That they handle hosting and UI/UX, and have great design taste. Means that from idea to live form can be done in minutes.

Cons

Pricing gets very high when you start adding features. Would prefer pricing to be more usage based, as opposed to feature based.

We can create a more interactive experience for our site visitors and gather information with ease.

Pros

Typeform is very, very easy to use. We don't need help from the design team to make good-looking surveys and forms. I like that we can embed the tool right into our existing landing pages, rather than sending them to an external site so we can control the user experience 100%. I also really like the personalized aspect of it, where we can pull in the user's answers for later questions - that is something that we've found lacking in other, more expensive software systems of a similar type. And it's very cost-effective which is the cherry on top.

Cons

I don't love the 'results' view. I would really like to see more data analysis features/aggregated results rather than having them all listed individually. There is the option to export to Excel and do it yourself, but I'd really be happiest to have analytics tools (like in SurveyMonkey) right in the browser and easily usable/accessible.

It's just so easy to use, and the interface is simple and attractive. Not too many options, yet not too few.

I realize this isn't what it's primarily set up to do, but I'd love to see a more robust calculator function that doesn't need to be set up manually.

It's the best alternative when you want a more stylish form than Google form.

Pros

It enables to produce some really stylish forms easily. You can personnalize almost everything and also add a Stripe connection, which is quite useful.

Cons

The URL modification to erase the name of typeform is only avalaible in the most expensive plan. It's the only default I've find so far !

Love the easy to use templates, the advanced survey logic, and the easy of use (especially the mobile-friendly!) Love Sharing Typeforms instead of Google forms. Zapier integration makes it even easier to use them across many different areas.

Cons

The reporting feature is a bit lacking. There are also a few question types that are missing, and it is frustrating that 8 options are required for a drop-down selection.

Pros

The forms are really beautiful and look much more attractive and appealing than standard forms. They're even fun to fill out. They're easy to set up and the logic jumps are a useful feature, allowing you to customize the form users see based on their answers.

Cons

I wish there were more ways to customize how the forms look. We've sometimes run into question types we can't actually set up on Typeform. We have to use another service (Zapier) to export the responses into Google Sheets.

Pros

Typeform has finally helped me get a form application for my website that matches my style and look. It's so clean and SO easy to fill out. There's no overwhelm in seeing all the questions you're to answer in a row, but rather it prompts you question by question. The platform is sleek and so easy to navigate. I would recommend Typeform over any other form application out there.

Cons

I don't have much negativity, it takes a bit of knowledge to get it set up on your site if you're using a Wordpress or Squarespace platform, but they help you walk through it so it's not too difficult.

Pros

We use Typeform primarily for lead generation. It is a beautiful way to capture information from people. It makes inputting information interactive, not boring and time-consuming.
Customization is easy, and there are multiple ways to share your Typeform once you build it (embed it, create your own Typeform page, etc)
What I loved best is that you could test the "pro" version out before buying AND you didn't need to start over. You can start on the free version, then upgrade to the pro version for free to try it out, and not have to spend time re-creating your content. Typeform duplicates your content for you and allows you to see what you could do to your Typeforms if you used the pro version. Super helpful.
Customer support is great via email, Very professional and kind :)

Cons

No cons. The learning curve is easy, there are tons of Typeforms you can view beforehand for inspiration. There's really nothing not to like.

I love Typeform but the recent change of limiting the maximum number of responses for the free version is not a nice move. Till now I have spend more and more time to understand type form better and even considered paying in the future.
However now having only 100 Responses before I pay, I won't be even able to calculate Stat Sig results from one type form to another to proof the value first.

This basically forces me to chose another provider like google forms or Mailchimp forms because I am not able to test the value first before I can start spending on the Typeform which I love.

Pros

-Great Design
-Great User Experience
-Nice underdog of forms next to google forms, survey monkey, etc...

Cons

-Pricing Model (pay after 100 responses and no step in between USD0 and USD30 per month)
-Customer/sales support

Advice to Others

Only choose Typeform if you know how you can monetize it already and understand how it can create value for your business or if you are willing to pay for some time to test it out.

I migrated over from Google Forms over to Typeform over a year ago. My company was first using the free version but quickly needed to purchase the $35/mo plan for our purposes. It's quite a steep price, but because the form is a core part of our business, there's no getting around it.

