I was concerned about how the import process would go as I didnt have previous experience with the documentation necessary. The process was very easy to complete and on the two occasions when I did have questions about documentation, I was able to get a timely answer for the 24 hour support team. #### Cons I would love to have a way to track prices over time between specific ports. No incentive was offered #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 1/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 1/5 #### Pros It seems cheap at first and like it will make things easier and streamline the process but they will hit you with new charges and provide zero customer service. #### Cons I was forced to pay 500% more than what I was quoted (and had already paid for) because they claimed I didn't submit a corrected piece of paperwork quickly enough. They had the form for two weeks but waited until a few days before the boat took off to tell me I needed to correct something on the paperwork. I had submitted all my paperwork and paid weeks before and was travelling without access to a printer/computer to do this. A deadline was never communicated and I submitted the paperwork a few days later. Apparently this was too late and now I have to pay more. I tried to go through the dispute process and FreightOs was ABYSMAL. Each email came from a different person, they always said they were looking into things and then I wouldn't hear back for days. Eventually someone told me they agreed: I was never given a deadline and the potential charge was never explained upfront. But FedEx offered to take off $100 of the charge so they were considering it settled. I've repeatedly asked what I did wrong that has made this charge my fault and not FedEx, who failed to communicate appropriately. No one responds. Now they've sent a letter from legal claiming I'm ignoring them and I need to pay immediately. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY. I thought the advantage here would be a certain level of support and a streamlining of the process that would help me avoid these kind of charges. I wish I had just done the booking myself and saved the money I'm now losing. --- ### Great company. I was able to do customs clearance and delivery within Canada all one stop. You know, it's frustrating sometimes, but it's nice to have multiple carriers to choose from and overall it's less frustrating than other ways to import our stuff. So as much as we want to throw things at the wall sometimes, I think FreightOS is still better than other options out there. Customs is now done by one company so we don't have to do power of attorneys every shipment, and uploading documents is a lot easier than it used to be as well. #### Cons Invoicing. I can deal with just about everything from quote to delivery, but 1) we don't get invoices until like 4 days before they're due, and 2) there's no option to pay by wire through the website. You click wire and they just mark the invoice paid and give you a screenshot of the bank details. That's where Freightos comes in. They do it all for you. They get a percent of the shipment, but honestly it's very reasonable and I'd pay it for the convenience any day! #### Cons Nothing really, it's great! Getting a quote is a quick process. #### Cons Sometimes it feels like I'm uploading the same files repeatedly - especially with the new customs integration. Export licenses are a little unclear as well.
