup available at the click of a button.

Overall I have always had a very positive experience while using Northspyre but if there was one thing that I struggle with I would say it is Report Builder feature.

I might not be aware of it, but it's challenging to project future costs. Uploading Change Order proposals and then the formal Change Order gets messy.

It's a relatively easy software to navigate and user friendly. I like that it's web based and users can log in from anywhere.

Our development team likes the ease of putting together draw packages. They also enjoy that Northspyre's team assists in coding and breaking out the GC invoices.

Investor Management Services is a cloud-based platform, which assists real estate investment firms with customer relationship and document management. Key features include distribution workflow, investor dashboard, request tracking and email templates. 


The application enables users to store contact information, create investor profiles and monitor asset type preferences, regional preferences and investment criteria for multiple clients. Team members can use the waterfall calculator to create rule-based workflows for distribution calculation and export NACHA files to process payments. Additionally, investors can access the dashboard to view real-time investment positions, historical distribution data and customizable performance metrics.
