I am creating video tutorials for the software that we provide to our customers.

- Screen Recording - Easy Video Editing - Can add narration "Text - to - Speach" with true voices! - Can add music background in the whole video, no mater how many slides - Can make software simulations - Can make quizes and get the results - Ideal for Video Tutorials and creation of pre-recorderd courses.

Not really many things to mention. Maybe the only drawback is that you have free updates for the major version you buy. But honestly... I wouldn't say that this is strange! You buy a software and you can use it for as long as you want... and the company gives you free updates for many years... but only for the version you bought. Fair I guess...

I have been using Active Presenter for about 6 years now and I can't do my job without it. I don't need a complex or expensive program to create videos, Active Presenter does everything they do. If I have a question, the user forum usually has the answer or I post the question and usually get an answer the next day - that's unbelievable. Plus they stay up to date with their user guide and software updates.

I love how easy and intuitive Active Presenter is. I have used Captivate and other products and they aren't as easy. Plus Active Presenter is a fraction of their costs and has all the tools I need to create video simulations, interactive videos and just plain tutorials. I also like the ability to effortlessly import slides from PowerPoint. Great product and fabulous customer service!

I would like more Animations to choose from to add even more pizzazz, but it has the standard animations that PowerPoint has.

It has the greater part of the altering apparatuses, so you can post process your recorded recordings, upgrade their sound, or even add different impacts. Splendid for making custom preparation modules.

Intuitive components are accessible to direct the crowd by an adjusted way, fitting the circumstance or the need of the crowd. Different kinds of inquiries/tests.

It requires a touch of investment when we send out the video and at time. It requires greater investment while sending out into MP4 design subsequent to finishing the video in the product however we can accomplish other work while it is trading.

Overall, as long as you are Okay with their animation quality and the price, ActivePresenter is a great choice for users who need a comprehensive and easy-to-use screen recording. It offers a wide range of features and an intuitive interface makes it suitable for all skill levels.

I do understand why people like ActivePresenter, but compared to other alternatives, ActivePresenter is quite expensive, and their animation, such as transition, ouch it is ugly, sometimes I feel like using the old windows video editor.

We need it for record our sessions of networking, AMAs and more, so we use it and try to keep in a original and/or native resolution all content.

It has an extense list of options and a clean interface (with a lot of buttons), have a lot of formats, a lot of possibilities of customize your record, your video...

Some of options doesn't seems to be optimized, as when you export your record, it takes too long for finish it. And i think could be better to minimize that too much options in a main interface.

Maintenance of how-to videos is a big issue. With ActivePresenter, we can switch out anything that needs to be edited for a new release, switch in new material quickly, and put out a revised video in less than an hour. With some other video editors, it took a couple of days. We’ve occasionally lost source files for older videos (not necessarily in ActivePresenter). With AP, we simply record the published older video and turn it into an AP source file.

I use ActivePresenter in two contexts. As a video producer for a major educational company, I produce small how-to videos that need frequent updating. As a mystery writer, I produce "teaser" videos for my books: fewer maintenance cycles but I need more dazzling effects. I've used other video editing suites and course creation tools, including Captivate, Camtasia, and (currently) Premiere Pro. For ease of use and breadth of features, my favorite is ActivePresenter. It is enormously flexible. It can import PowerPoint slides, images, GIFs, and other videos. As you edit, you can separate your video into chunks ("slides") to focus on one piece of animation or editing at a time. It captures video off the screen or from an application *and separates the video track from the audio track*--a huge win in maintenance. You can record multiple audio and video tracks at once. You can record a video without the mouse and layer the mouse in later, another big maintenance win. Once you’ve captured a video, you can export it as a MP4, then add it to another video, then edit it again, then export that video and import it to another video…all without loss of audio or video quality. Editing is nondestructive. AP has a nice library of special effects, including transitions from scene to scene, fades in and out of individual items in the timeline, animation (even without Saola Animate), and opacity. With the course creation module, of course, you’d get many more.

It’s a high-end video edit and there’s a learning curve if you haven’t used a similar product before. If you have, some things work differently but there are no real surprises. Source files for a complex video can be LARGE, up to several hundred MB. Plan your storage accordingly. (Output files are fine.) Neither of these are big issues.

My students benefit - as I can build splendid presetnations and imnpoirt extra MP4s to provide a comprehensive output.

Having used Articlulate, Storyline and ISpring =- i chose this as a bette roption - as it was apersonal expense.

I thought perpetual license was forever and upgrqades would come with it - so I have kept to version 7.

I like it because it has many good video editing features (i.e. cut, trim, crop, split, join, merge video and many more) after you record a video. Excellent for interactive software tutorials.

Not anything too annoying, but I had to study it a little before understanding how to use it.

It is simple to make videos, edit videos, and add subtitles. Along with the subtitles, we are also able to export the video in a variety of compatible formats.

When combining multiple videos, timeline management is difficult. The app may not respond after the editing lags.

I use ActivePresenter now for almost 3 years! I am very proud of showing my presentations to all my colleagues. The interactivity and the user-friendly approach is so great! A little bit of learning curve before you can explore all the possibilities of the software. (but after all, there is a very elaborated manual and a supporting help-desk!)

Io adoro questo software! Mi ha aiutato a salvare il mio sito dall'oblio, dopo la morte di Adobe Flash Player, dato che i miei esercizi interattivi erano stati creati tutti in Flash. Ho cercato tanto nel web, ma i prezzi altissimi degli altri software mi avevano bloccato e rattristato. Non sapevo più cosa fare. Poi ho trovato Active Presenter ed è stato la mia salvezza! Un fiore all'occhiello è anche il meraviglioso Team di supporto, penso non ne esistano altri come il loro, sempre presenti e disponibili. Per tutto questo ringrazio di cuore chi ha lavorato e lavora tuttora a questo fantastico progetto.

Active Presenter ha molte funzioni e trovo sia facile da usare, ma quando sorge qualche problema che non comprendo chiedo aiuto al team di supporto che arriva subito in soccorso.

Mi piace tutto, solo mi piacerebbe potesse avere anche la funzionalità di inserire animazioni vettoriali.

Es un programa bastante útil si necesitas grabar la pantalla de manera algo regular, es rápido de hacer que grabe, fácil, es gratuito y puedes editar con cierta complejidad luego, curva de aprendizaje suave y no lanza errores.

El problema viene cuando renderizas el vídeo, lo exportas... O cuando lo capturas grabando la pantalla. Cuando lo grabo en la pantalla de compañeros de trabajo porque el vídeo lo hacen ellos, a veces si el ordenador no es suficientemente potente, graba como con pocos frames, y al exportarlo lo mismo, por no hablar de lo que puede tardar en renderizarse algo teniendo poco RAM...

It is generally a good tool. When you start using it. And you may feel unusual with its type of tools, but pretty soon, you learn it.

I love the inter functionality among the tools that it brings!

I don't like the type of HTML 5 player. You should be able to choose abetter one.

si tengo que recalcar algo que diferencia ActivePresenter con el resto de herramientas de autor con las que he trabajado es sin duda la atención al cliente y el soporte personalizado que ofrecen. ¡Fue sin duda excepcional!

Por comentar algo negativo, son los pequeños errores que puedes encontrar en situaciones concretas, pero que gracias a la comunidad y al equipo de soporte, poco a poco van solventando con cada actualización.
