- 1 star: 3 reviews (0%)

### Most mentioned pros

- What I appreciate most about Google Forms is its **seamless accessibility and intuitive design**, which allows for the creation of professional surveys and quizzes in minutes without any coding knowledge.
- The **automated integration** with spreadsheets significantly reduces the manual effort required for data organization, making it an indispensable asset for quick feedback loops and structured data collection. While it may lack some of the high-end aesthetic flexibility of specialized builders, its **reliability and speed** make it a go-to solution for both professional and academic projects.
- versatility**—offering a wide range of question types, skip logic, and customizable themes—makes it an exceptionally reliable tool for both academic research and quick organizational polling.

### Most mentioned cons

- Due to Google Forms being a free platform, it doesnt allow for amazing customization and instead the design aspects are fairly minimal compared to other survey design services.
- Another issue is that there are no advanced security settings like HIPAA-compliant encryption for Free accounts, and it lacks spam protection and password-protecting options.
- You can’t easily implement complicated CSS styling, custom fonts, or even more polished branding layouts, and that feels restrictive.

Overall, my experience with Google Forms has been very positive. It's a dependable tool that makes it easy to create surveys, collect feedback, and organize responses without spending much time setting everything up. I appreciate how smoothly it works with other Google services, especially Google Sheets, which makes reviewing data much easier. While it has a few limitations when it comes to customization and advanced features, it has always been reliable for my day-to-day needs and gets the job done efficiently.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

What I liked most about Google Forms is how simple it is to use. I didn't need any training to create a form, and I was able to share it with others in just a few minutes. The responses come in automatically, which saves a lot of time compared to collecting information manually. I also like that it works well with Google Sheets, making it easy to review and organize the data. Overall, it's a reliable tool for creating surveys, collecting feedback, and handling registrations without any hassle.

#### Cons

One thing I like least about Google Forms is that the design and customization options are fairly limited. While it's great for simple forms and surveys, it can feel restrictive when you want a more professional-looking form or advanced features like detailed conditional logic and reporting. Managing very large forms can also become a bit difficult, and some integrations require additional tools or workarounds.

I use Google forms for our baristas to fill out bios to post on social media, and for community spotlights with small businesses in our area that we feature on social media. At one point we used them for staff check-ins but now use a communications apps for that.

I love how easy it is to create forms. It’s very simple and people trust the link since it’s a reputable site.

#### Cons

I wish the forms could look cuter/ be more customizable to fit our brand. More fun fonts and ability to make animations.

#### Reasons for choosing Google Forms

I use both, we like to use Connectteam for our team communications. There’s more features there but when in need a little bio information I use google forms.

Overall, my experience of using Google Forms was positive, and I want to continue using this application. We used it to conduct market research to get to know our potential clients and understand their demands. This information was helpful to adjust our work and provide our organisation with the necessary products. To conclude, I would like to mention that Google Forms is a great free survey tool, which can be successfully used in different spheres of work.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I had the opportunity to use Google Forms in my work as a Marketing Executive Intern at Hackett & Hackett International Group Limited. I can say that this tool has a lot of advantages. Firstly, it is a convenient and free platform that provides users with no restrictions. Moreover, this service does not have a premium subscription. I also liked that it has excellent Google Office Suite compatibility and a drag-and-drop builder. Another advantage is that it offers various templates for resumes, surveys, application forms, and more.

#### Cons

On the other hand, Google Forms has several disadvantages, such as a basic design and the absence of brand customisation. In addition, there is no possibility to integrate with payment systems, such as PayPal or Stripe, and it is necessary to use third-party add-ons. Another issue is that there are no advanced security settings like HIPAA-compliant encryption for Free accounts, and it lacks spam protection and password-protecting options. The last disadvantage is that there is no offline mode, and it is required to be online while working with the service.

#### Cons

Google Forms is the tool I reach for whenever something needs collecting and it doesn't need to be pretty. Sign-ups, feedback, quick internal surveys, event RSVPs; it handles all of that in minutes and drops the results somewhere I can actually use them.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The speed from idea to working form is what sells it. I can build a survey, registration, or feedback form in a few minutes with no training and no setup, and share it as a link that works on any device. Responses flow straight into Google Sheets, which means analysis, filtering, and charts are already handled without exporting anything. Conditional logic lets you branch questions based on answers, which covers most of what people actually need from a form builder. Response validation, required fields, file uploads, and the built-in summary charts are all solid. It's free, it's collaborative in the same way as Docs, and it plugs into the rest of Workspace without configuration.

#### Cons

The design options are minimal. You can change a colour and a header image, and that's about it, so forms always look like Google Forms. That's fine internally and less fine when it's customer-facing. The logic is basic compared to dedicated tools: no calculated fields, no complex branching, no payment collection, and no saving a partial response to finish later.

### Google Forms- A useful tool for the busy marketer

Positive, it's become my go-to when I need to gather actionable information from people within or outside of the company I work for. It's an easy-to-use, effective and quick way to reliably gather key information that you can always refer back to.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It's incredibly easy to quickly spin up client or internal questionnaires, forms to record attendance at internal or external events, record product feedback or key information at different points of our sales and delivery processes. It comes included with the google suite so it's an added benefit on top of a package we need as a company anyway. The newly integrated AI feature is a real help, it allows me to quickly design a different kind of survey very quickly and effectively.