The ability to send an automatic reply (paid version) as well as organizing the replies exported to a .csv (free) allows you to use this app in a multitude of ways.

If you're looking to build a robust form with a beautiful interface, it's awesome. You always have the free option if you're just looking to feel it out.

aesthetics, automatic reply, and analytics

I have used TypeForm to create business applications as well as reference request forms. I enjoyed using the software and it was very easy and simple to use. The forms you create with Typeform look very professional and are easy for the end user to navigate as well. Your responses can be saved into a database which can be easily manipulated with excel or other software depending on what you are trying to do with the forms.

Pros

The free version offers lots of features and you don't have to pay too much to get the premium setup. It's easy and straightforward to use.

Cons

I can't think of a lot to complain about this software, maybe if you were creating 1000s of forms it wouldn't be well suited but I really enjoyed using the software.

Advice to Others

I would recommend using this over the other free options out there, It really is more powerful than a lot of the options.

We've been using Typeform surveys to collect data continually from our customers all over the world, continually, 24x7. We transfer survey data to our systems via Typeform's API.

In terms of design and usability, the surveys are way ahead of the competition. It's great value for money too.

Where I'm hesitant to recommend Typeform is in terms of reliability. The platform itself still goes down occasionally. In the last 12 months we've had two big issues that have both lasted a couple of days.

In most use cases (if you want to run non-time-critical surveys, where an error message popping up is no big deal), Typeform is an amazing data collection instrument. But if your own brand/image depends on it, I think it's going to take a bit longer before Typeform's own infrastructure and architecture is robust enough.

Customer care is always helpful and friendly. Just be aware that they're not available 24x7, which is noticeable if you're not in their timezone (CET).

Pros

Survey looks and works great across all hardware/browsers.
Ease of use.
Value for money.

Cons

Service not reliable enough (if your brand depends on it).
Customer support not 24x7.

Advice to Others

If you want a great looking survey, I thoroughly recommend Typeform.

Just started using Typeform for our business maybe two months ago. Loving how easy it is to make something so fun and engaging. Also appreciate that Typeform lets you test out their Pro version before you buy. And not just on a 7-day trial. You can clone any of your basic Typeforms and continue to create them in the Pro version. If you love it, you can just upgrade to Pro. We've had awesome results so far with what we have created.

Pros

Easy to create
Looks great on desktop or mobile
User friendly
Customer support is awesome

Cons

The calculator feature doesn't actually calculate. But it still does some pretty neat things.

Advice to Others

Give it a try. It's free and you can test out if you want to pay extra for the Pro features (logic jump, etc)

I used to host/maintain php forms on my server but I needed something that offered a better user experience and had an API. I gave typeform a try.

I've been using typeform for almost a year, on a paid plan. It has some great styling features, some logic capabilities, and is overall fairly flexible (from customer feedback, to quiz, to sales).

I use it to collect files from users and my biggest issue is how buggy the download options are. It's so bad I'm considering switching to another service.

Pros

The API is solid and can be leveraged through Zapier. The layout keeps users focused and the styling options are good.

Cons

File management is a big issue. Whenever I try to download a file that has been uploaded by a user, typeform initiates 10 to 20 parallel downloads. I've tried to report a bug, but typeform only accepts "suggestions." I don't know what this means in terms of their commitment.

Typeform is so easy and intuitive it's almost silly. It seems like they really took the time to figure out what the user would do intuitively, and it makes it incredibly easy to pick up. Well done, guys!

Cons

Disappointed; significant number of results lost

Product Quality

Product Quality
Quality

Typeform don't make it obvious, but they do NOT store partial or incomplete results. In my survey over 120 people started the survey, only 55 completed it. Partial responses would still have been hugely valuable to me, but they're not available with Typeform. They ARE available with SurveyMonkey.

I wrote to TypeForm with feedback. Their response "About the issue with not-saved responses, it's the kind of confusion we try to avoid, asking users to test carefully their typeforms before using them..... we are not looking to implement this feature in the near future"

So a warning to people: If any response (partial or full) is valuable to you in a survey, please be aware that TypeForm doesn't store the results until the final page where the person clicks "Submit".

Pros

Beautiful looking surveys, easy to setup, fantastic analysis tools.

Cons

Doesn't save partial responses.
Some concern, as 3 seperate people reported not being able to submit at the end.
