Excellent Product

PROS

Ease of use, and a good API. We use BulkSMS in our firewall integrations, and part of our service for checking that SIM cards in failover routers are still alive.

CONS

Nothing to dislike, whenever I've needed support, BulkSMS have been swift etc in their replies.

Great for text marketing

PROS

We were building a service for our clients using the integration, we had a lot of support from the staff

CONS

The API was not as thorough as we thought, we ended up using other vendors, and machine-assisted algorithms that would pick the most suitable.

Reasons for switching to BulkSMS

The cost of SimpleTexting, even with a discount was not enough to make the venture feasible.

Works but issues with billing

I happy at first but was disappointed by the billing and how my credit disappear

it was very easy to setup and go live.

The billing is not very transparent credit disappear

BulkSMS is an essencial tool in our business!

It's an essential part of our daily business, and we can't imagine being without it.Our clients know exactly when they can collect their vehicles, at what time, and at what cost, withour banking information included. We run a Service Centre within the Motor Industry.

PROS

In a country like South Africa, where infrastructure is busy failing, it's essential to have a tool that's reliable. Our telephone systems are failing and we find it increasingly difficult to get hold of clients from time to time.I find that 90% of the time when we can't get hold of them via phone, we can send them an SMS, that will reach them and they can respond.

CONS

I honestly can't find fault with the system. What might be an issue from time to time, is that clients don't seem to read their SMSs because they're relying on other Social Media platforms as their main form of communication.

I have been using sms bulk the past 4years or so and i do like it, very effective way of communicating with bulk clients

PROS

Copy and paste this doesnt work very well, we have to do one number at a time which takes lots of time. PLease enable copy and past multiple numbers

CONS

No customer service available when you need assistant always have to email then it takes days to actually resolve the issue or it will not be resolved

Reliable solution

PROS

BULK SMS is a very reliable solution. It gives me warnings on system errors

CONS

Only Pay with creditcard. This makes payment difficult

Value for money

We have solved problems with communication of employees when they are unavailable, to take calls and we need to contact a large amount of people.

PROS

I loved the user-friendly interface, which allowed me to save messages as templates for convenient reuse in the future. The reporting was great for monitoring sent messages and when they were delivered.

CONS

The web interface works but may need an updated look. I think the ability to add an individual contact's name while bulk messaging would be a great feature for the web interface.

Reason for choosing BulkSMS

BulkSMS offered a better rate and had more features like the contact and group database. The scheduling feature was great too.

PROS

My credits don't have an expiration date! Fast and easy to use, can send pics and documents!

CONS

It does not include Greek letter characters with standard billing! Should be included!

Thanks for your review, Dimitris. Ah, those Unicode messages! Unfortunately, that's a limitation of SMS - 70 characters for a Unicode SMS, and 160 characters for the standard GSM alphabet.