#### Cons

I didn't find it easy to integrate Google Forms with other aspects of our processes (CRM/other google docs etc). It may be that I require training to do so but I couldn't easily find how the responses may feed in to other key processes.

### Google Forms - The Ultimate Get It Done Tool

My overall experience with Google Forms has been highly positive, primarily because it delivers exactly what it promises, a fast, reliable, and completely free way to gather information. It is my go to for internal team polls and quick event registrations because the setup takes minutes and the integration with Google Sheets is flawless. While it lacks the wow factor of more design heavy platforms, its simplicity and lack of hidden paywalls make it an essential tool for straightforward data collection.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Google Forms is the ultimate get it done tool because it strips away the complexity of data collection while offering seamless integration into the Google Workspace ecosystem. What I like most is the effortless synergy with Google Sheets, which allows for real time data analysis without the need for manual exports. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface ensures a near zero learning curve, making it accessible for everyone from students to project managers. Perhaps most importantly, it offers a robust suite of features, like unlimited responses and collaborative editing, entirely for free, providing professional grade utility without the restrictive paywalls found in competing platforms

#### Cons

The primary drawback of Google Forms is its rigid design and limited customisation, which often results in a cookie cutter look that lacks professional branding. While it handles basic surveys well, it struggles with complex requirements, the lack of advanced logic branching, limited file upload sizes, and the inability to accept payments natively can be major roadblocks.

#### Reasons for switching to Google Forms

I made the switch because Google’s cloud native architecture offers superior real time collaboration and seamless integration across devices, making it far more efficient for fast paced, team oriented workflows than Microsoft's more traditional ecosystem

I would say that my overall experience with Forms is a positive one. For the most part, I can quickly put together a form, publish it, and have it out to collect responses in a very short period of time. Since that's what it's basically made for, it's a winning tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

This Google product has really come a long way over the years. The ability to quickly and easily create, duplicate, and section off different types of questions is super simple. The integration of form creation using AI has also been a big leap. A recent addition of allowing the form to close on a certain date or after a certain number of submissions has been extremely helpful as well.

#### Cons

I do feel that the user interface could be updated to a more modern and fresh design. Many of the functions in creating a form are still from the way past. In addition, some of the sharing functions seem a little overly complicated and clunky.

My overall experience has been positive. It offers good value for money because it’s simple, reliable, and quick to set up. I’ve used it mostly for feedback collection, registrations, and surveys, and it has made data collection much easier. The ease of use is one of its biggest strengths, especially for people who want a straightforward form builder without spending too much time learning it.

#### Ratings breakdown

What I liked most is how easy it is to create forms and surveys without any technical setup. It’s cost-effective since it’s free with Google Workspace, and the interface is simple enough for anyone to use. Data collection is smooth, responses are organized automatically, and linking with Google Sheets makes analysis much easier. It also works well for simple scheduling and internal team planning.

#### Cons

The main thing I liked least is the limited customization for survey design. The templates and styling options are basic compared to other form tools. Customer support is also not very direct unless you’re using a paid Google Workspace plan. For advanced workflows, employee scheduling, or detailed analytics, it can feel limited.

Overall, my experience with Google Forms has been really positive. It’s super easy to create forms, share them with others, and collect responses without much effort. I also like how everything feels organized and straightforward, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time figuring things out. The connection with Google Sheets is really helpful too, especially when there are lots of responses to sort through. It’s simple, reliable, and gets the job done. Definitely a great option for quick surveys, sign-ups, and feedback!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Google Forms is seriously one of those tools that just makes life easier. It’s super simple to create forms, collect responses, and keep everything organized without any hassle. I love how clean and user-friendly it is, and the fact that it integrates so well with Google Sheets is a huge bonus. Whether you’re making a quick survey, signup form, quiz, or collecting feedback, it gets the job done quickly and reliably. Definitely one of the most useful free tools out there!

#### Cons

One downside of Google Forms is that the customization options can feel a little limited. If you want your form to have a really unique or professional look, you might find the design choices kind of basic. It works great for simple forms, but it doesn’t offer as much flexibility as some other form-building tools.

For a bootstrapped startup that lives in Google Workspace anyway, it's hard to beat the price point. I use it for customer surveys, event registrations, and initial lead qualification forms. It's not going to wow anyone with fancy features or design flexibility, but it handles straightforward data collection without adding another subscription to our burn rate.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It's free and works with our existing Google Workspace setup, so there's no extra expense to justify. I can throw together a form in maybe 10 minutes when I need to collect customer feedback or run a quick market survey. The response data drops straight into Sheets which makes analysis pretty straightforward. For simple questionnaires and lead capture forms, it does what we need without overthinking it.

#### Cons

The design options are extremely limited - everything ends up looking like a Google product, which doesn't exactly scream professional brand identity. Logic branching gets messy fast once you go beyond basic skip patterns. No real integration options outside the Google ecosystem, so connecting it to our CRM requires workarounds or Zapier.

