Crelate for ATS

Pros

I liked the way we enter a candidate and tag them to ourselves, so even if another recruiter helps them find a job, we get a part of the commission because they are tagged as our candidate.

Cons

Sometimes more than one recruiter would enter the same candidate, and it would slip through because the name and contact info were not typed/spelled the exact same way - so the system thought it was a different person.

Crelate Talent

Prior to getting Crelate we had only HR software which didn't function well as an applicant tracking system. Crelate has helped so much. We now can make sure people don't slip through the cracks. It keeps us organized and multiple people can see what's going on with our candidates and where they are in the hiring process. Customer service has been helpful and responsive.

Pros

I like the ability to quickly look at the home page and see notes left about applicants by my colleagues and myself. I like the ability to create tasks for myself and others. We have just started using the mass emailing and will try out texting too. This is very useful. The system helps me stay organized with candidates for multiple jobs at all times.

Cons

I don't like how you have to scroll down to view the open jobs. I have multiple pages of openings and it's annoying. I only like one home page view, the other views are too visually cluttered in my opinion. The nice thing is you are able to change the view.

Easy to use

We were not happy with the prior ATS we were using because of how hard it was to follow. The switch to crelate was seamless and great. I love how easy it is to follow and use.

So easy to use and always advancing!

Overall great! This has been my favorite ATS to use; it's colorful and nice to look at.

Pros

Easy to use and intuitive. Always being updated with new things. Friendly and helpful support staff.

Cons

Sometimes need to refresh page for changes to take effect (moving candidates from New to Pass, etc). Duplicate candidates aren't always picked up and condensed.

Exciting new CRM

This is such a powerful tool for recruiters. Sales and marketing ops take a step back, but I see a bright future for Crelate.

Pros

I love the UI, maneuverability, and their customer service. They have been an amazing team to work with.

Cons

It's still early on. A lot of features are developing. Not a lot of tools, especially sales & marketing tools, integrate with Crelate. BUT the Crelate team is very responsive and helpful in integrating 3rd party tools in.

Getting around and menus are not intuitive. You have to click through several icons to figure out how to get somewhere (i.e., to lists, uploading resumes, etc.)

Crelate for Sales

It allows us to track activities by account that are being touched by multiple people. It helps to maintain focus, owners, timing and follow up.

Pros

The dashboard is easy to follow and contains the information I need to track progress.

Cons

There's nothing that I dislike about Crelate; I think if you continue to make it customizable, it will only improve.

- Best for sourcing/recruiting.

Cons

- The way Jobs and Companies are organized could be improved.

Perfect For The Recruiting Consultant

Great- I can keep track of my candidates easily. Love the dashboard for manager calls!

Pros

Crelate does what I need- it keeps a database of my candidates, allows me to move them with ease from job to job, keeps my notes etc. It's reasonably priced, private and user friendly.

Cons

When I save someone, I need to go into their record to disposition them. I'd like to be able to save them as "Reach Out 1" vs having to save as new from the resume/website, go into Crelate and put them in a stage.

Crelate for Candidate Tracking

It was a useful tool for what we needed but would be more valuable or useful if the candidate and company profile management was easier to cross reference - those two functions seemed like separate tools.

Pros

All of the communication with a profile was in one place.
Easy to train new users due to user-friendly interface.

Pros

I like a lot of facets of the portal. The fact it's always evolving is a big one for me. Very simple to use which is another great point for me.

Cons

Sometime's it doesn't pull all of the information off the resume when you parse it so sometimes you have to enter info manually.

Crelate for the win!

Overall Crelate is THE BEST ats system I have ever used (and we have tried about 6). Try Crelate - you will not be dissappointed.

Pros

What I like most about Crelate:
- They are constantly putting out new updates and features to make your experience the best it can be.
- They listen to customer insights and requests and try to update the system to accommodate.
- Amazing interface.

Cons

What I like least about Crelate:
- The signature tool is tedious and not compatible with signature tools.
- Email parsing as far as resumes does not always work well.

Thus far, we have been happy with Crelate. It allows seamless integration between business development and recruiting.

Pros

Crelate is highly intuitive and supports our workflow. There is so many features we are not employing which makes it somewhat "future proof" for our company.

Cons

User friendly and has lots of great features

Crelate is a relatively new company and I expect the product will continue to improve. I like that I was able to do a free trial to get a true feel for how it works before buying. So far I am mostly satisfied.

Pros

Dashboard is very simple and customizable. It sends your jobs out to the free job boards like Indeed and ZipRecruiter and allows you to direct candidates all to one place. The job portal is very clean looking and allows you to tag jobs with different categories. It can also be embedded into your existing website. Pricing is reasonable compared to other ATS products. Importing candidates from LinkedIn is a very useful feature too. Email tracking is another feature I like - I'm able to see all of my conversations with candidates right from the dashboard.

Cons

Integration with paid job boards needs to be expanded. Posting to CareerBuilder through Crelate does not give you all of the job categories and custom options that you get if posting on the actual site. Monster integration does not work either. Would be nice to add options for posting to Craigslist and other niche job boards. Mobile platform functionality is ok but not great.
