Good Product
I've not had any major issues with their services. They've been responsive with minor issues I've had in the past.
PROSWe've been using this service since Shopper Approved began their company. I like that they syndicate reviews to Google.
CONSIntegration for the product requires someone with programing knowledge. It's becoming more challenging to integrate as a small business

Great Tool For Boosting Ecommerce Websites
At our marketing agency we recommend ShopperApproved merchant reviews to all our clients. While there are some other options on the market that have pros and cons, we like the inexpensive and well thought out merchant review system from ShopperApproved. We do not typically recommend product reviews, as we prefer to retain those in whatever ecommerce CMS we're using, and we do not have an opinion about their local reviews offering (none of our clients are local businesses). We find that the ShopperApproved rating badges and javascript snippets showing recent reviews are very beneficial to conversions. We also find that when ShopperApproved merchant reviews are syndicated to Google Ads, they have a positive effect on ad performance. We like the way the survey content and timing can be customized, and we love the ease of install too - just one JS snippet on the order confirmation page is enough to start collecting merchant reviews. If we have any complaints, it's that pricing is not consistent. Many of our clients have reached out to ShopperApproved and received vastly different price quotes. Also, the user interface for the service is dated and clunky. It's not at all unusable, however, just a little confusing. Still, these are minor issues.

Reason for choosing Shopper Approved
We have clients using Trustpilot, Reviews.io, and Yotpo. While each of these services has positives over ShopperApproved, we find that they're all either a) much more expensive or b) not syndicating reviews to Google Ads, at least at the lower pricing levels. For many of our clients, we provide a reviews system as part of our package. In that situation, we always provide ShopperApproved, as it is the best value. We have also trialed Google Merchant Reviews. While you can't beat the price, the marketing benefits are limited. What's more, it can take a very long time to obtain a rating. For those reasons, we do not currently focus on Google's offering.

Good Review Platform with Some Room for Improvement
Overall, Shopper Approved is a decent product for the price point. It is very affordable, so we overlook the inconveniences.
PROSThe reviews from Shopper Approved integrate nicely into our site, providing our customers with both overall site reviews and product reviews. The fact that all of the reviews are from authorized customers is also a benefit.
CONSIt would be VERY helpful to be able to tell Shopper Approved that an item has actually shipped, and send out the follow-up email based on actual ship date, rather than based on an overall estimation. From time-to-time, we have items that are on backorder, and Shopper Approved sends out the survey before the product is received, causing confusion and frustration for our customers.
Reason for choosing Shopper Approved
We chose Shopper Approved because it had the richest feature set in its price category. It is a good "starter" review platform.

Shopper Approved staff have all been very knowledgable, helpful and care a lot about our company's success.
PROSEasy to implement with Shopify. Most customers are happy to provide feedback and we are able to use that feedback to make improvements in customer services, processes, website in near realtime.
CONSI don't like adding extra steps for customers at checkout, but the feedback is so critical and valuable that the benefits way outweigh the exceptional few (customers who really don't like that you asked them for feedback). 99.9% do not react negatively to being asked for feedback and we take the feedback gathered very seriously and it is a huge net benefit to both our customers and our organization.

ShopperApproved has helped me share thousands of consumer reviews!
I'd say it's worth the cost, I know it helps us generate more sales than we would if we didn't have it.
PROS- I love the Stars integration that my google ads would get. - The badge icon really does look good and help validate our legitimacy, we always refer our clients to our ShopperApproved to see our validity.
CONS- I'd like more to do, and if they have a more user-friendly dashboard. It is a bit clunky, kinda hard to find what I'm looking for sometimes. But, it works fine.

I found ShopperApproved first, I also like their badge. TrustPilot looked like all those other lesser-known, lesser-legitimate reviews websites. ShopperApproved stood out the most out of all of those other ones looking similar to each other.

Shopper Approved helps us get more high quality reviews
The post-purchase pop-up that Shopper Approved developed for BigCommerce allowed us to get substantially more merchant reviews than a competing solution. And the survey questions themselves prompt high quality responses that are very useful for business insights. In addition, the Survey Destinations feature has been really successful at getting our reviews spread around most of the other major review sites.
CONSThe product reviews feature is average, as far the number of reviews it generates.

Better pricing + significantly more merchant reviews due to the post-purchase pop-up.

Good Software
Good company to work with.
PROSWe use this software to gather customer insight into their experience using our website. Some of our customers are directed to review in Shopper Approved and some are sent a link to leave us a review on google. This is a great feature and has helped us get over 200 honest reviews on our google page.
CONSIt all works fine. I do not have dislikes about this software.

Great Product
We have been using Shopper Approved just over a year and already have over 7000 reviews. These reviews definitely give customers to confidence to shop on our site and we can easily justify the cost with the additional sales it has generated.
CONSI can't think of anything that I don't like about this product.

Everything we hoped for
Fantastic. After a few initial bumps getting it installed and working properly (customer support was great to work with), this has been functioning really, really well for us.
PROSShopper Approved has boosted our Merchant, Product, and Google Business reviews by huge numbers. The Google reviews was especially helpful because despite our overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, a few upset customers left us negative Google reviews and we were having a hard time directing others there to balance them out. Shopper Approved made it super easy and our Google ratings are through the roof. The Customer Care/Resolution process is also a really nice touch, enabling our customer service team to proactively engage with customers that were not totally satisfied.
CONSThe default styling on displaying reviews on a product page is a little gaudy - BUT we have the ability to customize it, so I can't complain too loudly.

We felt at the time - and still feel - that we got the most bang for the buck from Shopper Approved.

Happy Customer
We are very pleased with the software. We are probably under utilizing some of the features.
PROSIt is very user friendly. I feel it's a great value for the price. It's also a well known review software so many customers have heard of the company which helps validate the reviews.
CONSI didn't like the full year having to be paid upfront. Currently they made an exception and allowed a quarterly plan for me. Starting out, it was a bit of a turn off to have to pay the full year up front.

Trust Pilot was much pricier. Since choosing shopperapproved I have been turned off by their aggressive strategy to try and get retailers to register on their platform as well as utilizing our business name to benefit their search standings.

Outstanding Highly Recommended
I highly recommend this software. It collects reviews very well and it also allows me to interact with my customers by responding to their reviews.
PROSShopper Approved is easy to use, works seamlessly with my website. Integration is easy, and tech support is very responsive when I have needed them. Also everyone is nice, and eager to assist when needed.

Every experience I've had with Shopper Approved has been solid. They treat me like a true partner, not just a client.
PROSThrough Shopper Approved we're easily able to garner thousands of merchant reviews a year...and, because Shopper Approved is a Google review partner, we're able to seamlessly syndicate our reviews to Google.
CONSIt can feel a little dated at times, particularly the process of submitting reviews...where the Customer has to click through from an email to a webpage (it would be cool if the Customer could leave the review from within the email).

A must have for any Small Business!
Customer service has always been responsive and helped when we had difficulty. A+
PROSI like the ability to customize this to your individual needs. The daily reviews help bring confidence and being able to highlight the ones that show first are a great to show potential customers. We have this loaded on every product page, footer of our website with the dynamic icon with number of reviews. What a great product!
CONSI wish there was an ability to have more veto reviews on the dashboard.