Google Forms are a fantastic instrument for every day usage. It's the most suitable for small data and team polls, but not for complex and large software. It is also very timesaving and dependable! I use it on a weekly basis for team meetings and it always works.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love Google Forms as it is very easy to create. I use it as a Software Development Manager to capture a lot of things such as bugs, team feedback, feature ideas etc. Delivers no cost, quick operation in my browser. I can preview all answers in a nice clean pie chart or I can can export them to Google Sheets. This is very convenient as I don't have to input data by hand, which makes my work a lot easier. Also, the link can be shared with anybody and they could open it on their mobile or laptop phones without any issues.

#### Cons

There are a couple things I don't like about this design. I can't alter the layout very much and the appearance is rather simple. Creating a very professional looking form is difficult. Also, when I have a very long form with a lot of questions involved sometimes it takes me a long time to edit. I'd like to see it offered with more advanced features in relation to skip logic as sometimes they can be a bit of a puzzle when setting up a more complex survey.

Overall, my experience with Google Forms has been positive for simple and quick data collection. It’s very easy to set up, user-friendly, and works well for basic surveys, sign-ups, and feedback forms. The integration with Google Sheets is also useful for organizing and analyzing responses in real time. That said, it feels a bit limited when you need more advanced features, design flexibility, or complex logic. It’s great for straightforward use cases, but less ideal for more detailed or branded survey experiences.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5

What I liked most about Google Forms is how easy and quick it is to set up and use. You can create a form in minutes, share it instantly, and start collecting responses right away. Everything integrates smoothly with Google Sheets, which makes organizing and analyzing data super efficient. It’s simple, reliable, and gets the job done without any friction.

#### Cons

What I liked least about Google Forms is that it feels pretty limited in terms of customization and overall design, so it’s hard to make forms look fully branded or unique. Some of the logic and branching features are also fairly basic, which can be frustrating for more complex surveys. It works well for simple use cases, but once you try to build something more advanced or detailed, you start to feel its limitations pretty quickly.

Does what I need without costing anything. Perfect for a small apparel business like mine where I need to gather customer info but can't justify paying monthly fees for fancy software. It's basic but reliable. I've used it for over two years collecting custom order specs and it hasn't failed me yet. Worth using if you need simple forms.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I use this to collect t-shirt design preferences and custom order details from my clients. It’s free, which is a big deal when you’re running a small business. The forms work great on phones, too, since that’s how most of my customers actually fill them out. I can see the responses immediately in a spreadsheet, which makes it so much easier to keep track of what designs people want and what sizes they need. It saves me from all that endless back-and-forth messaging.

#### Cons

The forms look pretty plain and basic, which doesn't always match my brand aesthetic. When I want to make something that looks more professional or creative, I'm limited. Also wish I could save partial responses because sometimes customers start filling orders then come back later to finish, and they have to start over completely.

It offers us exactly what we need: quick and easy data collection without any charge, which is important for a small company like ours. It is great for internal use, to gather feedback from the team or to make a quick survey, but it is not the most professional looking tool to work with externally. A low cost option that is practical for startups who are not well resourced.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It is a great go to for creating a survey or form without the in-depth tech skills. It's a small business and we use it for feedback, scheduling, even for the induction process. One can easily share with the team and feedback is received in a neat order. Not to mention it's free, which helps a lot with our low income.

#### Cons

The variety of designs is basic and can be quite limited. For instance, there's not a lot of flexibility to match our branding, or make it look more refined which would be good from an external point of view. Additionally, grouping or categorizing multiple forms for individual projects can become tedious as the number of forms increases, if it is not possible to do so.

That said it’s an awesome tool for rapid feedback. It’s not for creating beautiful landing pages, but it is the best for getting information quick. If you find yourself needing to record answers from numerous people at low cost, this is definitely the program for you.Every week it saves me a tremendous amount of time.

#### Pros

I use Google Forms constantly for my job as a product manager. It's nice for when I have to ask my users how they feel about a new feature. It's a simple thing that it makes really quick to create a survey. I can literally drag the questions and drop them, and share the link. The beauty of it is that all the answers land in a Google Sheet automatically, so I can visualize the data on a list without needing to do any further work. It’s free and everyone on my team already knows how to use it.

#### Cons

But the design is very basic. And I can´t change fonts, layout that much so it allways looks like a google form Let's say I want to create a really fancy looking survey that matches my company brand and I can't do here.

I use Google Forms regularly to send surveys and collect data. When you work with a large team, this is an effective way to gather opinions and quickly organize results. I also use the feature that allows results to be formatted into a spreadsheet. This is such a useful crossover, giving me the ability to view data exactly how I need to.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love Google Forms easy to use features, the design options, and ability to quickly create and share surveys and collect data. The different question style options are very useful, as is the ability to make questions required or optional. Sharing out forms is as easy as can be! I like being able to quickly share out the forms for immediate data collection. I especially appreciate the option to view results in a Google Sheet, allowing for effective organization of the data.

#### Cons

There are times when sharing the form with constituents outside of your organization takes a few extra clicks, or you will start to receive requests to share and update the settings.
